        補骨脂가 卵巢摘出로 誘發된 흰쥐의 骨多孔症에 미치는 影響

        This study was performed to investigate the effects of Psoraleae Fructus in ovariectomized osteoporosis. The rat model of osteoporosis was induced by ovariectomy of rats. And liquid extract of Psoraleae Fructus was utilized in this experiment, this extract was administered orally 1 time per day during 4 weeks. And then I measured osteocalcine, estradiol, 1, 25-Vitamin D, ALP, phosphorus, calcium of the serum and calcium, phosphorus, deoxyphridinoline of the urine. The results of this experiment were summarized as follows: 1. In the level of serum osteocalcine, the result of Control group was 0.33±0.03ng/㎖, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 0.28±0.007ng/㎖. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed decrease in comparison with Control group, but this result showed no efficacy. 2. In the level of serum estradiol, the result of Control group was 12.46±1.48pg/㎖, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 12.56±0.69pg/㎖. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a little increase in comparison with Control group, but this result showed no efficacy. 3. In the level of serum 1,25-Vitamin D, the result of Control group was 38.35±7.85pg/㎖, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 60.15±3.99pg/㎖. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a significant increase in comparison with Control group. 4. In the level of serum ALP, the result of Control group was 14.40±1.41(K-A Unit), but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 15.87±1.03(K-A Unit). And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a little increase in comparison with Control group, but this result showed no efficacy. 5. In the level of serum phosphorus, the result of Control group was 6.81±0.31㎎/㎗, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 5.69±0.17㎎/㎗. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a significant decrease in comparison with Control group. 6. In the level of serum calcium, the result of Control group was 11.50±0.20㎎/㎗, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 11.89±0.13㎎/㎗. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a increase in comparison with Control group, but this result showed no efficacy. 7. In the level of urine phosphorus, the result of Control group was 7.42±0.58㎎/day, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 7.71±0.50㎎/day. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a little increase in comparison with Control group, but this result showed no efficacy. 8. In the level of urine calcium, the result of Control group was 2.03±0.37㎎/day, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 0.76±0.10㎎/day. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a significant decrease in comparison with Control group. 9. In teh level of urine deoxypyridinoline, the result of Control group was 396.33±34.64nM, but the result of Psoraleae Fructus group was 345.82±35.58nM. And the result of Psoraleae Fructus group showed a decrease in comparison with Control group, but this result showed no efficacy. According to above these results, Psoraleae Fructus has shown to be capable of preventing and curing osteoporosis caused by old-aged and postmenopause.

      • 高等敎育政策의 史的 變遷過程에 關한 硏究

        After liberation of August 15, 1945, it is, in fact, true that our higher education system has been developed visibly, however the policy of the higher education in the meantime brought lots of mistakes, due to lack of consistency, rationality, and speciality on it and it is still going a dispute on quantity and quality of the higher education. The purpose of this research is to observe the higher educational policy during the period from liberation of the August 15 till now and to investigate political, social, educational background of those days in processing higher educational policies handled by ministry of education according to social changes, in the same time finding out how higher educational policies were developed in our country and to obtain some suggestion about future indication in view of new stage of historic turning point. After having made a general survey historically, changing of the policies were as follows: 1. The period of founding policy (August 15, l915-June 24, 1950) The open-door policy, which was originated by introducing the principle of democratic educations, had founded a lot of colleges. 2. The period of reconstructing policy (June 25, 1950-May 15, 1961) Even though our government devoted itself to reconstruct educational facilities and quality of higher education since Korean War broke out on June 25, 1950, the result brought only their expanded numerous facilities. 3. The period of controlling policy (May 16, 1961-September 9, 1971) A decline of quality in college education due to expanded numbers and irrational operation of college has brought the result to strengthen the controlling policy by constituting laws and regulations. 4. The period of reforming policy (September 10, 1971-the present) As a policy to get rid of a discrepancy of the higher education in structure for normarization of the education, it has been improved to reform their education. The policy of higher education in Korea, as stated above, had been changed: It is considered that the reformation activity will certainly be settled in the stable era, passing through the period of decade.

        Milk Intake and Its Association with Metabolic Syndrome in Korean: Analysis of the Third Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES III)

        Although previous studies have shown that milk intake has some protective effects on metabolic syndrome (MS), there are few data on the relation between MS and milk consumption in Korean. To evaluate the association between milk intake frequency and MS, 4,890 subjects (2,052 men and 2,838 women) were included in the analysis, based on the national data from representative random sample of the third Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES III) in 2005. We conducted both univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis with adjustment for confounding factors associated with MS. Mean (±SD) age of subjects was 47.1±15.5 yr. In univariate analysis,the risk of MS was inversely associated with the frequency of milk intake, but this relation was attenuated in multivariate regression. In the individuals with BMI ≥23 kg/m2, those with highest quartile of milk consumption (once daily or more) had significantly lower risk of MS (OR [95% CI] 0.72 [0.57-0.92] compared with lowest quartile [those rarely consumed]) after adjustment, but not among leaner individuals (BMI <23 kg/m2). Korean overweight adults who drink milk more frequently may be protected against MS. But it seems that this relation is somewhat different among MS components.
