        Immunosensor for human IgE detection using electrochemical redox cycling with ferrocene-mixed self-assembled monolayers modified Au electrode

        The concentration of human immunoglobulin E (IgE) in blood is an indicatorfor diagnosing an allergy. For detecting human IgE by an electrochemicalimmunosensor, redox mediator molecules were modified on a gold electrodeusing thiolated organic molecules, which can form self-assembled monolayerson the electrode surface. Ferrocene was used as a redox mediator, and the cur-rent signal was amplified via redox cycling using 4-aminophenol. Measure-ments were obtained after the immobilization of the target-captured antibody,target human IgE, biotin-conjugated secondary antibody, and avidin alkalinephosphatase in a sandwich-type immunosensor configuration. The preparedimmunosensor exhibited a limit of detection of 1 IU/mL and dynamic range of3–30 IU/mL.

      • 水稻 出穗期의 切葉 및 除穎處理가 登熟에 미치는 影響

        水稻 出穗期 이후의 葉身과 穎花가 同化器官인 source로서 그리고 受容器官인 sink로서 어떤 役割을 하고 있는지를 알기 위하여 4個의 水稻品種을 供試, 出穗期에 切葉 및 除穎處理를 몇개의 水準을 두고 實施하였다. 登熟期間 中에 주로 결정이 되는 形質을 調査한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1) 出穗期에 전체 葉面積의 40%정도 이상을 除去하면 登熟率이 減少되었으며 切葉比率이 높아질수록 登熟率은 낮아졌다. 2) 登熟粒의 千粒重은 60%정도 이상의 切葉處理區에서 減少되었으며 品種間에 切葉處理反應의 差異가 뚜렷하였다. 3) 이삭이 크고 大粒인 品種은 出穗期에 20%정도의 切葉處理에서도 穗當粒重이 減少되었으나 이삭이 작고 小粒인 品種에서는 100% 切葉區에서만 穗當粒重이 減少되었다. 4) 出穗期에 除穎處理를 한다고 해서 남아 있는 穎花의 登熟率 및 千粒重이 增大되지는 않았다. 5) 벼의 出穗期 이후에는 source인 葉身의 機能이 sink인 穎花의 機能보다 收量形成에 더 중요한 것으로 判斷되었다. This study was conducted to identify the role of leaf blades and spikelets after the heading date as the source and the sink in rice plant. Four rice varieties were planted, and five levels of leaf cutting and four levels of spikelet remove l treatments were practiced at heading date of each variety. The matured grain percentage, 1000-grain weight and grain weight per panicle at maturing stage were observed, and the results obtained would be summarized as follows: 1. Leaf cutting above 40 percent of every leaf blade at heading stage reduced the matured grain percentage, and the severer the leaf cutting was, the lower the matured grain percentage was. 2. The 1000-grain weight of matured grain was decreased by the leaf cutting above 60 percent of every leaf blade at heading stage and the 1000-grain weight response to leaf cutting was different between varieties used. 3. The grain weight per panicle was decreased by the leaf cutting above 20 percent of every leaf blade at heading date in rice varieties with the big panicle and the large grain, like Jinheung and Milyang 23. But the varieties with the smaller panicle and grain showed the decrease of grain weight per panicle only in 100 percent leaf cutting plot. 4. The matured grain percentage and the 1000-grain weight did not show any variation by all levels of spikelet removal practiced at heading stage in rice plant. 5. The function of leaf blade as the source for production was considered more important than that of spikelet as the sink for storage after the heading stage in rice plant.

      • 옥수수의 栽植密度에 관한 試驗

        This experiment was carried out to find out the relation of the variety and the planting density with the yield in the heavier fertilization of corn and the summary of it's results are as follows. 1. In the variety, the heading date of Hwang Ok was earlier than that of Nebraska 806. The top length, the top weight per plant, the top weight per 10 acre, the ear number, the ear weight, the ear length and the yield of Hwang Ok were more increased than those of Nebraska 806 in size and weight, but it's ear diameter was decreased. 2. In the planting density, there were not significantly difference in the heading date, the top length, the ear length, and the ear diameter. And there were significant decrease in the ear number, the ear weight and the yield by the close planting, but there were highly significant increase in the top weight per 10 acre. 3. There was highly significant difference in the seed weight per 10 acre between the varieties and among planting densities. It is, therefore, considered that the variety and the planting density affect the yield of corn. As mentioned above, the variety Hwang Ok is higher yield one comparing to the variety Nebraska 806 and the best method of corn planting density in 75cm×30cm.

        Purple Membrane과 β-carotene에서 산란과 파동전파에 관한 연구

        무질서 매질에서 형광, 산란과 응집의 영향은 파장과 산란된 형광세기로 나타내는데, laser induced fluorescence(LIF) 분광학에 의한 분자특성으로 나타난다. 산란매질에서 광학적 효과는 광학적 파라미터들(μs, μa, μt)에 의해 표현되고 응집은 고-액상 분리공정과 Photodynamic therapy에서 중요 하게 활용되고 있다. 따라서 입자가 서로 접근될 때 콜로이드 입자들의 상호작용을 LIF와 응집효과로 분석하였다. 우리는 레이저 광원에서 검출기까지 거리의 함수에 의해 in vitro 시료의 산란과 형광 스펙 트라를 측정하였다. 산란계수 μs는 산란체의 입자가 증가함에 크게 나타났다. 그리하여 purple membrane vesicle과 β-carotene의 혼합물의 매질에서 광원에서 검출기에 의한 거리에 대한 측정된 값 (I, δ)이 거리가 가까워짐에 따라 크게 나타났다. The influences of fluorescence, scattering, and flocculation in random media were interpreted for the scattered fluorescence intensity and wavelength, it has been studied the molecular properties by the spectroscopy of laser induced fluorescence(LIF). The effects of optical properties in scattering media have been found by the optical parameters(μs, μa, μt). Flocculation is an important step in many solid-liquid separation processes and is widely used in Photodynamic therapy. The interactions of several colloid particles can come into play which have major effect on the flocculation and LIF process. We measured scattering and fluorescence spectra of the sample in vitro as function of distance from lase source to detector. The value of scattering coefficient μs is larger by the increasing particles of scatterer. Therefore, the mixture of purple membrane vesicle and β-carotene were measured as larger values(I, δ) by means of closer distance from source to detector.

      • 開墾地에 있어서의 作物別 收益性 比較硏究

        This research has been carried out to find out the proper amount of fertilizer to the crops in the reclaimed land and to find out the kinds of economically profitable crops. Round gourd, udo, seasame increases its production as amount of fertilizer increases, but the yields of white potato was highest in twice amount of fretiliezr of a normal. Yield of seasame was expected on the large amount of fertilizer, but the income was normal application of fertilizer. Potato did not need a twice amount of fertilizer of a normally applicable fertilizer amount for increased income. Soy-bean need a twice amount of fertilizer of anormal application. The earlier round gourd was planted, the more production was expected. udo, round gourd, white potato, seasame, sweet potato, soy-bean were the order of the income raised according to the average amount of fertilizer application. The large amount of udo production can be available in accordance with the increase of consumption, while the production of round gourd increases as the amount of export increases. The mass production of white potato is available because of its large consumption in Korea.

Now a present, At the turns of New millenium age. It means to be a All the divisions of Industrial society & Design Not only the consciousness of Human beings but also thounds of object including deeply effects. Therefore, considers the change of Design that makes some affairs as a means of preparation next new ages and also the right consciousness makes the right of mesurerment of the future. In the end of these century, Most of design's seems to be a Analogic, concreatic, realistic, formal, variaty, planned, also have conflict of nationalities. But begining of the 21 century, the Image of Design change to be a digitalization, symbolization, cyberization, unformalization, polyheadralization, globalization, imagination, and would be developped to more knowledgeable, Hi-additional value, cybertic design that closely their own culture.
