        게임 활용 과학 학습이 중학교 학생들의 과학 태도변화에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the game application learning 8th graders' scientific attitude, which was utilized as a strategy to improve the teaching skills and methods in the lesson of 'the history of the earth and diastrophism' The subjects of this study were 120 students of 8th grade at a middle school located in a metropolitan city in Korea. To start off with homogeneity of a group, this study recruited participants by the results of a diagnostic test taken early in the year and a mid-term examination taken at the end of April. As a result, a total 4 male classes that showed similar results on the two tests were selected and divided into two groups: one in experimental and the other in control. In addition, the top 20% students and the low 20% students were chosen for comparison of their scientific attitudes based on the results of the mid-term examination. The traditional teachings were offer ed to the control groups while the experimental lessons with the game activities performed at the stages of application and summary in teaching were offered to the experimental groups over 10 periods. Results of the pre- and post-test on the students' scientific attitude demonstrated that there was a statistical significance between the two groups, which suggested that the experimental group showed a meaningful improvement in the scientific attitude after experimental intervention lesson activities with game applications. Also, the more meaningful improvement in the scientific attitude was found in the lower group than in the higher group. It implies that lessons with the game activities motivated the students to voluntarily participate in school science learning by enhancing their interests. Therefore, it is suggested that game application learning be a new teaching-learning material that helps to encourage learners to actively participate in middle school science learning. 본 연구는 8학년 ‘지구의 역사와 지각변동’ 단원에서 수업 방법 개선을 위한 전략의 하나인 게임 활용 수업이 학습자들의 과학 태도변화에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이 연구의 대상은 광역시 소재 D 중학교 2학년 120명이다. 게임 활용 학습을 실시하기 전에 동질성을 가진 학급을 선택하기 위하여 학기 초 진단평가 결과와 4월말에 실시된 중간고사의 성적을 이용하였으며 진단평가와 중간고사 성적이 비슷한 남학생 4개 학급을 선정하여 두 학급을 실험집단으로, 남은 두 학급을 통제집단으로 구분하였다. 또한 중간고사 성적 상위 20% 학습자를 상위집단으로, 하위 20% 학습자를 하위집단으로 분류하여 비교하였다. 통제집단은 전통적인 수업이 이루어졌으며 실험집단을 대상으로 수업의 적용 및 정리 단계에 게임을 투입하여 10차시의 게임 활용 수업이 진행되었다. 이에 대한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 과학에 관련된 태도 검사를 사전사후 실시한 결과 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 수업처치 후 과학 태도변화에서 유의미한 향상이 나타났다. 또한 실험집단내의 상위집단에 비해 하위집단에서 과학 태도면에서 유의미한 향상이 나타났다. 게임 활용 수업은 학습자들의 흥미를 유발하여 학습 참여도를 높여 주었다. 이렇듯 게임 활용 학습은 학습자들의 능동적 참여 유도를 위한 새로운 교수·학습 자료로서 그 시사점이 크다.

        미소안면침의 얼굴 축소 및 피부상태 개선 효과

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Miso facial acupuncture on facial reduction and improvement of skin condition. Methods : From March to May 2012, 20 women in their twenties to forties with no facial diseases were recruited. Miso facial acupuncture was performed on the both side of their face twice a week, total seven times. The 3D face photographs of each participant were checked 5 times ; before treatment, after 1st treatment, 4th treatment, 7th treatment and 10 days from the last treatment using RS-400FL(Morpheus Co. Korea) and REAL FACE. The surface distances of the 4 lines on the face were measured using Renai MEF program. The improvement of skin condition was evaluated by water content, trans epidermal water loss(TEWL), erythema index and melanin index using MPA 5. They were checked 4 times ; before treatment, 4th treatment, 7th treatment and after 10 days from the last treatment. We analyzed data using Paired t-test(p<0.05) and Wilcoxon signed rank test(p<0.05). Results : One case was dropped out due to pain and edema after 4th treatment. The surface distances of the 4 lines on face were significantly reduced and maintained after 10 days from last treatment. Water content was significantly increased and maintained after 10 days from last treatment. TEWL was significantly decreased. Erythema index was significantly decreased from the 3rd evaluations. Melanin index was slight decreased with no significance at the 2nd evaluations. Conclusions : These results show that Miso facial acupuncture can reduce sizes of the face and improve skin condition such as water content, TEWL and erythema index except melanin index.

        방출성 요추 골절로 인한 척수손상 환자에 대해 매선요법을 가미한 한방치료를 시행한 치험례

        Objective : Traumatic lumbar burst fracture causes significant spinal cord injury. This report is intended to estimate the efficacy using oriental treatment on a patient with lumbar burst fracture and spinal cord injury. Methods : From 21th December, 2009 to 5th February, 2010, 1 female inpatient diagnosed with lumbar burst fracture and spinal cord injury was treated with general oriental medicine therapy : mae-sun therapy ; acupuncture ; moxibustion ; pharmacopuncture ; physical therapy and herbal medication. TUG, SCIMII and VAS were used for evaluation of gait disturbance and pain in both feet. Measurement of self voiding amount and remaining amount through CIC was used for evaluation of neurogenic vesical dysfunction. Results : The patient showed a certain degree of improvement in gait disturbance, pain in both feet and neurogenic vesical dysfunction through above evaluation methods. Conclusion : Oriental treatments such as mae-sun therapy, acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, pharmacopuncture therapy and herbal medication can be effective for spinal cord injury due to traumatic lumbar burst fracture.

        수학과 수행평가 도구로서 개념망 과제의 개발과 적용 가능성

        The purpose of this study is to develop concept map as a tool of performance assessment in mathematics and to conduct feasibility test of the task. I developed and applied a concept map, an assessment tool, in the form of a mathematics performance task for 1st and 2nd year middle school students. I also conducted feasibility test of the task, and at the same time sought ways to guarantee reliability of the assessment procedure. Results of the task assessment can be summarized into the following four points. First, the concept map task was found to be appropriate for an assessment of mathematics in middle school. Second, results of all 10 factors on verification of validity of the content of the task were positive with over 50%. Third reliability of teachers who conducted marking of the four concept map tasks was high, all recording over .871 in correlation number.

        삼기활력약침이 불면, 피로에 미치는 효과

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Samgi-Halleak pharmacopuncture treatment on insomnia and fatigue. Methods : This study was done with 47 nurses under shiftwork schedule. Subjects were divided into two groups ; Samgi-Halleak pharmacopuncture treated group(experimental group, N=24), normal saline treated group(control group, N=23). The procedures had been conducted to the subjects injecting 0.1~0.2mL total 1mL, 0.5~1cm deep on each acupoint 2 times per week. The acupoints were Pungji(GB20), Gyeonjeong(GB21), Sinsu(BL23). Both of groups were treated total 8 times, but control group was treated additional pharmacopuncture the same way as experimental group after 8 times normal saline treatment. The collected data were analyzed with insomnia and fatigue at baseline and post pharmacopuncture using independent samples t-test, Paired t-test, χ2-test by SPSS 18.0 Windows program. Results : After 8 times treatment, the scores of both groups showed significant improvement in insomnia and fatigue. Comparing the experimental and control group, there were more significant improvement in experimental group than control group in the scores of insomnia and fatigue. Conclusions : Samgi-Halleak pharmacopuncture can be used for effective treatment in patients with insomnia and fatigue.

        Sweet Bee Venom 약침이 뇌졸중 후 편마비 환자의 견관절 동통에 미치는 영향

        Objective : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of sweet bee venom pharmacopuncture on the post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain. Methods : 40 patients with post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain were randomly divided into 2 groups : study group(sweet bee venom pharmacopuncture treatment group, n=21) and Control group(normal saline treatment group, n=19). They were monitored for 4 weeks, followed up with visual analog scale(VAS), pain rating score(PRS), painless passive shoulder range of movement(PROM) and Fugl-Meyer Motor assessment(FMMA) at before treatment(T0), after 2 weeks(T2) and after 4 weeks(T4). Results : 1. Study group and control group showed pain decrease, but study group showed more significant effectiveness in VAS and PRS than control group. 2. Although there is no significant difference in PROM between study group and control group, both groups showed increase of PROM, and study group had some effectiveness on abduction and flexion as the treatment progresses. 3. There is no significant difference in FMMA between study group and control group. Conclusions : This study suggests that sweet bee venom pharmacopuncture has significant analgesic effect on the post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain. And it seems that sweet bee venom pharmacopuncture can be applicable to improve PROM in hemiplegia patients with stroke. Further studies based on larger population and long term follow-up are needed to confirm this suggestion.

        중학교 수학과 수행평가의 개발과 적용 효과에 관한 분석

        The purpose of this study is to define performance assessment of mathematics, to make a model of performance task of mathematics for the first grade middle school students in higher group, to examine validity and reliability of performance task and to investigate the effects on the students' achievement and attitude. It first defines performance assessment and exanmines its main features and scoring methods. Based on these, nine performance assessment tasks and scoring criteria were designed for the first grade middle school students in higher group. The validity of performance tasks were examined by experts. The loaming achievement and mathematical attitude test between two groups were performed as pre and post test. The thinking of students about performance assessment was investigated by attitude survey. The results of this study are as follows: First, the validity of the performance tasks is very high. Second, The control group. Forth, there is a difference in student's attitude about mathematics between scorer reliability was high due to the scorer training. Third, there is little difference in teaming achievement between experimental and experimental and control group in 5% meaningful levels. That is, student's of both groups attitude about mathematics comes negatives, but the width of change of negative attitude in experimental group is less than control group. In the trend of negative attitude of mathematics as grade comes higher, this results showed that performance assessment of mathematics had positive influence on attitude of mathematics. The result of survey about mathematical performance assessment experience showed that students have positive attitude to performance assessment and recognized effectiveness of the performance assessment of mathematics.
