        노인의 야외활동 특성이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향: 청주시를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to examine how the characteristics of outdoor recreation of the elderly affect the quality of life. A survey response was conducted from 843 people over the age of 60 living in Cheongju using an allocation sampling method, and data from 802 of them were analyzed, excluding missing values. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the quality of life of the elderly differed according to the characteristics of outdoor recreation. Most of the types of recreation were said to be yes, and the elderly who shared outdoor recreation with someone who was not alone, the elderly who mainly did outdoor recreation in the afternoon, the elderly who did outdoor recreation in four seasons regardless of season, the elderly who did outdoor recreation on weekends, and the elderly who did outdoor recreation for more than three hours had a high quality of life. Second, as a result of analyzing whether the characteristics of outdoor recreation affect the quality of life, the elderly who mainly engage in outdoor recreation in the afternoon, the elderly who engage in outdoor recreation for physical and mental health, the elderly who engage in outdoor recreation in seasons other than spring, and the elderly who spend more time on outdoor recreation had a positive impact on the quality of life. Based on the results of this study, policy and practical suggestions for improving the quality of life of the elderly according to the characteristics of outdoor recreation were discussed. 본 연구는 노인의 야외활동 특성이 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 청주시에 거주하는 60세 이상 노인을 대상으로 할당 표집방식으로 850명으로부터 설문응답을 수행하였고, 그들중 결측값을 제외한 802명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 야외활동 특성에 따라 노인들의 삶의 질은 차이가 있었다. 가장 많이 한 활동의 유형 대부분에 예라고 응답한 노인이, 혼자가 아닌 누군가와 야외활동을 같이 하는 노인이, 주로 오후 시간에 야외활동을 하는 노인이, 야외활동을 자체즐거움과 몸과 마음의 건강을 위해서라고 응답한 노인이, 계절에 관계없이 사계절에 야외활동을 하는 노인이, 주말에 야외활동을 하는 노인이, 3시간 이상 야외활동을 하는 노인이 삶의 질이 높았다. 둘째, 야외활동 특성이 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는지 분석한 결과 야외활동을 주로 오후에 하는 노인일수록, 몸과 마음의 건강을 위해서 야외활동을 하는 노인일수록, 봄이 아닌 계절에 야외활동을 하는 노인일수록, 야외활동에 더 많은 시간을 소비하는 노인일수록 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 야외활동 특성에 따른 노인들의 삶의 질 증진 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

        억양의 기능에 따른 한국어 억양 교육 내용 고찰

        The study aims at diagnosing current state of research on Korean intonation for teaching KFL and teaching materials for both KFL teachers and learners and providing implications for teaching intonation. For this, the study, first, categorizes the functions of Korean intonation into four: grammatical function, attitudinal/affective function, discourse function, and sociolinguistic function. The study examines the previous research on interlanguage intonation of Korean, comparative studies between Korean and other languages, and the research on teaching Korean intonation in terms of the four functions. The study also analyzes four introductory textbooks on teaching pronunciation for KFL teachers and two KFL textbooks for the learners. The study, finally, reveals that disparities across the functions in both research areas and teaching materials, and proposes some implications for teaching Korean intonation to KFL learners.

        한국어 교재 대화문에 포함된 조언의 실제성 분석

        The study attempts to examine the authenticity of the advice in the KSL textbooks by comparatively analyzing the advices in the conversations of the textbooks and the advices produced by Korean Native Speakers in terms of the rate of the occurrence, the degree of the directness, and the grammar patterns as conventional indicators. For the study, 28 conversation texts in the 16 textbooks and DCT data collected from the 103 Koreans are utilized. The results of the study are as follows: First, the results of the DCT data display a comparatively high rate of occurrence in the similar contexts as the textbooks. Second, in terms of the degree of the directness, the first class is distinctively used in the textbooks, while the second class is most frequently used in DCT. Third, the list of the grammar patterns that are used for advices in the textbooks and the DCT shows a similarity in a great part. In terms of the rate of the occurrence, however, they present a lot different patterns.

        외국어 음에 대한 음성적 민감성과 음소 습득 능력에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 음성 습득 성패의 개인적 변인의 하나로 외국어 음에 대한 음성적 민감성과 음소 습득 능력과의 관계를 조사하는 것을 목적으로 삼았다. 먼저 음성적 민감성 측정을 위해 한국어를 학습한 경험이 없는 예비 학습자 37명(영어 화자 22명, 중국어 화자 16명)을 대상으로 한국어 3중 대립 파열음에 대해 음성 변별 실험을 실시하였다. 그리고 3주간의 한국어 학습 후 한국어 음소에 대한 인식 능력을 알아보기 위한 음성 범주 변별 실험을 실시하여, 개인 간 존재하는 음성적 민감성의 정도가 한국어 음소 학습 후의 한국어 음소 인식 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 조사 결과, 첫째, 음성 변별 능력의 정도에 있어 개인 간에 뚜렷한 차이가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개개인의 음성 변별 능력과 음소 인식 능력의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 음성 변별 능력과 음소 인식 능력은 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 음성 변별력 상․중․하 세 집단의 변화 추이를 관찰한 결과로는, 뚜렷한 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. The study aimed at investigating the relation between the individual’s phonetic sensitivity and the phonemic competence in terms of the perception of L2. For the study, a phonetic discrimination test on the three way stops of Korean was performed to the 22 English native speakers and 15 Chinese native speakers who had never studied Korean before with the purpose of estimating the phonetic sensitivity of the individuals. And a categorical identification test was performed to the same subjects with the experience of learning Korean language including Hangul for three weeks in order to measure the ability of acquiring the Korean phonemes. The results revealed that first, the phonetic sensitivity, the ability of phonetic discrimination differed among the subjects with no experience in Korean language but did not display a significant difference between the two different native language groups. Second, the phonetic sensitivity seemed to correlate somehow with the ability of perceiving Korean phonemes according to the individual comparison, but the study still demonstrated counterevidence by the analysis on the three groups divided by the results of discriminating phonetic contrasts.

        학습 초기의 음소 교수 순서가 지각 범주화와 음성 습득에 미치는 영향 연구 -중국어 화자의 한국어 3중 대립 폐쇄음 습득 과정을 중심으로-

        The study attempted to examine the effect of the teaching order of similar phonemes on the L2 perceptual assimilation pattern and L2 phone acquisition in terms of perception and production. The study compared the effect of teaching order of Korean three-member bundles with regard to the stops on two groups of Chinese learners of Korean on the very beginning stage: one group who learned the phonemes in regular sequence (Group A) and the other, at the same time (Group B). The results revealed that teaching order did not display an significant effect on Chinese learners' perceptual assimilation pattern even though there were some differences in the rate of categorization and goodness rating. Second, the learners who learned the three-member phonemes at the same time displayed better results in terms of perception but they did not show any difference from those who learned them gradually in producing.

        Kwon, Sungmi. 2007. Developing a Model of Analysis for Level 4 KFL Reading Textbooks -A Study Based on a Review of the Literature on Constituent Elements. The Language and Culture 3-1: 143-161. This study aims at establishing the criteria for analyzing level 4 KFL reading textbooks. To this end, the study examines the objectives of the current curricula of the college-affiliated Korean language programs and the requisites to pass level 4 of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK). The study also scrutinizes the necessary conditions for level 4 KFL reading textbooks through a review of the various literatures, and, based on this literature review, it develops a model for analyzing level 4 KFL reading textbooks. The constituents that should be considered for level 4 KFL reading books are as follows: first, in terms of the text, the text content (theme), the type of the text (genre), readability, the degree of authenticity, and the presentation style are selected as elements for analysis. Second, in terms of the reading activities and strategies, the activities that are performed in the pre-reading stage, the in-reading stage, and the after-reading stage, as well as the strategies that can be acquired through the activities in all these stages are proposed.         한국어 학습자의 감탄사 ‘어’의 억양 정보 습득 연구

The study aimed at investigating the intonation-related interlanguage features of the Korean interjection oe. The study first examined the semantic and discourse functions of oe, and investigated its intonation-related traits with three types of information that oe carries in discourse. It also examined the interlanguage aspects of Korean learners by comparing the phonetic traits of Koreans with those of Korean learners. For the study, 20 native Korean speakers, 22 upper -intermediate learners of Korean, and 18 highly advanced learners of Korean provided speech data on oe as participants. The three groups were asked to read 23 conversations that included oe in 12 functions. 1,380 speech items(60 people x 23 conversations) were collected in total, and duration and F0 patterns of oe were analyzed. The results revealed that the learner groups showed different phases depending on the type of information. First, in context marking functions in which conventional traits were not presented even in Koreans, neither showed the learner groups noticeable similarity with Koreans, nor were any manifest common features of individuals observed. In context·discourse marking functions, however, both learner groups demonstrated similar patterns as Koreans. And in discourse marking functions, while the upper-intermediate learners showed a conspicuous disparity with Koreans, the highly advanced learners exhibited high similarities.         연결어미의 종결어미적 쓰임에 나타나는 억양의 중간언어 연구

        Sungmi Kwon. 2010. A Study of Interlanguage Intonation Manifested in Non-final Endings that Behave like Final Endings. Journal of Korean Language Education 21-4: 1-23. The study aims at analysing intonation as a grammatical indicator that carries more than two meaning functions in the non-final endings that behave like final endings. The study also examines the acquisition patterns of Chinese learners of Korean on the grammatical indicating aspects of Korean intonation. For the study, two experiments were conducted on -geodeun, -neunde, -eul tende, -eulgeol for those endings that acquire new meanings when used as final endings (TypeⅠ) and -euryeogo, -aseo, -eumyeon for those endings that maintain identical meanings when used as final endings (TypeⅡ). In Experiment Ⅰ, conversation texts were recorded by 4 Korean speakers, and the discrimination test was conducted by 8 Korean native speakers. In Experiment Ⅱ, perception test was carried out on 10 Chinese learners of Korean, and data produced by them also were tested by 5 Korean judges. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: First, Korean native speakers tend to be able to discern the different meaning functions by intonation. That is, intonation performs as a grammatical marker. Second, Chinese learners of Korean, despite their long periods of residence and amounts of L2 use, present a lack of competence in their results, and, specifically, conspicuously lower accuracy in Type Ⅰ, compared to Type Ⅱ, in terms of perception and production.
