        The Role of Psychological Ownership in Internal Marketing

        This study focuses on examining the role of psychological ownership in internal marketing. Specifically, this study explores the relationships between psychological ownership, organizational identification, and turnover intention. Two hundred forty-six employees participated in this study. The results of structural equation modeling revealed that the two components of psychological ownership were associated with increased organizational identification and reduced turnover intention. These findings indicate that psychological ownership might be a positive precedent factor for employees’ organizational identification. Furthermore, organizational identification felt by employees plays an important role in decreasing overall turnover intention. The study contributes to our understanding of employees’ psychology and behavior in their workplace and suggests ways to successfully conduct internal marketing and manage human resources.

        Associations Between Skeletal Muscle Mass, Grip Strength, and Physical and Cognitive Functions in Elderly Women: Effect of Exercise with Resistive Theraband

        [Purpose] The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between muscle mass, muscle strength, and physical and cognitive functions and to examine the effects of resistive Theraband® exercise on sarcopenia-associated variables in the older population. [Methods] A total of 28 elderly women (age: 69.90 ± 0.8 years) participated in this study, 15 of whom underwent elastic band exercise for 1 hour per day, twice per week for 8 weeks. The correlation analysis was conducted to identify the associations between body composition, skeletal muscle mass indices, grip strength, and physical and cognitive functions. All variables were assessed at baseline and post-exercise. [Results] Skeletal muscle mass was significantly associated with grip strength and physical function. Gait speed was positively correlated with grip strength and physical function, but not with cognitive function. Theraband® exercise significantly improved gait speed and physical function. [Conclusion] The present data suggest that skeletal muscle mass is highly correlated with grip strength and physical function. Eight weeks of resistive Theraband® exercise favorably affects sarcopenia by improving gait speed and mobility of elderly women.

      • 산욕기 산모의 산후적응 척도개발을 위한 일연구

        The postpartum mother experiences many normal but important & potentially dangerous physiologic & psychological changes. Physiologic changes can be life-threatening, and psychological & familial adjustments can be threaten mental health or other family stabily and the neonate's long-term physical & psychological well-being. Therefore, the concept of postpartum adaptation must be a central theme in health related research, particularly nursing. But postpartum adaptation has been described in a variety of ways & measured differently from study to study. So there is a lack of conceptual agreement on what is postpartum adaptation. The purpose of this study was to develop a scale to measure postpartum adaptation & to test its reliability & validity & select the items for the final scale. The data was collected from June 5 to 14, 1990. The subject of this study were 78 healthy mothers in puerperium period and collected data were analyzed using the SPSS PC+ Package. The process & results of the study may be summarized as follows. 1. In developing this instrument, the researcher first established a conceptual framework based on the results of previous research & exporatory survey. The scale for this instrument consisted of 74 items, covering 4 factors. 2. The content validity was obtained through meetings for discussion by two judge ment groups. As the result, 28 items were deleted from the scale. 3. The reliability of this scale was tested by Cronbach's alpha, the coefficient was.9524. 4. The construct validity was tested by known group technique. The degree of postpartum adaptation for cesarean sectian mothers was significaantly lower than for vaginal delivery mothers. 5. As a conclusion, this developed scale is a self-reporting, 31 item Likert scale, covering 4 factors; physical status and function (7 items), self-identity (9 items), family relationship (7 items), baby care activity (8 items). 6. Further studies to retest the reliability & validity are strongly recommended.

        입원아동 보호자 대상 연구논문 분석-지식체 유형을 중심으로

        본 연구는 1995년부터 2011년까지 입원아동의 보호자를 대상으로 한 국내 연구논문을 대상자 중심의 연구 개념 영역과 지식체유형을 중심으로 분석함으로써 입원아동 보호자에 대한 지식체개발 현황을 분석하고 추후 수행되어야 할 연구문제와 연구방향을 제시하는 기초 자료를 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. 분석한 결과입원아동 보호자에 대한 다양한 종류의 지식체가 개발되었으나연구 개념에서는 의료서비스에 대한 요구에 집중되고 있었다. 이에 입원아동간호에서 보호자 역할의 중요성을 감안하면 직접적인돌보기 행위나 돌보기 방법의 적절성에 관한 연구논문의 발표가격려되어져야 하겠다. 또한 처방적 지식을 생성하는 중재연구가부족하였으며, 중재유형 또한 인지적 중재가 많이 수행되고 있는것으로 나타나, 추후 입원아동 보호자에 대한 연구를 통해 아동간호의 이론적, 실무적 발전에 기여하기 위해서는 입원아동 보호자에게 발생할 수 있는 문제에 관한 연구와, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 다양한 처방적 지식을 생성하는 연구가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

        손자녀를 돌보는 조부모의 부담감과 사회적 지지

        The purposes of this research were to add to the developing knowledge base about the burden and social support of grandmothers involved with caring grandchildren, and to examine whether a significant relationship exists between their burden and social support perceived by the grandmothers. A convenience sample of 102 grandmothers was recruited from five collective apartment areas at a small city in Korea. The criteria of selection of sample were that the grandmothers were raising their grandchildren under the age of 36 months for 3 months or longer at own or gandchildren's home. The instruments used were a 15-item multidemensional burden scale and a 8-item social support scale. Both scales were self report, five point Likert type scales. The higher the score, the higher the degree of burden and social support. Data was collected by two prepared research assistants visiting subjects' home from December 10, 1998 to March 20, 1999. The collected data were analysed using mean, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient computed by SPSS software. The results were as follows. 1. In the age distribution of grandmothers, the over half of subjects(58.8%) were under 60 years old. The majority(69.6%) of subjects were married at time of data collection. 79(77.5%) of the sample reported that their perceived health status was good or over. 2. The burden of the grandmothers was not scored high, and the item means on burden scale were ranged from 2.26 to 4.19 out of 5. 'Short of private time'(4.19) had the highest score, followed by 'fatigue'(3.92), 'short of rest'(3.75), and 'short of contact with friends and neighbors'(3.62). The lowest item was 'family doesn't help me'(2.26), and followed by 'family doesn't understand me'(2.33), 'angry with family' (2.43), and 'angry while caring for grandchild'(2.60). 3. There were significant relationships between the burden and present health status(p<.01), childcaring confidence(p<.01), and motive of caring(p<.01). 4. The score of social support, was ranging from 3.61 to 4.01 out of 5. 5. The relationship between burden and social support was found to be correlated negatively. The relationship was statistically significant(γ= - .2833, p<.001). In conclusion, it was found that the burden was not high and burden of grandmothers caring grandchildren was correlated negatively to social support. Therefore, these results provide a basis for developing a nursing intervention to reduce the burden of grandmothers.

        M&A이후 통합행위에 대한 피인수기업 구성원의 지각이 조직지원인식을 매개로 성과향상활동에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 M&A에 대한 인적자원관리 관점에서 M&A이후 통합행위에 대한 피인수기업구성원의 지각이 조직지원인식과 성과향상활동에 미치는 영향과 이들 관계에 있어 조직지원인식의 매개역할을 살펴보았다. 통합행위에 대한 피인수기업 구성원의 지각은 고용안정성과 조직문화보존을 설정하였으며, 성과향상활동은 생산성향상활동을 설정하였다. 가설검증은 대기업에 인수된 피인수기업의 직원 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며 분석에는 184개의 자료를 사용하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 고용안정성과 조직문화보존은 조직지원인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직지원인식은 생산성향상활동에 긍정적인 영항을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조직지원인식이 고용안정성과 생산성향상활동간의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직문화보존과 생산성향상활동간의 관계에는 부분 매개 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. This study examines employee’s perceptions on integration practices after M&A effects on perceived organization support and performance improvement activity. The study also analyze mechanism by which the independent variables affect the performance improvement activity through the mediating effect of perceived organization support. This study establishes a research model, including two independent variables of employee’s perception on integration practices such as job security and the preservation of organization culture, the mediating variable of perceived organization support, and the dependent variable of productivity improvement activity. This study tests the research model employing 184 survey data from a local conglomerate. The conclusions made by this research are following; First of all, employee’s perception on integration practices of job security and the preservation of organization culture turns out to be statistically effective and meaningful with regard to perceived organization support. Second, this study finds perceived organization support has a positive effects on employee’s productivity improvement activity. Finally, job security affected productivity improvement activity only through perceived organization support, but perceived organization support partially mediates the relationship between the preservation of organization culture and productivity improvement activity.
