The Effect of Plasma Treatment on the Surface of Metal Fibers

In this study, we studied to apply metal fibers with excellent physical properties for the application of electronic devices using fibers. Metal fibers have the disadvantage of having a hydrophobic surface and poor interfacial adhesion. So it is difficult to apply with other materials. Therefore, we investigated the properties of metal fiber surface modification using plasma equipment to apply metal fiber with other materials.

To enhance the interfacial adhesion between the glass fiber and PTFE resin, we have modified glass fiber surface by plasma treatment under trifluoromethane(CHF$_3$) atmosphere. Several parameters, such as plasma power and treatment time in the plasma surface treatment were controlled to obtain the optimum interfacial adhesion. The highest interfacial strength, evaluated by the microdroplet method, was obtained at plasma power of 60W, treatment time of 5 minutes under the flow of CHF$_3$ at 70 sccm. In addition, corrosion resistance of the CHF$_3$ plasma treated glass/PTFE composites was investigated after immersion in the phosphoric acid for 48 hours.
Study on the Characterization of Glass Fibers by Fluorination Treatment

Industrially, glass fiber is a material mainly used for high value-added applications. However, due to its low applicability to other materials, it is difficult to apply a variety of applications. The surface of the glass fiber is hydrophobic and has poor interfacial adhesion. So, we tried to increase the interfacial adhesion of glass fibers through fluorination treatment. In this study, the hydrophobic surface of glass fiber was fluorinated using plasma equipment to improve the interfacial adhesion characteristics.
산처리에 의한 금속섬유의 표면특성 및 에폭시 수지와의 계면접착 특성에 관한 연구

In this study, the chemical changes in the fiber surface according to the acid treatment time of the metal fiber were analyzed by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) analysis and contact angle analysis. Morphological changes were observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with acid treatment time. We observed the wettability and surface energy by measuring the contact angle to investigate the effect of the surface properties of the metal fibers on the interfacial adhesion with the polymer resin. In addition, we prepared single fiber composite material specimens and measured the interfacial shear strength to investigate the potential of composite materials for wearable device applications. Consequently, the contact surface with the resin was increased owing to the increase in surface cracks and etching through the surface modification of the metal fiber, and the interfacial shear strength with the polymer was improved by making the surface hydrophilic according to the hydrophilic groups.
초, 중학생들의 수학적 신념 형성의 요인 분석 : 수학 교실의 사회적 규범을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 초ㆍ중학생들의 수학적 신념을 알아보고, 그러한 신념을 형성하는 요인들을 수학 교실의 상호작용에서 찾아보는 것이었다. 이를 위해, 초등학교 5, 6학년과 중학교 1, 2, 3학년 학생들의 수학적 신념을 질문지로 조사하였으며 각급 학교의 수학 교실에서 벌어지는 교수-학습 과정을 비디오로 촬영하여 각 교실의 사회적 규범들을 비교분석하였다. 그 결과로서, 학생들은 수학은 이미 만들어진 규칙과 용어들로 이루어졌고 그 규칙에 따라 주어진 문제를 풀어 답을 구하는 것이 수학적 활동이라고 인식하고 있었다. 한편, 이러한 신념은 각급 교실에 형성된 사회수학적 규범과 일치했으며, 특히 개념 설명과 새로운 전략 및 오류에 대한 반응과 관련된 사회수학적 규범이 학생들의 수학적 활동을 제한함으로써 그들의 신념을 결정하고 있었다.
