        초등학생의 가족커뮤니케이션 패턴과 여가라이프스타일이 학교행복감에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of family communication patterns and leisure lifestyles on school happiness in elementary school students. Family communication as a basis of individual socialization and leisure lifestyles as a role for psychological well-being and quality of life may be considered factors affecting elementary schoolers’happiness. A survey method was employed with 278 elementary school students’ questionnaires. The result follows. First, with correlation analyses, the conversation-oriented family communication pattern was positively correlated with the positive leisure lifestyle types such as rational planning, sensory pursuit, and relation- centered leisure lifestyle, whereas the conformity-oriented family communication pattern was positively correlated with a negative type of leisure lifestyle - leisure lethargy. Second, according to hierarchical regression analysis, both family communication patterns and leisure lifestyles showed 42.5% explanatory power of factors that determine school happiness among elementary school students. On the other hand, only the communication-orientation in the family communication but all the four sub-factors in the leisure lifestyle have significant effects on the school happiness of the elementary school students. Among the individual factors, the factor that has the greatest influence on the school happiness was the conversation-orientated family communication pattern. This study has an implication in that the joint effects of family and leisure lifestyle was examined, which have been studied relatively poorly in leisure studies. 본 연구의 목적은 국내 초등학생들의 가족커뮤니케이션 패턴과 여가라이프스타일이 학교행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 초등학생 278명의 설문 응답을 분석하였으며, 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 상관관계분석 결과 대화지향적 가족 커뮤니케이션 패턴은 긍정적 여가라이프스타일 유형인 합리적계획, 감각추구, 관계중심 여가라이프스타일과 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 순응지향적 가족 커뮤니케이션 패턴은 부정적 여가라이프스타일 유형인 여가무기력과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 가족 커뮤니케이션패턴과 여가라이프스타일은 초등학생의 학교행복감을 결정하는 요인들로 밝혀졌으며, 42.5%의 설명력을 보여주었다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 대화지향성 가족 커뮤니케이션 패턴은 학교행복감의 네 가지 하부요인 모두에게 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 합리적계획, 감각추구, 관계중심 여가라이프스타일은 학교행복감을 유의하게 증진시켰으며, 여가무기력 여가라이프스타일은 학교행복감을 유의하게 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 여가학에서 비교적 미흡하게 연구되어온 커뮤니케이션의 기능과 여가라이프스타일의 영향력을 동시에 고려하여 실증적으로 살펴보았다는 것에 그 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

        Effects of Basic Psychological Needs in Physical Education Classes on Playfulness in Elementary School Students

        No identified study has addressed the relationships between basic psychological needs in physical education classes and playfulness of elementary school students although basic psychological needs and playfulness has developmental benefits for elementary school students. Thus the purpose of this study is to explore how basic psychological needs in physical education classes influence playfulness of elementary school students. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed to five elementary schools in I city. Twenty- two incomplete questionnaires were excluded. A total of 278 questionnaires were used for data analysis. Correlations analysis revealed that every subset of playfulness and basic psychological needs are positively correlated. Multiple regression analyses revealed that relatedness positively influences every subset of playfulness while competence positively predicts humorous perspectives and a general playfulness factor. Findings indicated that it is important to foster environments where the relatedness and competence of elementary schoolers are encouraged by physical education teachers.

        초등학생 고학년의 여가라이프스타일이 스마트폰 의존도에 미치는 영향

        While smartphones are widely used as information devices in Korea, over-dependent smartphone use has become a social concern. Especially, this social concern is obvious for Korean elementary schoolers. Thus the current study was conducted to examine predictive factors of smartphone dependency associated with leisure in order to explain why some elementary schoolers are prone to excessive smartphone use, and the purpose of this study was to understand the influences of leisure lifestyles on smartphone dependency among Korean elementary schoolers. For the purpose, 278 questionnaires were collected from five elementary schools ranging fourth grade to sixth grade students, and the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Results showed that leisure lethargy lifestyle positively influenced smartphone dependency, whereas rational-planning leisure lifestyle negatively influenced smartphone dependency. Based on standard coefficients of multiple regression analysis, leisure lethargy lifestyle is the most influential factor to promote smartphone dependency. These results indicated that it is important to educate elementary schoolers positive aspects of leisure lifestyles and encourage them to plan their leisure activity in advance. In addition, elementary schoolers need to be taught that inactive leisure lifestyles can produce a variety of harmful effects on their physical and mental health as well as problematic smartphone use.

        국내 낚시터 질병 관리 실태 및 관리 방안에 대한 최초 연구

        Despite the increase in demand for recreational fishing and the importance of the recreational fishing industry, there is no research on disease management in recreational fishing place. Therefore, for the first time in Korea, we classified the facility of permitted or registered recreational fishing place (fishing place), investigated the disease management status of each facility, and prepare the control plan to prevent disease occurrence and reduce damage when it occurs. Among the 780 fishing places permitted and registered in Korea, Gyeonggi (32.8%) had the largest number of fishing places, followed by Chungbuk (14.7%), Gyeongnam (14.5%), and Chungnam (11.9%). Regarding the type of facilities in fishing places, the small scale of freshwater was the highest ratio with 46.0%, followed by seawater outdoor (18.3%), freshwater medium scale (11.0%), freshwater indoor (11.0%), freshwater large scale (9.7%) and seawater indoors (4.0%). Compared with other areas, the number of seawater outdoor fishing places in Gyeongnam was relatively high. In freshwater small and indoor fishing places, the density of fish was higher than those in large and medium scales and there is a high possibility of disease outbreak caused by live bait such as earthworm and handling stress when fish are released again after catching it. In order to reduce the possibility of introduction of pathogens into fishing places, it is necessary to release healthy fish confirmed by disease identification, and investigate risk analysis on disease transmission by live bait and bird. Therefore, these results may provide important information for preparing measures to prevent occurrence and spread of diseases in fishing places at the national level.

        Playfulness’ Influences on Leisure Lifestyle in Female High School Students

        A paucity of leisure research has addressed the relationship between playfulness and leisure lifestyle, and the purpose of this study is to understand how playfulness influences leisure lifestyle. A total of 600 questionnaires were administered and 26 incomplete questionnaires were excluded. As a result, a total of 574 questionnaires were used for data analysis. Correlations analysis showed that most subsets of leisure lifestyle and playfulness were intercorrelated. Multiple regression analyses showed that physical animation and mental spontaneity positively predicted reasonable plan leisure lifestyle, sensor pursue leisure lifestyle, while negatively predicted indifferent leisure lifestyle. Humor perspective and emotional fluidity negatively predicted work-centered leisure lifestyle and sensory pursue leisure lifestyle respectively. Findings indicated that physical animation and mental spontaneity promote positive leisure lifestyle and limit negative leisure lifestyle. Theoretical and practical implications are provided in the discussion section.

        초등학교 고학년(5-6학년)의 신체적 라이프스타일 실태 및 젠더 차이 분석

        비만의 대안적 개념으로 신체적 라이프스타일(Physically Active Lifestyle, PAL) 개념이 각광받고 있다. 최근 PAL 연구들은 신체활동 유형 혹은 강도의 구성 비율에 초점을 두고 있으며, 청소년 건강 발달을 위한 PAL 충족 기준 을 ‘일일 중-고강도 신체활동(MVPA) 60분’으로 밝히고 있다. 상대적으로, 국내 체육학 분야의 PAL 실태 분석은 소수에 불과하고, 특히 초등학교 고학년 학생을 대상으로 한 신체적 라이프스타일 실태 조사와 젠더 차이에 대한 이해는 부족하다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 초등학교 고학년(5-6학년)의 신체적 라이프스타일 특성과 권고 기준(일일 MVPA 60분) 충족 여부를 살펴보고, 이들의 젠더 차이를 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 총 500부의 International Physical Activity Questionnaire가 배부되었고, 이중 445부의 설문지가 본 연구에 이용되었다. 자료 분석을 위해, 기술분석, 빈도분석, 일원변량분석이 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 이루어졌다. 연구 결과에 의하면, 우리나라 초등생들의 신체활동은 학교영역과 여가영역에서 많은 부분 이루어지는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 교통영역과 집안일 영역은 크지 않 은 것으로 나타났다. 젠더차이는 모든 신체활동 강도(저강도, 중강도, 고강도)에서 나타났다. 또한 약 64%의 남학 생과 약 42%의 여학생이 중고강도 신체활동 권고 기준에 충족하는 것으로 나타났다. 논의에서는 이러한 차이를 심리적, 수업적, 사회·문화적 측면에서 살펴보았다. Studies have recently focused on the concept of physically active lifestyle as an alternative for an obesity-focused approach because physically active lifestyle can provide more proactive and detailed strategies to cope with fifth and sixth grade elementary school students’ inactivity. However, little research has been conducted on the physically active lifestyle of high grade Korean elementary school students, especially with regard to gender difference. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to understand the physically active lifestyle among fifth and sixth grade Korean elementary school students and to analyze gender differences. A total of 500 International Physical Activity Questionnaires were distributed, and 445 questionnaires were used for data analysis. Frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, and analysis of covariance were conducted using SPSS 18.0. Results showed that the majority of physical activity occurred in school and leisure time, and active transportation and house work areas did not largely contribute to fifth and sixth grade Korean elementary school students’ physical activity. Gender differences were found in all the areas of low, moderate, and vigorous physical activity. About 64% of male students and 42% of female students met recommended moderate vigorous physical activity standard. Identified gender differences were discussed in light of psychological, pedagogical, and social aspects of constraints to female students’ physical activity. Future research suggestions were also provided in the discussion section.

        초등학생 태권도 관여도가 학교행복감에 미치는 영향: 자신감의 매개효과

        본 연구의 목적은 태권도 관여도가 학교행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이러한 관계에 있어 자신감의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구모델 검증을 위해, 연구대상자의 일반적 특성에 관한 문항 6문항, 태권도 관여도에 관한 6문항, 자신감에 관한 9문항, 학교행복감에 관한 5문항으로 구성된 설문지를 사용하였으며, 부산 경남 지역의 초등학생 5학년, 6학년 150명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 회수된 설문지 중 불성실한 설문지 4부를 제외한 최종 146부의 설문지를 자료 분석에 활용하였다. SPSS를 활용하여, 탐색적요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석을 시행하였으며, 매개모형 검증을 위해 PROCESS Macro 분석을 활용하였다. PROCESS Macro 분석 결과, 태권도 관여도는 자신감의 하위요인인 수행 및 대인 자신감과 내면자신감을 증진시키는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 태권도 관여도는 학교행복감을 증진시키는 것으로 나타났다. 수행 및 대인 자신감은 학교행복감을 증진시키는 것으로 나타났으며, 내면자신감은 학교행복감에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 태권도 관여도와 학교행복감의 관계에 있어 수행 및 대인 자신감은 태권도 관여도와 학교행복감의 관계를 부분적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국내 초등학생에게 인기 있는 태권도 수련이 학생의 자신감 향상과 학교행복감에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있음을 실증적으로 살펴본 것에 의의가 있으며, 초등학생 대상 태권도 수련 프로그램을 구성하는 현장지도자에게 기초자료로서 가치가 있을 것이다. This study investigates the influence of Taekwondo involvement on school happiness and empirically tests the mediating role of two types of confidences in this relationship. A survey was administered to 150 participants in fifth and sixth-grade elementary school students in Busan and Gyeongnam Province, and after deleting incomplete questionnaires, 146 questionnaires were used for data analysis. Using SPSS, descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis, realibility analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted, and a mediating role of confidence between Taekwondo involvement and school happiness were examined by using PROCESS Macro analysis. This study found that Taekwondo involvement significantly enhances all sub-factors of confidence including performance/interpersonal confidence and inner confidencee. Furthermore, Taekwondo participation positively improved school happiness. While performance and interpersonal confidence were found to improve school happiness, inner confidence exhibited no significant effect. Additionally, performance and interpersonal confidence were identified as a partial mediator in the association between Taekwondo involvement and school happiness. This research holds significance in empirically demonstrating the constructive influence of Taekwondo training, a popular pursuit among South Korean elementary students, on their self-confidence and overall school happiness. The findings of this study offer meaningful basic knowledge for educational leaders tasked with designing Taekwondo training programs for elementary school students.

        국내청소년의 긍정적 여가라이프스타일이 학업성취노력에 미치는 영향: 학업적 그릿의 매개효과 분석

        Pupose The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship from positive leisure lifestyle to academic achievement efforts with academic GRIT as a mediating variable. Methods 350 adolescents completed questionnaires measuring their positive leisure lifestyle, academic GRIT, and academic achievement efforts. After omitting 25 uncompleted questionnaires, 325 completed questionnaires were used for descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and Process analysis. Result All the study variables are positively correlated each other. Hierarchical regression analysis and Process analysis showed that positive leisure lifestyle positively influences academic achievement efforts, and the relationship is fully mediated by academic GRIT. In addition, reasonable plan leisure lifestyle influences academic achievement efforts, and the relationship is fully mediated by academic GRIT. Conclusion This study is the first study to explore the relationship from leisure lifestyle and academic achievement efforts with academic GRIT as a mediating variable. The findings of this study indicates that leisure education for Korean adolescents is necessary for their happiness and academic achievement efforts. In the discussion section, practical and conceptual implications are further provided. 연구목적 이 연구의 목적은 국내청소년의 긍정적 여가라이프스타일이 학업성취노력에 미치는 영향에 있어서의 학업적그릿의 매개효과를 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법 이러한 연구목적에 따라, 350부의 설문지가 배부되었으며, 25부의 불성실한 설문지를 제외한 325부의 설문지가 분석에 활용되었다. 수거된 설문지는 기술분석, 상관관계분석, 위계적회귀분석, Macro 매개분석에 활용되었다. 결과 상관관계 분석 결과, 모든 연구변인들은 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 위계적 회귀분석과 Process 매개분석 결과, 긍정적 여가라이프스타일은 학업성취노력에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 관계에 있어 학업적 그릿이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 합리적계획 여가라이프스타일은 학업성취노력에 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 관계를 학업적 그릿이 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이 연구는 여가라이프스타일과 학업성취노력의 관계를 살핀 최초의 연구이며, 학업적 그릿은 이러한 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 발견은 국내 청소년의 행복증진과 학업증진을 위해 여가교육이 필요함을 나타낸다. 추가적인 실용적, 개념적 함의는 논의에 제시되어 있다.
