        <Termination of the verb ‘ᄒᆞ다'>(1896) 경어 체계 분석 연구

        The purposes of this study are to arrange the descriptions about the honorific system and examine its characteristics in a Korean language study material <Termination of the Verb ‘다'> during the modernperiod. For these purposes, the investigator divided the methods of describing the honorific system in <Termination of the Verb ‘다'> into two groups and analyzed them. In addition, based on this, the characteristics were identified by comparing them with the <辭課指南(과지남)>. For honorific expressions, <Termination of the Verb ‘다'> first used such expressions “honorific,” “respectful” and “polite”. (‘Hapsho' with “honorific”, “very respectful”; ‘Hao' with “slightly respectful,” “polite and respectful”; ‘Hage' with “least polite”; ‘Haera' with “not respectful.”) <Termination of the Verb ‘다'> then offers explanations according to the different classes of speakers in conversations. When speaker is in upper and listener is in lower, the ‘Hage' and ‘Haera' are usually used. When two are in the same, ‘Hao' and ‘Hage' are used most. When speaker is in lower and listener is in upper, usually in ‘Hapsho' and ‘Hao'. In addition, the honorific system was described in more detail and accurately than <辭課指南(과지남)>, and the degree of height was expressed in more diverse ways. <Termination of the Verb ‘다'> is a study material of huge significance in that it tries to convey the meanings of the honorific system in Korean to its learners through various expressions including “honorific,” “respectful”, “polite” and describes the honorific system according to the high and low of participants in conversations based on their hierarchical relations.

        월드뮤직의 문화번역: 한국적 월드뮤직의 전개와 성격

        World music is transnational production and consumption of local musics which transcending the barriers of language, location, and culture, through emergence of 20th-century popular music as it became intensified in the 21st century. The process of globalization of world music, through development of technology and mass media, makes possible global distribution of musics of remote places which had been difficult before. This has been strengthened by the various relationships among "dimensions of global cultural flows" (Appadurai 1996), such as weakened national boundaries and migration, diaspora, and the emergence of world-wide media. The various issues in world music need interrogation in transnational production and reception of its text and the politics of translation. Previous studies of Stokes, Swedensbug, and Meintjes point out the fact that a new kind of cultural translation takes place as a world music turned global goes beyond national and cultural boundaries and that to take a close look at the mechanism of such cultural translation. This paper, while actively perceiving the various problems and discourses dealing with the world-wide globalization process of world music, will examine how it is now taking place in Korea and attempt for a cultural translation. World music in Korea had taken root among the few enthusiasts since its appearance after 2000 and is becoming more and more visible through channels such as mass media, festivals and concerts. Interestingly, this period coincides with the emergence of intercultural discourses and globalization projects of Korean culture in Korea. This makes world music in Korea much more than mere transplantation of Western hybrid popular music into a non-Western soil. This paper will look into cultural translation of world music in Korea. This paper will thus attempt to understand the multi-layered and multi-dimensional meanings of world music as important site for cultural globalization, as well as reveal the ways in which new horizons and meanings are created within the unique time-space that is Korea. This study aims mainly to examine the history of world music in Korea, while bearing in mind the character of world music, with all its various terms in globalization, discourses, and its glocal nature which calls for cultural interpretation. World music has emerged in many different forms in Korea especially, which has entered into a multi-cultural society within the last few decades. World music, as cultural product which moves trans-nationally, is bound to be multi-faceted and multi-layered in terms of experience, consumption method, and production of meaning. Therefore it is especially important to grasp what world music is in Korea, what its intentions are, and what political forces are present in its promotion. Based on field research and primary data, this study attempts to grasp the topography of Korean world music, examine its recent history, and understand the multi-faceted politics which is behind the intersection between Korea and the outside world. First, I examined Korean social, cultural, political context after the 90s, after which I examined the process of construction and character of Korean world music, based on specific case-studies, field work, and interviews with the practitioners and mediators of world music in Korea. In other words, this paper tried to explore its multi-faceted and multi-layered nature, which consists of multiple agents with multiple purposes. World music in Korea is constructed by multiple agents in different forms and structures, which, more than anything, reflects the self-interest of Koreans in connection with the need to acquire global status and asian hegemony. Having been identified as a de-territorial and de-contextualized sub-culture, it also reflects the cultural diversity and desire of present-day Koreans.         해외학회지에 게재된 국내연구소개 : 호두까기 식도와 비효과적 식도운동 환자의 식도벽 전층에 대한 조직형태학적 연구

        호두까기 식도와 비효과적 식도운동의 병태 생리는 아직까지 불확실하다. 장내 신경총이나 평활근이 손상되면 식도 운동에 장애를 일으킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 호두까기 식도와 비효과적 식도운동이 식도 벽의 비정상적인 근육 또는 신경조직 구성과 관련된다는 가정하에 연구를 진행하였다. 대상은 위암으로 전위절제술이 예정된 환자로 수술 시행 전에 식도내압검사를 시행하였고 정상군 7명, 호두까기 식도 13명, 비효과적 식도운동 5명, 세 군으로 분류하였다. 식도 조직은 수술 후 식도벽 전층을 얻었으며 haematoxylin and eosin (H&E) 염색과 trichrome염색을 시행하였다. 염증 세포의 침윤 정도, 공포화 및 이상 소견, 윤상근층의 두께, 섬유화 정도를 관찰하였다. 근육층 비율은 근육층 두께/(점막층, 점막하조직, 근육층 두께)×100으로 계산하였고 섬유화 조직의 면적을 구하였다. 식도의 신경 조직은 protein gene product-9.5 (PGP-9.5), choline acetyltransferase (ChAT), 그리고 neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS)에 대한 면역화학염색을 시행한 후 관찰하였다. 염색 면적을 장근내 신경총과 윤상근층에서 각각 측정하였고 흥분성(ChAT)과 억제성(nNOS) 효소 염색 부위를 측정하여 EI (excitatory/inhibitory) ratio를 계산하였다. 호두까기 식도군 일부에서 림프구, plasma세포, 호산구가 장근내 신경총 주위에 침윤되어 있었다. 윤상근층의 두께와 근육층 비율은 세군간 차이가 없었다. 섬유화정도는 세 군에서 다양하게 나타났으나 중증의 myolysis, 세포간 공간의 확장, 근고유층이 섬유화 조직으로 완전히 대치된 소견 등은 비효과적 식도운동군에서만 관찰되었다. 섬유화 정도와 단위 면적당 섬유화 면적은 세군간 차이가 없었다. 신경 조직 염색 결과 윤상근층에서 nNOS염색 면적이 비효과적 식도운동군에서 의미있게 넓었으나 장근내 신경총에서는 차이가 없었다. 반대로, 장근내 신경총에서 ChAT 염색 면적이 호두까기 식도에서 넓었으나 윤상근층에서는 차이가 없었다. EI ratio는 호두까기 식도에서 장근내 신경총 및 윤상근층 모두에서 의미있게 높았다. 결론적으로 호두까기 식도에서 장근내 신경총의 흥분성 신경의 증가와, 흥분성과 억제성 신경의 불균형이 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 보인다. 또한 근병증과 윤상근층의 억제성 신경의 증가가 비효과적 식도운동의 수축력 저하에 영향을 주는 것으로 생각된다.
