        연구논문 : 1990년대 초반의 일본 국내 역사인식논쟁과 "무라야마담화" -탈냉전기 한일관계에의 함의

        1995년 8월 15일, 전후 50주년을 계기로 발표된 ‘무라야마담화’가 ‘수상담화’에 불과함에도, 발표 후 15년이 넘은 현재까지, 각 정권에 의해 답습되어지고, 또 한국을 비롯한 아시아 이웃국의 반발을 억제하는, 국내외 ‘공통의 인식틀’로 작용하게 된 배경에 문제의식을 두면서, 1990년대 초반에 집중적으로 펼쳐진 일본 국내 역사인식 논쟁을 살펴본다. 이를 위해, 일본 정계를 구성하는 세력을 그들이 주장하는 역사인식을 기준으로 구별 지음으로써, 정당 간 논쟁뿐만 아니라, 각 정당 내 상이한 역사인식을 주장하는 세력들 간의 논쟁을 함께 분석하였다. 또한, 90년대 초반의 역사인식 논쟁 단계를, 탈냉전기 도래에 의한 역사문제의 ‘부상’, 비자민 연립정권 탄생에 의한 논쟁의 ‘심화’, 그리고 전후 50주년이라는 역사문제 ‘합의’의 과정으로 구분하면서, 해당 시기의 각 정권 별로 가시화되는 논쟁의 구도가, 역사인식 논쟁 전개에 갖는 의미 및 영향에 대해 분석하였다. The ``Murayama Statement`` has been followed by several Japanese ruling governments as the national historic perception since it was announced at the 50th anniversary of the end of the 2nd World War. To understand how the statement could have been followed, although it is just a statement not the law, this paper analyzes the arguments of historic perception in Japan in the early 1990s in three ways. At first, this paper classifies the forces who took place in the argument by their own historic perception. Secondly, this paper analyzes the argument``s compositions of each government in early 1990s to define how each composition affects the argument``s progress and conclusion. Last of all, this paper also analyzes the reaction and the intervention of Korea to Japanese arguments of historic perception, in order to analyze the statement``s implication to Korea-Japan relationship. Through above framework, this paper may overcome the limitations of earlier studies that justify the ``Murayama statement`` as a simple outgrowth of political compromise between the major political parties of Murayama Government.

      • Stable p-Type graphene doping using polymer for organic Light-emitting diodes

        Graphene has been regarded as a replacement of conventional indiumtin oxide (ITO) due to its unique electrical, mechanical and optical properties. However, due to its low work function (WF) and high sheet resistance (Rsh), WF and Rsh of graphene have to be modified for practical replacement of ITO in electrodes. Here, we developed stable graphene p-type doping process to modify the WF and Rsh. Polymer doped graphene showed 40.2 % decrease of Rsh and 1.1 eV increase of WF. Graphene doping with polymer showed superior stability under thermal and chemical treatment and it was retained without significant changes under ambient conditions. We applied the polymer doped graphene as an anode of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). OLEDs with polymer doped graphene exhibited decreased operating voltage and increased luminous efficiencies compared to the OLEDs with pristine graphene. These results indicate that polymer doped graphene is promising anode in organic opto-electronics.

        Shear bond strength between universal adhesives with various pH and dual-cured resin cements

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the compatibility of universal adhesives with two dual-cured resin cements. Eighty human molars were divided into eight groups. Tooth was embedded in self-curing acrylic resin and sectioned horizontally to exposure dentine surface. After polishing with 600-grit SiC paper, adhesives were applied. All-Bond Universal (Bisco), G-premio bond (GC), Scotch-bond universal (3M ESPE), Scotch-bond Multipurpose (3M ESPE) were used in this study. Calibra (Dentsply) as a conventional dual-curing resin cement and RelyX Ultimate (3M ESPE) as an amine free resin cement were used. The adhesives and the cements were applied according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Final specimens were cylinder (diameter 2mm, height 3mm) shape. After storing in distilled water at 37℃ for 7 days the shear bond strength (SBS) test was performed. There was no significant difference in shear bond strength between the adhesives when RelyX Ultimate was used (p>0.05). However, when Calibra used with Scotch-bond Multipurpose and All-Bond Universal were used, statistically higher SBS was observed, as compared to the groups which Calibra cements with G-premio bond and Scotch-bond universal adhesive (p<0.05) were used. Within the limitations of this study, RelyX Ultimate resin cement was compatible with universal adhesives of various pH. All-Bond Universal adhesive was compatible with a resin cement containing the tertiary amine.

      • Surface potential modification of multi-Layered graphene anode through ultraviolet ozone treatment for enhancing the hole injection properties

        To apply the graphene as an anode in organic opto-electronics, inherent low work function (WF) of graphene is serious problem due to the large energy level difference between graphene anode and overlying organic layers. This energy difference seriously disturbs hole-injection from graphene anode to organic layers. Here, we studied improved hole-injection properties of graphene anode through ultraviolet ozone (UVO) treatment. By performing the UVO treatment on surface of multi-layered graphene anode, we confirmed that sp2 hybridized chemical bonds of surface graphene layer is changed to oxygen related sp3 hybridized bonds, thereby opening the band gap of surface graphene layer. Band gap formation of surface graphene layer from UVO treatment increases surface potential of graphene anode. We confirmed that hole-injection property of graphene anode is improved by fabricating hole-only device with graphene anode. This results indicate that UVO treated graphene is promising anode in organic opto-electronics.

      • Efficient inverted polymer Light-emitting diodes using n-type doped graphene cathodes

        Conventional transparent conducting oxide (e.g. indium-tin oxide (ITO)) should be replaced for flexible electronic applications due to its brittleness. Graphene is one of the excellent candidates for its outstanding electrical, mechanical and optical properties. To apply graphene as a cathode in polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs), work function (WF) should be reduced for efficient electron injection. We demonstrated inverted PLED with n-type doped graphene doping using hydrazine and (4-(1,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)phenyl)dimethyl amine (N-DMBI). Hydrazine and N-DMBI doped graphene showed reduced WF compared to pristine graphene. WF reduction was larger in N-DMBI doped graphene than that of hydrazine doped graphene. (WF decrease of N-DMBI doped graphene: 0.45 eV, WF decrease of hydrazine doped graphene: 0.17 eV) Inverted PLEDs with n-type doped graphene cathode showed improved luminous characteristics. Especially, inverted PLEDs with N-DMBI doped graphene showed even higher luminous efficiency than that with ITO cathode. This results implies that N-DMBI doped graphene is promising cathode in organicoptoelectronics.

        계층형 구조를 기반으로 한 모니터링 시스템

        그리드 컴퓨팅과 같은 분산 시스템은 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 구성 요소들이 다양하고 복잡하며 분산 배치되어 있어 전체적인 관리가 어렵다. 그리드나 유비쿼터스처럼 환경적인 요소가 다양하며 유동적으로 변경될 가능성이 많은 시스템은 실시간으로 자원에 대한 정보를 모니터링하고 그에 따라 반응할 수 있는 메커니즘을 제공해야 한다. 모니터링 어플리케이션의 개발시 시스템 자원의 다양성은 정보를 수집하는 에이전트의 개발에 대한 비용 부담을 증가시킨다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 시스템 환경에서 추가적인 에이전트 개발의 부담을 최소화시키며 환경적인 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있고 통신 프로토콜과 사용자 질의간의 의존성을 없애주는 계층형 구조를 기반으로 구현된 모니터링 시스템을 제시한다. 본 논문의 계층형 구조는 통신, 질의 언어, 모니터링 에이전트의 분리를 통해 분산 환경에서 모니터링 시스템의 구성 및 변경을 용이하게 한다. Grid computing is the complex deployments of various hardware and software components. The Grid environment should provide a mechanism for real-time monitoring and notification. It is very important to implement a monitoring mechanism in the Grid environment. Most existing monitoring systems only focus on their own requirements. With the development of Grid computing technology, the extensible monitoring systems become more and more feasible and popular. In this paper, we describe our research and development works on M-Mon, a novel framework for the flexible and adaptive Grid monitoring system. M-Mon system focuses on some critical issues like scalability, reusability, runtime extensibility, protocol transparency and uniform data representation. To provide interoperability with other monitoring systems and to reuse legacy facilities with a minimum effort, our monitoring system has been developed using service-oriented architecture.

        Alterations in Membrane Transport Function and Cell Viability Induced by ATP Depletion in Primary Cultured Rabbit Renal Proximal Tubular Cells

        This study was undertaken to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of ATP depletion-induced membrane transport dysfunction and cell death in renal proximal tubular cells. ATP depletion was induced by incubating cells with 2.5 mM potassium cyanide (KCN)/0.1 mM iodoacetic acid (IAA), and membrane transport function and cell viability were evaluated by measuring Na+-dependent phosphate uptake and trypan blue exclusion, respectively. ATP depletion resulted in a decrease in Na+-dependent phosphate uptake and cell viability in a time-dependent manner. ATP depletion inhibited Na+-dependent phosphate uptake in cells, when treated with 2 mM ouabain, a Na+ pump-specific inhibitor, suggesting that ATP depletion impairs membrane transport functional integrity. Alterations in Na+-dependent phosphate uptake and cell viability induced by ATP depletion were prevented by the hydrogen peroxide scavenger such as catalase and the hydroxyl radical scavengers (dimethylthiourea and thiourea), and amino acids (glycine and alanine). ATP depletion caused arachidonic acid release and increased mRNA levels of cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2). The ATP depletion-dependent arachidonic acid release was inhibited by cPLA2 specific inhibitor AACOCF3. ATP depletion-induced alterations in Na+-dependent phosphate uptake and cell viability were prevented by AACOCF3. Inhibition of Na+-dependent phosphate uptake by ATP depletion was prevented by antipain and leupetin, serine/cysteine protease inhibitors, whereas ATP depletion-induced cell death was not altered by these agents. These results indicate that ATP depletion-induced alterations in membrane transport function and cell viability are due to reactive oxygen species generation and cPLA2 activation in renal proximal tubular cells. In addition, the present data suggest that serine/cysteine proteases play an important role in membrane transport dysfunction, but not cell death, induced by ATP depletion.

        Design of a Recommendation System for Improving Deep Neural Network Performance

        There have been emerging many use-cases applying recommendation systems especially in online platform. Although the performance of recommendation systems is affected by a variety of factors, selecting appropriate features is difficult since most of recommendation systems have sparse data. Conventional matrix factorization (MF) method is a basic way to handle with problems in the recommendation systems. However, the MF based scheme cannot reflect non-linearity characteristics well. As deep learning technology has been attracted widely, a deep neural network (DNN) framework based collaborative filtering (CF) was introduced to complement the non-linearity issue. However, there is still a problem related to feature embedding for use as input to the DNN. In this paper, we propose an effective method using singular value decomposition (SVD) based feature embedding for improving the DNN performance of recommendation algorithms. We evaluate the performance of recommendation systems using MovieLens dataset and show the proposed scheme outperforms the existing methods. Moreover, we analyze the performance according to the number of latent features in the proposed algorithm. We expect that the proposed scheme can be applied to the generalized recommendation systems.
