기업 정보화 요인 변수의 연구 빈도에 관한 연구 : SER-M Framework을 중심으로

By reclassifying and reinterpreting the factor variables that were used in precedent studies on company informatization by research theme and perspective on them success factor, the present study tried to examine how different the factor variables are in frequency of use and by period, and how importantly they were considered by research theme and perspective on its success factor, combining them with the studies done on mechanism point of view. The key findings of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the frequency of using mechanism variables, which are reclassified based on SER-M perspective, has gradually increased since 1990s. While the frequency of using resource factors sharply increased in 1990s, it decreased from 2000s. It indicates that more studies were conducted of mechanism factors other than resource factors from the early 2000s. Second, when looking at those variables reclassified by research them, it was found that such theme as decision maker, environment, and resource factors were more used than other research themes in the studies on the measuring factors of informatization. Mechanism factors turned out most used among overall research themes. In particular, they were more frequently used in studies related to the performance of informatization. This result evidences that mechanism-related variables are more importantly considered in the studies than other factors. This study produces a practical implication: what factors companies have to manage and secure intensively to attain successful informatization. In addition, this study helps companies seeking informatization understand and take advantage of SER-M factors on the basis of knowledge in the transitional process of the factor variables used in studies by period. It is expected that CIO can use the key findings of this study in monitoring the factors by the stage of informatization.

본 사례연구는 국내 및 중국에 진출해 있는 제조 기업을 대상으로 산업 안전 실천에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. 사례연구 결과 두 기업 모두 안전에 관한 개선을 위해 다양하고 적극적인 활동을 진행하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 안전리더십 측면에서 사례 기업의 경영진은 모두 안전에 관해 매우 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있었다. 단순히 정책적인 수준을 넘어서 경영진이 솔선수범하여 안전을 첫 번째 과제로 설정하고 이를 실행할 수 있는 기반을 지속적으로 마련하기 위한 다방면의 고민을 하고 있었다. 안전분위기에 있어서는 경영 가치를 통해 안전 실천에 대한 확고한 의지를 보였으며, 이러한 안전에 관한 경영 가치는 종업원들의 안전에 대한 인식을 제고할 수 있는 기반이 되었다. 오랜 기간 안전에 대한 가치를 기업 경영의 가치와 동일한 수준으로 두고 이를 실천함으로써 기업의 전반적인 안전분위기를 상향시키기 위한 활동을 전개하고 있었다. 안전성과는 경영성과에 자연스럽게 연동되어 평가되고 있었으며, 아무리 경영에 대한 실적이 좋다하더라도 안전에 관한 성과가 저조하면 이를 인정받지 못하는 분위기가 형성되어 있었다. 이러한 안전성과는 경영진의 안전에 관한 탁월한 리더십뿐만 아니라 구성원 스스로 안전에 관한 성과를 높이고하자 하는 자각에서 비롯되었다. 산업 안전은 경영현장에서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 경영학 분야에서는 그 중요성에 비해 많은 연구가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 또한 대학의 경영학 교과목에서 조차 안전에 관한 내용을 찾아보기 어렵다. 이러한 이유로 본 교육용 사례 연구는 경영학을 접하는 교육 현장에서 안전의 중요성과 실천에 대한 의미 있는 자료로 활용될 수 있다. This case study regarding industrial safety was carried out focusing on manufacturing companies operating in Korea and China. Through the case studies on the two corporations mentioned, we found they were doing various activities to improve industrial safety level. In addition, management members of both corporations were found that they had been doing important roles for the safety in the organizations. They were practically involving safety issues on top of developing safety policies as they put safety issue as the 1st priority task in the organization. To enhance safety environment, they showed firm message for the safety improvement as management value. A firm and strong messages from management could be a foundation to improve employees’ awareness on safety issues. The management has been pursuing industrial safety issue for long time, and they put industrial safety issue as management value. Safety performance is currently evaluated as one of the KPIs. For example, in case that corporation’s performance is quite good except safety performance, the performance is not well recognized. Therefore, safety performance is being driven by excellent leadership of the management for safety matters and self-awareness of employees on the safety matters. Industrial safety is one of the most important factor in business management. In spite of, the research merely performed in business management area. And also, it is very hard to learn about industrial safety and hard to find the curriculum in the university. For these reasons, this educational case study can be used as a meaningful material in order to inspire the importance of industrial safety and practice in business management field.
