선박·해양 구조물용 YS 460 MPa 강재의 용접금속 특성에 미치는 PWHT의 영향

This paper has an aim to study the effect of PWHT(for 140min. at $600^{\circ}C$) on FCAW weld metal properties (tensile, charpy impact and CTOD value) of YS 460 MPa steels for ship and offshore structures. On the basis of these study, it was found that strength was decreased and elongation was increased by PWHT. These phenomenon resulted from the reduction of acicula ferrite volume fraction by grain growth. Also, Charpy impact and CTOD value were decreased by PWHT. These phenomenon resulted from grain growth. Because the grain boundary grown by PWHT can play a role as crack initiation site and make the crack propagate more easily. Although weld metal properties were decreased by PWHT, tensile and impact properties could meet the class societies requirements for welds of YS 460 MPa steel, but decrease of fracture toughness need to be consider seriously.

Recently, inverter control systems have attracted immense attention to increase the energy efficiency. However, such systems use repeated on/off high currents for linear operation control, instead of the prevalent step variable current control method. Hence, there arise concerns of personal and property damage, especially due to the durability, explosive characteristics, and operating speed of the fuse, which is responsible for safety and is one of the internal components using current control. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an IEC60127-4 SMD sub-miniature fuse, consisting of Ag-Cu alloys and ceramic powder for arc soothing. The IEC60127-4 SMD sub-miniature fuse has high durability and cut-off capacity, and operates safely in dangerous circumstances caused by the inverter control system.
고 Mn 오스테나이트계 스테인리스강의 기계적 성질에 미치는 가공온도의 영향

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of the deformation temperature in high manganese austenitic stainless steel. a’-martensite was formed with a specific direction by deformation. The volume fraction of the deformation induced martensite was increased by increasing the degree of deformation and decreasing the deformation temperature. With the increase in the deformation, the hardness and tensile strength were increased, while the elongation was rapidly decreased at the initial stage of the deformation, and then gradually decreased. The hardness and tensile strength were increased and the elongation was decreased with adecrease in the deformation temperature. The hardness and tensile strength were strongly controlled by the volume fraction of martensite, but the elongation was controlled by the transformation behavior of the deformation induced martensite.
25Cr-7Ni-4Mo-0.2N 슈퍼 2상 스테인리스강의 기계적 성질에 미치는 χ상의 영향

This study was carried out to investigate the precipitation behavior of χ phase and effect of χ-phase which precipitated at the initial stage of aging on mechanical properties of 25%Cr-7%Ni-4%Mo-0.2%N super duplex stainless steel. χ-phase was precipitated mainly at the interface of ferrite/austenite phases and inside of the ferrite phase at the initial stage of aging, and it was transformed into σ-phase with an increase of aging time. The ferrite phase was decomposed into new austenite(γ2)phase and σ-phase by aging treatment. The hardness and tensile strength of the initial stage of aging when χ-phase was precipitated did not changed considerably, while elongation rapidly decreased. Accordingly, it is considered that χ-phase didn`t affect the hardness and strength significantly, but it affected the elongation.
진동제어에 의한 정밀기기의 고성능화를 위한 고강도 및 고감쇠능 합금개발

The effect of the addition of Co and N and subzero treatment on tensile strength and damping capacity was investigated in Fe-Cr-Mn alloy. Austenite was transformed into martensite by cold rolling increasing the degree of cold rolling led to an increase in the volume fraction of martensite. Th damping capacity linearly increased with increasing volume fraction of ε martensite in cold rolled specimens and subzero treated specimens after cold rolling. The volume fraction of εmartensite, tensile strength and damping capacity was also increased by the addition of Co, while this treatment decreased the elongation. However, the volume fraction of ε martensite, elongation and damping capacity were reduced by the addition of N, although the tensile strength increased. Tensile strength and damping capacity werealso increased by subzero treatment, while elongation decreased.
