중원 문화재 발굴 100년, 회고와 전망 ; 江西景德鎭古代制瓷手工業槪說

景德鎭은 江西省의 동북부에 자리 잡고 있다. 北宋眞宗景德元年(1004년) 景德鎭으로 개명한 후 浮梁縣에 속하게 되었다. 고고학 조사에 따르면 현재 경덕진에 보존이 비교적 양호한 가마유적은 150여기가 있다고 한다. 이들 유적은 지금의 경덕진 시내, 근교와 교외지역 약 30개의 행정촌락 혹은 이 행정촌락에 해당되는 범위안에 분포하고 있다. 경덕진 도자수공업은 오대부터 청대까지 꾸준히 이루어졌고, 시작부터 한 발 한 발 앞을 향해 발전하여 화려한 전성기를 맞았다. 이 지역의 도자수공업이 오백여년동안 독자적으로 지속될 수 있었던 것은 자연, 인문, 사회 등 여러 방면에서 가능성을 찾아볼 수 있다. 그중에서도 중요한 원인 두 가지를 들자면, 창의성에 의한 새로운 상품 개발과 국가에 의한 엄격한 관리이다. 따라서 공예기술의 꾸준한 창의성과 엄격한 관리는 경덕진 도자수공업 발전을 이끄는 중요한 원인이 되었다고 생각한다. 이처럼, 경덕진은 오대부터 청대에 걸쳐 중요한 도자기 생산지로써 또한 북송부터 도자제작 기술이 전국에서 제일의 위치에 있었고, 그 외지역의 도자수공업에 있어서도 중대한 영향을 끼쳤다. Jingdezhen is located in the northeastern part of Jiangxi. The name was changed to Jingdezhen in the 1st year of King Jinjong in Song Dynasty(1004) and it was belonged to Fuliang County. According to the archeological research, there are about 150 oven sites of which preservation was relatively good in Jingdezhen region. These relics were distributed in the scope of about 30 districts in downtown and suburban areas of current Jingdezhen city. The hand-made ceramic industry in Jingdezhen had been performed continuously from Five Dynasties to Qing Dynasty and it developed step by step and enjoyed the brilliant heydays. The hand-made ceramic industry in the region had been maintained for about 500 years owing to the factors existed in various area of science, liberal arts, society, etc. Among them, the most important two reasons for such prosperity were development of new products and strict management by the government. Persistent creativity in craft art and strict management were the main reasons to lead the development of hand-made ceramic industry in Jingdezhen. Jingdezhen was the key ceramic-production place in the period from Five Dynasties to Qing Dynasty and the ceramic technology of that region was on the top place in China beginning the Song Dynasty and it had great influence on the hand-made ceramic industry in other regions.
