Modern aircraft are required to carry various external stores mounted at different locations on the wing. Sometimes the attachment of stores to an aircraft wing leads to flutter speed reduction, which is a very severe aeroelastic problem. In order to suppress structural vibration and expand the flutter boundary of the aircraft with stores, it is necessary to investigate the main problems and characteristics of them. In addition, active vibration control may be required because passive vibration isolators show limited capabilities for the various wing/store configuration. In this paper, therefore, the flutter stability to the various wing/store configurations was investigated and active vibration control of wing/store model was performed using a piezoelectric actuator.

This paper proposes a novel curved shape piezoelectric unimorph using a new fabrication method. Instead of using thermal coefficient mismatch, which has been used for conventional processes for curved shape unimorphs, we used pre-stressed substrates and the room temperature adhesion process. A difference of the mechanical strains between the substrate and the piezoelectric layer makes the final manufactured unimorph get curved. Several performance tests of the proposed unimorph actuators were accomplished and the test results showed the proposed unimorph actuator got comparable actuation capability compared with conventional curved shape actuators.
시각장애 학생들을 위한 실용음악 악기 체험 프로그램 모형 개발 및 적용

본 연구는 공립 맹학교 시각장애 학생을 대상으로 실용음악 악기 체험 프로그램 모형을 개발하고 적용하였다. 시각장애 학생들을 대상으로 진행한 체험 프로그램은 보컬, 드럼, 일렉베이스, 일렉기타, 건반으로 구성하여 교육을 실시하였다. 체험 후 개방형과 폐쇄형을 혼합한 두 가지 설문지를 배부하여 취합한 설문을 통해 결과를 제시하고, 전문가 집중 인터뷰를 진행하여 적합성을 진단하고 제안점을 모색하였다. 설문 결과 체험 프로그램에 대한 선호도, 흥미도, 만족도, 적합도에서 과반수 이상의 학생들이 긍정적인 반응을 보였고, 대다수의 시각장애 학생들이 실용음악교육을 희망한다고 응답하였다. 그러나 현재 맹학교 내 실용음악교육 부재와 사교육 또한 한계가 있기 때문에 교육이 이행되기 힘든 실정이다. 이처럼 적성 발견 및 진로 선택에 제한이 있는 시각장애 학생들에게 지속적인 실용음악 악기교육을 통해 음악을 향유하고, 진로와 직업 선택에 있어 음악적 경험과 가치를 교육차원에서 기회를 제공하고 장려할 필요가 있다. This study developed and applied a practical music instrument experience program model for students with visual impairment in public schools. The program for blind students consisted of experiencing vocals, drums, electronic bass, electronic guitar, and keyboard. After the students participated in the program, two questionnaires were distributed. These questionnaires consisted of closed and open questions. Based on these results, four experts’ intensive interviews were conducted to diagnose the suitability of this program and to provide recommendations. According to the survey results, the majority of the students responded positively in preference, interest, satisfaction, and suitability regarding the experience program and most of the visually impaired students replied that they hoped for practical music education. However, there is no practical music education in public schools and limited options are available in private education programs. Therefore, music education for blind students is difficult to implement in the curriculum. Thus, it is necessary to provide and encourage musical experience and add value to their education. It can be achieved through continuous exposure to practical musical instrument education for those blind students with limited career choices and experience opportunities.

In this study, structural deformation estimation using displacement-strain relationship is investigated. When displacements of a structure cannot be measured directly, estimation of displacements using strain data can be an alternative solution. Additionally, the deformation of the whole structure as well as the displacement at the point of interest can be estimated. Strain signals are obtained front Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG) sensors that have an excellent multiplexing ability. Some experiments were performed on two beams and a plate to which FBG sensors were attached in the laboratory. Strain signals from FBG sensors along a single strand of optical fiber were obtained through wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) method. The beams and the plate structures were subjected to various loading conditions, and deformed shapes were reconstructed from the displacement-strain transformation relationship. The results show good agreements with those measured directly from laser sensors. Moreover, the whole structural shapes of the beams and the plate were estimated using only some strain sensors.
