As most of today’s automatic transmissions in passenger cars adopt a electro-hydraulic control system, the role of electronically controlled solenoid valves occupies an important position and it is essential to predict the transient characteristics of the solenoid valves in order to design and evaluate the performance of the hydraulic control system. However. In general. Both the magnetic and electrical parameters of the solenoid system are hardly known and it is not easy to model this section with moderate complexity. This paper presents a dynamic modeling technique of a proportional control solenoid valve(PCSV) for an automatic transmission in terms of system identification theory. We can find that this approach make a good result to represent the performance of PCSV.<br/>

In an attempt to investigate the effect of glucan, i.e., RES stimulating agent, on the repair process of skin wound, we made simple skin wound in mice and then glucan was given intraperitoneally at dose of 10mg until taking specimen. The specimen were taken from wound area at various intervals and histological and enzym histochemical stains were done for the light microscopic examination. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The glucan-treated wound showed more proliferation of macrophages and granulation tissue with decreased acute inflammatory exudates in the early than did control wound. 2. The glucan-treated wound showed more increase of acid and alkaline phosphatase and α-naphthyl acetate esterase activities than did control wound, but no changes in ATPase activities. From these results, it may be concluded that glucan promotes repair process of skin wound.

TThe cleft lip is the most common congenital craniofacial anomaly, the anatomical difference in operated patient and normal person by several authors. Authors deserved the ultrastructural changes in secondary cleft lip patients treated with primary cheiloplasty. We obtained eighteen muscle specimens from the upper lip of 18 patients during the time of secondary lip revision. It was stained with Hematoxylin Eosin, Epon-toluidine blue and histochemical method, and examined by light microscope. Also it was examined by electron microscope with various stain and several steps. We found the extensive collagenous fibrosis with various atrophy of muscles by light microscope, and the myofibroblast with rER, mitochondria, and abundant intermediate filaments by electron microscope in 14 cases. We also found muscular atrophy characterized with variable size of muscle fibers by light microscope, and marked variation of muscle fiber size with sarcoplasmic vacuoles, myocytolysis and internal migration of nuclei by electron microscope in 4 cases. In conclusion, in the most cases the major part of the tissues were surrounded by progressive fibrosis, the mild muscular atrophy was seen at some cases.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the sequential changes of enzyme activities in severely burned skin of rat at intervals of 2 hours, 8 hours, 1 day and 3 days by histochemical methods. The results obtained were as follows. 1. Acid phosphatase activity was found to be transient increase in dermis and mild decrease in epidermis, hair follicle and sebaceous gland at 2 hour after burning. The activity was not seen in skin after 8 hours. 2. Alkaline phosphatase was found to be decreased in blood vessel and dermal papillae of hair follicle at 2 hour after burning and then was progressively decreased after 8 hours. 3.α-naphtyl acetate esterase activity was found to be decreased in epidermis, dermis and hair follicle at 2 hours after burning and was not seen in skin after 8 hours. There was no significant changes in sebaceous gland after burning.
백서 피부 화상의 치유과정중 Fibronectin의 분포에 관한 연구

The distribution of fibronectin during wound healing of severely burned skin was studied by avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex(ABC) technique. Severely burned wound was made in the skin on the back of rats by immersion in 100℃water for 3 seconds and specimens were taken at various intervals. Historical examinations were done with H & E. silver impregnation, Masson trichrome, and van Gieson stains. The distribution of fibronectin was observed by using avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex(ABC) in immunoperoxidase technique. The results were as follows; 1. Fibronectin was demonstrated as fibrinous network in acute and chronic inflammatory reactions. As the granulation tissue developed, the amount of fibronectin was gradually increased and was seen in extracellular matrix. With maturation of granulation tissue, the amount of fibronectin was markedly reduced. 2. The amount of fibronectin was markedly increased in the regenerative epidermis overlying granualtion tissue containing abundant fibronectin.
