고전소설의 동요 활용과 그 의미

This paper aims at examining aspects how children’ songs were applied in classical novels and its meaning. The contents discussed in this paper are as follows: Children songs prevailed in the late period of Josun Dynasty. This trend stimulates children’ songs to be accepted in classical novels. There are two types of children’ song expressed in classical novels. The first type is to criticize the misbehavior of corrupted politicians. Writers have intentions to reveal the injustice of them through children’ songs. The second type is to criticize the ruling class. Through the children’s songs, writers express people’s voice criticizing ruling class. Writers of classical novels apply these two types of children’s songs as composition apparatus of their literary works. Thus, children’ songs in classical novels involve in the development of plot. Also, children’ songs contribute to enhance readers’ critical consciousness on the reality. As this, children’ songs in classical novels are the literary apparatus with various functions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop study on children’ songs in classical novels more comprehensively.

<조웅전>의 가상희 화소 수용과 그 의미

<조웅전>은 작품 구성을 위한 하나의 화소로 가상희 화소를 수용하고 있다. 이 화소는 공산전투에서 군주대사한 공신의 원혼을 위로할 방편으로 고려 태조대에 비롯된 가상희를 차용한 것으로, 완판본 <조웅전>에만 보인다. 이 가상희 화소는 조웅과 번왕의 대결을 그리고 있는 군담 부분에 나타나고 있는데, 고려 태조대에 팔관회에서 인형가무희 형식으로 연행된 가상희와 매우 흡사한 양상을 보여준다. 그런데 이 가상희 화소는 신숭겸과 관련된 자료와 설화를 바탕으로 이루어진 것으로 파악된다. 이러한 사실을 주목할 때 이 작품의 작자는 신숭겸에 대한 관심과 이해를 지니고 있었던 곡성 신씨 집안 인물이나 곡성 주변 사람이었을 가능성이 있다고 추정해 볼 수 있으며, 따라서 <조웅전>에 수용된 가상희 화소는 이 작품의 작자를 추적하는데 있어서 중요한 단서를 제공하는 의미 있는 요소라 하겠다. This study examined an aspect of Gasanghui motif which is accepted on <Choungcheon> and the meaning. The discussed thesis is summarized like followings. Gasanghui is a play of the dynasty of Koryo. <Choungcheon> borrowed it to compose a work and it emphasized heroic feature of Choung. It only appears in Wanpanbon <Choungcheon>. Gasanghui motif accepted on <Choungcheon> is composed of a record and a tale related to the Sin, Sung-gyeom. According to this, we can guess its author might have a concern and a comprehension for Sin, Sung-gyeom. Therefore, the people lived Gokseong where he was born deserves our attention to investigate its author. Likewise, Gasanghui motif has a large value on <Choungcheon>. In this point, we can realize that a full-scale scrutiny about it should begin.

고전소설의 광대 수용양상과 문학적 의미

이 논문은 고전소설에 수용된 광대의 양상과 거기에 담긴 문학적 의미를 고찰한 것이다. 광대는 전통사회에서 전문적으로 연희를 담당하였던 특수층의 신분이다. 이러한 광대의 형상은 고전소설 작품에서도 적지않게 나타난다. 조선후기에 이르러 광대의 활동은 분화되고 확산되었다. 그리하여 다양한 계층의 광대가 활발하게 공연하였다. 이러한 모습은 고전소설 작품에도 그대로 수용되었다. 이런 점에서, 광대들이 공연하였던 다양한 형태의 연희는 고전소설 작품에 광대를 수용하게끔 작용한 주요한 원동력이라 할 수 있다. 고전소설에 광대가 활용되면서, 그 서사기법은 점차 강화되고 확장되었다. 그리고 광대형 인물이 주변인물의 새로운 유형으로 출현하게 되었다. 또한 조선후기의 연희풍속을 사실적 또는 과장적으로 반영하면서, 광대는 작품창작에 효과적인 문학적 장치로 정착되었다. 이와 같이 고전소설의 광대 수용은 소설사적으로도 중요한 문학적 의미를 지닌다 하겠다. 따라서 고전소설에 수용된 광대에 대한 연구는 앞으로 보다 본격적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다 보아진다. This study examined the form and the literature meaning of Gwangdae accepted in the classical novels. Gwangdae is a particular status which takes charge of play professionally in traditional society. These Gwangdae could be seen in many classical novels. In the latter of Choseon, the activity of Gwangdae was divided and was spread. Therefore, various class of Gwangdae performed actively. This feature was accepted in the classical novels intactly. In this point, various form of play performed by Gwangdae can be seen as an important motivation that accepted Gwangdae in the classical novels. The application technique was gradually strengthened and extended by accepting Gwangdae in the classical novels. And Gwangdae character emerged as a new type of support characters. Also by reflecting the play custom of latter Choseon realistically and exaggeratedly, Gwangdae become established as an effective literature device in the creation of work. Likewise, the acceptance of Gwangdae in classical novels has special literature meaning in history of novel. Therefore, it is necessary that the study of Gwangdae accepted in the classical novels should be revitalized in future.

〈심청전〉의 고전소설 수용양상과 그 의미

이 논문은 〈심청전〉의 고전소설 수용양상과 거기에 담긴 의미를 고찰한 것이다. 〈심청전〉에는 다수의 고전소설이 서사구조 전반에 걸쳐 다양한 방식으로 수용되어 있다. 〈심청전〉의 고전소설 수용대목과 수용내용은 이본에 따라 차이를 보이는데, 수용대목의 확장과 수용내용의 변이는 주로 필사층에 의해 이루어졌다. 이런 점으로 보아, 〈심청전〉의 고전소설 수용이 필사층에 의해 보다 확장되고, 수용내용의 변이도 필사층이 주도하였음을 알 수 있다. 〈심청전〉에 수용된 고전소설은 중국식 전고에서 벗어난 우리식 전고로 활용되면서 전고 활용의 서민적 자주적 변화를 보여준다. 그리고 ‘아기 어르는 노래’에 수용된 〈숙향전〉 내용에는 심청과 숙향을 동일시하려는 향유층의 인식을 담고 있다. 또한 〈심청전〉에 수용된 고전소설을 통해 조선후기 고전소설의 유통실상은 물론 소설구연의 현장을 구체적으로 살펴볼 수 있다. 이와 같이, 〈심청전〉에는 다수의 고전소설이 수용되어 있으며, 이것이 지닌 의미도 적지 않다. 따라서 학계에서는 이에 대해 보다 많은 관심을 가질 필요가 있다 하겠다. This study examined acceptance aspects and the meaning of classic novels in 〈Shimcheongjeon〉. Plenty of classic novels are accepted in different ways across the narrative structure in 〈Shimcheongjeon〉 generally. The accepted part and content of classic novels in 〈Shimcheongjeon〉 show differences depending on different versions. The extension of the accepted part and the change of the accepted content are usually consisted of the class of transcription. In this sense, we can know that the acceptance of classical novels in 〈Shimcheongjeon〉 is more extended by the class of transcription and they lead the variation of acceptance contents. The classic novels in 〈Shimcheongjeon〉 show independent change of authentic precedents use, being used as Korean-style authentic precedents out of Chinese-style s. And in 〈Sukhyangjeon〉 accepted in Baby-dandling song , we can see the awareness of Readers that they tried to identify Shimcheong with Sukhyang. Also through the classic novels in 〈Shimcheongjeon〉, we can examine not only the fact of distribution but the narration of Late Joseon period in detail. Likewise, lots of classic novels are accepted in 〈Shimcheongjeon〉, and its meaning is also significant. Therefore, the academic world should be more concerned with this meaning.

판소리계 소설에 나타난 “소설 읽기”의 양상과 그 의미

이 논문은 판소리계 소설에 나타난 ‘소설 읽기’의 양상과 그것이 지닌 의미를 고찰한 것이다. 조선후기에 소설이 활발하게 유통되면서 독자층이 폭넓게 확대되었다. 이 양상은 판소리계 소설에도 그대로 반영되어, 상당수의 작품에서 작중인물들이 소설을 읽는 장면이 나타난다. 이 장면은 크게 부녀자의 소설 읽기와 중인층 남성의 소설 읽기의 두 유형으로 분류할 수 있다. 부녀자의 소설 읽기는 개인적 독서와 대중적 낭독으로 나타나며, 중인층 남성의 소설읽기는 개인적 독서와 유흥적 구연으로 나타난다. 판소리계 소설에 나타난 소설 읽기는 소설 향유층 사이에서 유통되던 조선후기의 작품 경향을 사실적으로 반영하고 있다. 또한 이 소설 읽기는 소설이 유통되던 실제 현장을 매우 충실하게 재현함으로써 자료적 가치도 지닌다. 그리고 이 장면에는 소설의 제목과 내용이 개입되기도 하는데, 이것들은 작품 내에서 다양한 문학적 효과를 만들어낸다. 이와 같이, 소설 읽기의 장면은 판소리계 소설에서 다양한 양상으로 나타날 뿐 아니라 중요한 의미도 지닌다. 따라서 이에 대한 연구가 다각도에서 시도될 필요가 있다. This study examined the aspect and the meaning of ``Reading novels`` shown in Pansori novels. In the latter of Choseon, readers were expand widely as novels were provided actively. This aspect is applied to Pansori novels in a same way. So we can see some scenes characters read novels in the lots of works. These scenes can be divided into two types, women``s reading novels and the middle class males`` reading novels. Women``s reading novels are shown as personal reading and popular recite. And the middle class males`` are presented as personal reading and entertainment narrating. ``Reading novels`` represented in Pansori novel reflect the latter Choseon``s work trend distributed among the class who enjoyed novels realistically. Also it has value as important resources by reappearing real sites of being provided novels very honestly. In these scenes, some novels`` titles or contexts were shown and these can make various literary effects in the work. Likewise, scenes of ``Reading novels`` are not only presented in Pansori novels as varied aspects, also has an important meaning. Thus we need to examine and invest a study about it from various

<동상기>의 서민적 작품 성향

This paper is aimed at showing that Dong Sang Gi is a play with the popular writing style. In order to verify this subject, Dong Sang Gi was studied by three points, the method of playwriting, realization of the subject, and the playwriter's mind. Dong Sang Gi is not based on reality wIth detailed information but on the oral tradition among the mass, so the life of late Chosun people was embodied in this work. Dong Sang Gi shows the successful ruling story by Jung Jo. In addition to this subject, it contains another subject, saving poor people. Dong Sang Gi focussed on the latter one between these bilateral subjects. Dong Sang Gi describes the living condition and emotion of the late Chosun people and this is the very evidence that the playwriter felt affection toward them and interested in them. Although the writer had the popular literary style, he failed in trying to show his will and serious consideration for looking for the solution of social reality: therefore, we can argue on the limitation of him as a playwriter of Dong Sang Gi.

고전소설에 나타난 여승의 인물 유형과 문학적 기능

This study aims at anlyzing aspects of Buddist nuns and literary functions of which they take charge in the works. There are various types of Buddist nuns in the classical novels, transcendental Buddist nun, Buddist nun of renouncing the world, secular Buddist nun and depraved Buddist nun as so on. Like this, the appearance of various Buddist nuns show us that the width of utilzing Buddist nun has been much broad in calssical novels. The Buddist nun in the classical novels displays the function that help a event to be proceeded smoothly, take charge of the function that gives rise to the reader's concern. In addition, the Buddist nun embodies a Buddist-saint's woman image in the classical novels, too. Likewise, because we can't ignore the character of Buddist nun in the classical novels, the concern about this character should must be enlarged.

고전소설에 나타난 악승의 양상과 문학적 의미

This study examined the types of interpretation of The aspect and literary function of Rouge buddhists in the classical novel. The discussed thesis is summarized like followings, The rouge buddhists in classical novels are described as some ways like a fake buddhist who enter the buddhist priesthood falsely, brutal attitude and a man of low, The typical types of buddhist which appear as those ways in classical novels are fickle buddhists, obscene buddhists and violent Buddhists. Rouge buddhists in classical novels are new character that didn`t appear before the latter period of Joseon, Also these rouge buddhists playa role as someone who stiffen a function of a type of wicked woman character, And appearance of these rouge buddhists produce the development and extension of construction technique, Likewise rouge buddhists in classical novels are major character for construction of works, So the discussion on the rouge buddhists should begin in earnest.

<심청전>에 등장하는 안씨맹인의 인물유형과 삽화의 성격

This study examined the character type of Anssimangin and inserted story appeard in <Shimcheongjeon>. Anssimangin appears as three types of a person in <Shimcheongjeon> fortune teller, a maiden and widow grandma, depends on which different version is. Depending upon these differences of character forms, the feature of Anssimangin s inserted story shows clear distinction. The characteristic of the inserted story that Anssimangin appears as a fortune teller is fortunetelling oriented. This story develops its contents based on dreamreading realization through her fortunetelling. Contrarily, the feature of maiden type story is wedding oriented. It characterized the fact Anssimangin and Shimbongsa s meeting was made by wedding procedure. The traits of widow grandma s story is desire oriented. It features personal desire realization heavily and its contents is pretty conventional.

고전소설의 <구운몽> 활용양상과 수용 의미

이 논문은 고전소설에 <구운몽>이 수용되어 활용된 양상과 거기에 담긴 문학적 의미를 고찰한 것이다. 조선후기에 <구운몽>이 폭넓게 향유되면서 이 작품은 여타의 고전소설에 적극 수용되고 다양하게 활용되었다. <구운몽>과 관련된 내용이나 인물은 고전소설 작품에 소재나 작중인물로 활용되기도 했다. 또한 <구운몽>은 고전소설에서 대화·독백 등 작중인물의 대사는 물론, 묘사·설명 같은 작중 화자의 서술에도 활용되었다. 고전소설에 수용된 <구운몽> 관련 내용에는 불교적 내용이 별로 없는 대신 세속적 애정이 많이 보이며, 팔선녀(팔부인)가 자주 등장한다. 이는 <구운몽>에 대한 향유층의 관심이 빚어낸 결과라 하겠다. 그리고 고전소설에 하층 신분의 팔선녀(팔부인)가 자주 수용되는데, 이는 조선후기 소설 향유층의 하층의식이 반영된 것으로 보아진다. 아울러 고전소설에 수용된 성진과 팔선녀는 같은 작품의 동일한 대목에서 이본에 따라 세속적으로 변모된 양상을 보이는데, 이를 통해 당대에 <구운몽>의 주인공이 세속적 존재로 변모되어 향유되었음을 알 수 있다. This study examined the practical aspect and the acceptance meaning of <Kuunmong> in the classical novels. The latter of Choseon, <Kuunmong> was enjoyed wildly and it was applied in lots of classical novels diversely. It was utilized as a character or subject material in classical novels and It was used as a dialogue of character or a description of narrator. <Kuunmong> accepted in classical novels has lots of context about love and eight angels appears a lot. Through this, we can see the view of readers at that time. We also can notice that eight angles of low-class are often accepted in classical novels and it is considered as a result of reflection of readers` awareness about low-class. Also Sungjin and eight angels indicate the aspect transformed worldly according to a different version.
