이 논문은 선원법이 노동보호법으로서 선원근로자의 보호를 목적으로 제정·운영되어야 함에도 불구하고 실제로는 선원법 내에 선원근로자 보호에 역행하거나 근로기준법이 정하는 최저근로조건보다도 선원의 보호에 미흡한 내용이 포함되어 있는 등 문제가 있음에 착안하여, 선원법이 선원근로자 보호라는 본래 목적을 일관되게 실현하기 위한 방안으로서 선원근로기준법의 제정을 제안한다. 다만 선원근로기준법을 제정하기 위해서는 현행 선원법의 문제점을 파악하여 이를 개선하기 위한 방안이 함께 고려되어야 하는바, 현행 선원법상 문제점을 연혁상 문제, 이론상 문제, 선원법 개별규정상 문제(선원근로자 보호에 미흡한 현행법 개별규정의 문제) 및 선원법의 구성체계의 문제(이질적 성격의 혼재문제)로 나누어 살펴보고, 각각의 문제점을 극복하면서 선원근로자 보호라는 궁극의 목적을 실현하도록 하기 위한 바람직한 개선방안으로 선원근로기준법의 제정이 어떠한 내용과 방식으로 검토되어야 하는지에 대하여 논하였다. The Seamen Act should be published and operated for the purpose of protection of seamen as it is a labor protection law. But, it contains numerous insufficient contents to protect seamen actually. This thesis suggests the establishment of the [Labor Standard Act for Seamen] to realize consistently the original goal of the Seamen Act to protect seamen workers. However, as its premise, the standing Seamen Act will be reviewed in categories of historical, theoretical issues, problems of its structure and each clause. It will also review the content and methods of the [Labor Standard Act for Seamen] specifically to consider when it is established to realize the original goal of protecting seamen workers overcoming the issues of each category.

관정가동기법이 급성요통환자의 통증과 기능회복에 미치는 영향

Purpose: the purpose of this study was to investigate effects of mobilization combined active movement(SNAGS)on the pain and recovery of function of acute low back pain patients. Methods: The subjects were consisted of 135 patients with acute low back pain. All subjects randomly assigned to mobilization group, stretching exercise group and modality treatment group. The mobilization group received mobilization combined active movement(SNAGS) with modality treatment, exercise group received stretching exercise with modality treatment and modality treatment group received modality treatment. Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) was used to measure patient`s pain level and Patient Specific Functional Scale(PSFS) was used to measure patient`s functional disability level. Results: The results of this study were summarized as follows : 1. Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) was mobilization group showed significantly decreased more than comparison group(P<.01) and active treatment group showed significantly decreased more than passive treatment group(P<.02). 2. Patient Specific Functional Scale(PSFS) was mobilization group showed significantly increased more than comparison group(P.<01). Conclusion: It maybe suggested that mobilization combined active movement(SNAGS)is beneficial treatment for acute low back pain patient. (J Kor Soc Phys Ther 2006;18(1);41-51)

Optimal design of pedal feel simulator

The electric wedge brake (EWB) is an electro-mechanical brake actuator that shows promise for application in future brake by wire systems. Due to the system properties it has special pedal system that supplies proper pedal feel in terms of user actuating forces. The Pedal feel generally considers critical issues which cause various user complaints with respect to car manufacturing company. However, realizing proper pedal feel is fussy task according to the increasing system complexity. In this study, an optimal design approach was applied to the design of the pedal simulator to adapt target pedal feel proposed mass-produced car. More specifically, 3-step design concept with try and error fixing mechanism was used to find a proper solution that meets the goals of target data set. For the target system, the objective functions were defined as pedal effort and pedal force ratio which obtained the mounted sensors.
