        Lidocaine 전처치와 Pancuronium 의 분할투여가 안압에 미치는 효과에 관한 임상적 연구

        Many techniques have been tried to avoid the adverse effect of succinylcholine administered for endotracheal intubation especially wish the complication of increased IOP, hyperkalemia, aspirationl pneumonia and post·operative muscle pain. One of these is that the prior administration of a small, subparalyzing dose(15 ㎍/kg) of non-depolarizing muscle relaxant would shorten the onset time of an intubating dose(80 ㎍/kg) of muscle relaxant. Intra-venous lidocaine has bean effective in attenuating the reflex intra-ocular response to laryngoscopy Therefore, we determined the effectiveness of this drug regimen with and without intra venous lidocaine to attenuate the IOP, blood pressure and heart rate response to laryngos-copy and endotracheal intubation. Forty patients were divided intro two groups. Group I (n=20) administered saline 5 ml. Group Ⅱ(n=70) administered 2% preservative free lidocaine(1.5 mg/kg) as pretreatment drug. The results are as follows : 1) There was no statistically significant difference intubation condition between one and another group. Among the forer patients, Grade 1,2,3,4 are 8(20%), 19(47.5%), 13(32.5%),0, in orders. 2) In the Saline Group, IOP, BP, HR increased significantly after laryngoscopy compared wiith control value. (p$lt;0.001, P$lt;0.05/p$lt;0,001, p$lt;0.005) and maintained above control values to 4∼5 minutes later. 3) In the Lidocaine Group, IOP, BP, HR increased slightly after laryngoscopy compared with control value, but thege changes were not statistically significant, and decreased below control values in 2 min, 2min, 3 min after laryngoscopy each to each. From the above results, it is suggested that combined method of pretreatment of 2% lidofaine(1.5 mg/tg) and divided dose of pancuronium is valuable in general anesthesia of ophthalmic patient who need to attenuate the IOP.

        $3Y-ZrO_2$와 $8Y-ZrO_2$ 분말의 혼합비율에 따른 테이프 캐스트된 지르코니아 박판의 전기적 성질의 변화

        After adding 8Y-ZrO2 powders to 3Y-ZrO2 powders at ratios of 0, 33, 50, 67, and 100% by weight, the mixed yttria-stabilized zirconia specimens were fabricated into thin plate using tape~casting method and then sintered at 150$0^{\circ}C$ for 4h in air. The crystalline structure, microstructure and electrical properties of the sintered zirconia thin plates were investigated by using X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope and impedance analyser, respectively. At the temperatures higher than 75$0^{\circ}C$, the sintered thin plate with 33% 8Y-ZrO2 content shows higher mechanical properties and lower electrical resistivity than 8Y-ZrO2 thin plate which is generally used as an electrolyte for solid oxide fuel cells. This is due to the fact that the zirconia thin plates with low 8Y-ZrO2 content maintain the slope of low temperature region up to high temperatures, whereas at temperatures higher than 50$0^{\circ}C$ the slope decrease in the zirconia thin plates with high 8Y-ZrO2 content.

        AC Impedance Characteristics of the Corroded Hydrogen-Charged Zircaloy-4 Alloy

        The 250ppm hydrogen-charged Zircaloy-4 sheets, homogenized at $400^{\circ}C$ for 72hrs in vacuum, were corroded under the autoclave conditions of $350^{\circ}C$, 2350psi. The corrosion behavior of the Zircaloy-4 sheets was evaluated by measuring their weight gains with the exposure time. The electrical characteristics were investigated in the ranges of 5000~1x10\ulcornerHz using AC impedance technique in 1N $H_2$$SO_4$aqueous solution. The corrosion rate of the hydrogen charged specimen was more rapid than the normal specimen at the early stage of the corrosion. With a longer corrosion time, however, the normal specimen corroded faster than the hydrogen-charged specimen. At the same time the hydrogen pickup in the hydrogen-charged specimen was more suppressed compared with the normal specimen. Such appears to be occurred because the impedance for the movement of the hydrogen ion into the metal was higher in the hydrogen-charged specimen compared to normal specimen at the interface between the oxide layer and the uncorroded metal. Thus the corrosion rate of the hydrogen-charged specimen was likely to be decreased with a longer corrosion time.

        The Rise of a Female Liberal Subject in Tess of the d’Urbervilles

        I contend that Hardy seeks to redefine the concept of liberal individuality of Victorian England through Tess in Tess of the d’Urbervilles. The paper investigates how Hardy explores an alternative way of pursuing individuality by focusing on the narrator’s fluctuating focalization on Tess. Critically engaging with the notions of mid-Victorian liberalism suggested by Lauren Goodlad in Victorian Literature and the Victorian State (2003) and Elaine Hadley in Living Liberalism: Practical Citizenship in Mid-Victorian Britain (2010), I ground the novel’s reformulation of a liberal subject in Tess’s solitary movements in the desolate field, which are continuously associated with her labor. Different from Hadley who locates mid-Victorian liberal individualism in abstracted middle-class male bodies, their elitist pursuit of the liberal arts, and the reproduction of the abstract citizenship through the system of the ballot, Hardy reformulates Victorian liberal individualism to include working-class women like Tess. I argue that Hardy explores the feasibility of liberal individualism through the working-class woman’s critical investigation of her socially outcast status and her various walking activities mainly associated with her labor in the open field. In particular, I closely investigate the ways in which the male narrator invests Tess’s perspectives with great importance throughout the narrative. The ways in which Tess’s perspectives are delivered in the narrative are often divergent and unconventional and yet will finally establish a basis of a new female liberal subject. I focus on the intricately designed moments of internal focalization on Tess, particularly around the novel’s uses of the loaded term, “misery.”

        Brookite TiO<sub>2</sub> 코팅용 졸의 제조 및 광촉매 효과

        Transparent TiO$_{2}$ sols were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis to heat Ti precursor solutions, from Ti hydroxides obtained with neutralizing aqueous TiOCl$_{2}$ solutions having various concentrations of NaCI by aqueous NaOH solution, in the autoclave at 120$^{\circ}C$ The photocatalytic abilities of glass beads coated with the sol for gaseous benzene were evaluated. As a result, it was found that due to the increase of brookite phase in TiO$_{2}$ by controlling the concentration of Na ion the optical absorption of TiO$_{2}$ increases toward long wavelength but that in the area of short wavelength becomes relatively low and consequently the photocatalytic performance of TiO$_{2}$ thin film for benzene gas rather decreases, compared to that of composite film of anatase and brookite phases. These results suggest that in order for coated TiO$_{2}$ thin film to have high dissociation performance for benzene gas it is effective to form anatase and brookite phases compositely in TiO$_{2}$.

        20mol% Gd-doped 소결체 CeO$_2$ 전해질의 전기적 특성분석

        20mol% Gd-doped CeO2 ultrafine powders as a promising electrolyte for the low temperature solid ox-ide fuel cells were synthesized with particle sizes of 15-20 nm using glycine nitrate process(GNP) fol-lowed by sintering their pellets at 150$0^{\circ}C$ for various times in air and then the electrical properties of the sintered pellets were investigated. The sintering behaviors and electrical properties for the sintered 20 sintered mol% Gd-doped CeO2 pellets were analyzed using dilatometer and SEM and AC two-terminal impedance technique respectively. As the heating temperature increased the synthesized powder had the sintering behaviors to show the start of the significant shrink at temperature of about $700^{\circ}C$ and to show the end of the shrink at the temperature of about 147$0^{\circ}C$. When the pellets were sintered with the vaious times at 150$0^{\circ}C$ the temperatuer which the shrink had been already completed the grain sizes in the sintered 20 mol% Gd-doped GeO2 pellets increased with the increase of the sintering time but their electrical resis-tivities showed the minimum value at the sintering time of 10h. It is due that the pellet sintered for 10h had the minimum activation energy fior the electtrical conduction. Thus it is thought that the decrease of the activation energy with the increase of the sintering time to 10h is induced by the enhanced mi-crostructure like the decrease of pore amount and the grain growth and its increase with the sintering times more than 10h is induced by the increase of the amounts of the impurities such as Mg. Al and Si from the sintering atmosphere.

        SF<sub>6</sub> 압력에 따른 결함별 부분 방전 펄스의 분포 분석

        Electrode systems: a protrusion on conductor (POC), a protrusion on enclosure (POE), a crack in epoxy plate and a free particle (FP) were fabricated to simulate insulation defects in a gas insulated switchgear (GIS). $SF_6$ gas was filled in the electrode systems by 3 bar and/or 5 bar, respectively. Partial discharge (PD) pulses were detected through a $50{\Omega}$ non-inductive resistor. A calibration test was carried out according to IEC 60270, and the sensitivity was 0.25 pC/mV. PD pulses were distributed in the phase of $50^{\circ}{\sim}135^{\circ}$ and over 95% of them existed in the phase of $55^{\circ}{\sim}120^{\circ}$ for the POC. PD pulses were distributed in the phase of $230^{\circ}{\sim}310^{\circ}$ and over 90% of them existed in phase of $220^{\circ}{\sim}300^{\circ}$ for the POE. PD pulses occurred in the phase of $40^{\circ}{\sim}60^{\circ}$ and $220^{\circ}{\sim}300^{\circ}$ for the crack, and pulse counts were 25% higher in negative polarity than in positive polarity. PD pulses were distributed in every phase unlike to other three electrode systems and the peak magnitude was measured at $118^{\circ}$ and $260^{\circ}$ for the FP. As described above, PD pulses were observed in positive polarity for the POC, in negative one for the POE, in both one for the crack and the FP. In conclusion, it is expected that the identification rate of defect type can be improved by considering the polarity ratio of PD pulses on the PRPDA method.
