부산 영도 지역에서 실험토끼 사체에 모이는 하계 사체곤충상과 연속성 그리고 법의학적 유용성을 검토하였다. 3목 11과에 속한 27종이 채집 및 동정되었는데, 그중 기록된 4과 9속 12종이 기록된 파리목이 가장 높은 사체곤충상의 다양도를 나타냈고, 이어 딱정벌레목이 5과 10속 10종, 그리고 벌목이 2과 5속 5종으로 가장 낮은 종다양도를 보였다. 부패에 따른 종군의 연속성은 전형적인 양상을 보이는데, 즉 초기에는 낮에는 파리목과 개미과의 성충 그리고 밤에는 딱정벌레과의 성충이 사체에 서로 시간분할방식으로 신속하게 사체에 접근하고, 부패가 진행되면서 곤충상은 가장 풍부해지는데 파리목의 유충과 딱정벌레목의 성충이 현저히 증가되고, 그후 사체가 건조되면서 점차 곤충들이 떠나 종군의 다양성이 소멸되는 일련의 연속적 변화를 보인다. 기록된 사체곤충상 중에서는 Calliphora vicina (Robineau-Desvoidy), Lucilia illustris (Meigen), Phaenicia sericata (Meigen), C. megacephala (Fabricius), M. stabulans (Fallen) 등의 파리들이 영도 지역에서 법의지표로서의 가능성을 보였다. The saprophagous insects was investigated in association with the rabbit carrions at the Islet Youngdo in Pusan. It was focused to establish the local insect fauna on carrions in summer, to evaluate the species useful for forensic application, and to determine their succession. The insects found on rabbit carrions were identified into 27 species in 11 families belonging to 3 orders. The highest species diversity of carrion fauna was recorded in Diptera with 12 species of 9 genera and 4 families, and the second in Coleoptera with 10 species of 10 genera and 5 families. The lowest species diversity was found in Hymenoptera whose species were essentially usual but less important attendants for forensic application as wasps and ants. Succession was in the typical pattern ; the rapid invasion to carrions in sharing a time by flies and ants in day, and by beetles in dark, the notable presence of fly maggots and beetle adults during which insects diversity reaches its maximum, and then the distinct decline in insect richness and dispersal from carrions. The forensic values were insinuated largely among flies as Colliphora vicina (Robineau-Desvoidy), Lucilia illustris (Meigen), Phaenicia sericata (Meigen), Chrysomyia megacephala (Fabricius) and Muscina stabulans (Fallen).
