중학교 미술과에서 웹포트폴리오(Web Portfolio)를 활용한 수행평가에 대한 연구

최근 우리나라 교육평가의 동향을 보면 결과위주의 목적인 평가에서 과정을 중시하고 학습의 성취가 목적인 수행평가(遂行評價: Performance Assessment)로 전환되고 있다. 그러나 학교 현장에서 수행평가는 교사의 주당 수업시수 과다, 자료의 부족과 보관, 과제물 위주의 운영, 수행평가 결과의 객관성 결여 등의 문제점 등을 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 수행평가의 부정적인 면을 보완하기 위한 방법으로 웹포트폴리오 평가의 적용 예시를 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 웹포트폴리오 적용 예시에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 수행평가의 정의와 특징, 미술교육에서의 수행평가, 미술과에서 웹포트폴리오 평가의 필요성을 문헌을 통해 다루고, 웹포트폴리오 평가의 적용 예를 제시하였다. 결과적으로 웹포트폴리오를 활용한 수행평가는 수행 능력의 향상과 정도의 측정, 사이버 공간에서 학습자들의 토론내용이나 과제의 중간평가, 최신의 학습자료를 탐구하여 자신이 필요로 하는 정보로 가공, 만들어진 과제물의 데이터베이스화로 저장 및 보관 등이 편리하다고 할 수 있다. 그리고 그래픽, 동영상 등 다양한 매체를 과제물로 제출할 수 있으며, 자기평가나 동료평가가 게시판이나 이메일 등으로 자유롭고 편리하게 이루어질 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to introduce some applied illustrations of web portfolio assessment as a menas to complement negative aspects of the performance assessment. The matters to consider in executing performance assessment through web portfolio on the spot are as follows: A class should be carried out to post, share and debate on the web portfolio on the Web board, after producing web portfolio through which multimedia work production is possible by using computer. Web portfolio assessment needs to be undertaken side by side along with classroom teaching. The web portfolio assessment should be assessed under the same standards as those works presented and submitted in the classroom teaching. The work exhibit using the Web, debate class after school and data/material search and sharing should be carried out as complement to the classroom teaching. Students need to recognize the ad, movies and digital images which can be found in our daily life as artistic expression methods. They also should be able to select, collect and process up-to-date information on the Web as the web portfolio data/materials. Web portfolio should be considered as an useful performance assessment in art education.
