A method was developed for the determination of trace elements in seawater by precipitate flotation preconcentration and subsequent flame atomic absorption detection. In order to quantitatively coprecipitate trace ions such as Cd(II), CuI(II), Fe(III), Mn(II), Pb(II) and Pd(II), 2.0 ml of 1.0M cerium(III) solution was added to 1.0l of seawater and the pH was adjusted to 9.5 with 5.0 M sodium hydroxide solution while stirring with a magnetic stirrer. The precipitate was floated with the aid of surfactant solution (1.0 ml of 0.3% sodium oleate) by bubbling nitrogen gas through a porous (No. 4) fritted glass disk. The floats was collected in a small Erlenmeyer flask by suction. The washed precipitate was dissolved in 8.0 M nitric acid and marked with deionized water in the volumetric flask of 10.0 ml. The analyte was determined by measuring the atomic absorbances in 100-fold concentrated solution. Above all analytes in Kangnung (East Sea) and Kanghwado (West Sea) sea waters were found to be under the detection limit of this method. The recoveries of over 92% for all analytes spiked into seawater samples showed that this method was applicable to the analysis of real seawater.

대형 용접구조물의 스마트제조를 위한 변형예측 알고리즘의 활용

In this study, an algorithm for predicting welding deformation in the fabrication of large structures was proposed. The major factors affecting the structural deformation were identified and the relationship between them was derived through a bead-on-plate welding experiment. Constraint and offset were introduced to flexibly adapt to environmental changes as well as to reflect actual structures. The amount of angular distortion and its trend during multipass welding can be estimated from the measured deformation and the deposition data from the smart welding machine. Also, the final deformation is diagnosed, and a new welding sequence can be presented if the estimation exceeds the reference value. The identified factors and proposed method will be a first step toward smart manufacturing.

Buckling-Restrained Braces(BRB) is designed to prevent buckling of core when a great amount of a compression force is placed on the brace and make large inelastic deformation. In this study, a sub-assembly test has been conducted by using Buckling-Restrained Braces, which are known as good performance from the previous uni-axial experiments. BRB were diagonally installed in the frame and designed which vary the type of connections and the existence of infilled concrete. The frame was enforced horizontally by an actuator with the loading protocol recommended by the AISC. The test results showed that the compression capacity of BRB infilled concrete was raised about 10% on BRB without infilled concrete and all specimens showed the similar performance in the aspect of total energy dissipation and cumulative plastic ductility.
비행청소년의 가정요인이 재범에 미치는 영향 연구 - 소년원 임시퇴원생을 중심으로 -

Over the past few years, teenagers who commit terrible and staggering misconduct have been increasing, and urges for countermeasures against delinquent youth are intensifying as well. Therefore, this study particularly focuses on family factor as a recidivism factor for delinquent youth based on long field experience. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose an effective way to prevent recidivism by reinforcing family relations and domestic functions based on the research analysis of delinquent youth domestic factors and its correlation with recidivism. Based on previous studies, demographic factors, risk factors, delinquency factors, and family factors were set as influencing factors affecting recidivism of delinquent youth and used as independent variables. As a result of investigating whether or not delinquent juveniles, which are the dependent variable of this study, re-offense, more than half of the total 163 (86) (52.8%) were identified as re-offending during the probation period. As a result of logistic regression analysis, it can be understood that the research model used in this study is statistically significant and constitutes an appropriate model (total model F=66.330*). Finally, based on the results of this study, five policy suggestions such as restoring family relations through coordination of the juvenile education curriculum and miniaturization of facilities, revitalizing various programs to reinforce family functions, development of a recidivism prevention program that reflects the specificity of male and female delinquent youth, special measures for delinquent youth with emotional wounds such as self-harm experience and family criminal history, and continuing linkages with delinquent youth and community resources, are presented in order to prevent delinquent youth’s recidivism.
