全州近郊에서 栽培되고있는 石倉파(Allium fidtulosum L.)와 泉州黃양파(Allium cepa L.)의 核型分析

The karyotype of cultivated species of Allium fistulosum L. and Allium cepa L. were analysed. In the somatic chromosomes of A. fistulosum L. were consisted 4 pairs metacentric, 4 pairs submetacentric and one pair of the latter had satillite. The Karyotype is ; K=16=2A^m+2B^sm+2C^m+2D^sm_sat+2E^m+2F^sm+2G^sm+2H^m The somatic chromosome of A. cepa L. however, consists of 3 pairs of metacentric, 4 pairs of submetacentric, 1 pair of the latter had satillite. The Karyotype is ; K=16=2A^sm+2B^sm+2C^m+2D^m+2E^sm+2F^st_sat+2G^m+2H^sm In both species, no secondary constriction was observed. Compared with the chromosomes of A. fistulosum L., those of A. cepa L. were longer in total and more monotoneous in shape.

木蓮(Magnolia kobushi Mayr)의 低溫發熱에 關한 硏究

In order to investigate the cold hardness of Magnolia kobushi Mayr, high temperature exotherm (HTE) and low temperature exotherm (LTE) were measured at twig, leaf bud and flower bud. At the twig xylem HTE was -9℃ and LTE -34℃; in the leaf bud HTE -6℃ and LET -46℃; and in the flower bud HTE -5.6℃ and LTE -52℃. Thus Magnolia kobushi Mayr was proved to be highly cold-resistent. It was supposed that the lower LTE at the buds than that at the twig xylem owed to the low water content as well as the well developed bud scales.

산철쭉과 영산홍의 과냉법 (過冷法) 능력과 수분함량에 관한 온도 영향 및 해부학적 특성

Twigs bearing floral buds of Rhododendron yedoense var. poukhanense(Ryp) and R. simsii(Rs), hardy species in Korea, were used to investigate the cold hardiness in relation to the developmental and anatomical characteristics, and the changes of water content. In floral buds of both species, the reproductive organs, pistils and stamens, matured within the bud scales in early October to prepare for a cold acclimation. The ray parenchymatous areas occupied in xylem were 41% in Ryp 38% Rs. As the storage temperature is raised from 2 to 17℃, water content increased more highly in Rs than in Ryp. Exotherm temperature of floral bud in Ryp was generally lower than that in Rs. The result supports that the higher cold-hardiness is achieved owing to the earlier maturation of floral buds, to the larger area of ray parenchyma in xylem, and to the lesser increase of water content as the storage temperature is raised.

保育園兒의 體位發達에 關한 硏究

1. As the children become of an age, it is expected that it is the chief reason of the diet problems that the development of the physical standard is good, in order of the nursery school children, home children and joint lodging children. Therefore in order that we increase the national power by means of the development of physical standard of all the people, and we keep higher health, it is desired that the authorities concerned or the managers of nursery schools must pay attention to dietary lives of the nursery school children. 2. Though the personal experditure is put in a little more, as a policy of decreasing the young boys and girls' criminal genesis rate, and of clearing up their frustration, it is requested urgently that the recreation facilities of the nursery school must completely be equipped and the teachers of the nursery school must be increased. 3. In our families the parents of each family will have to improve their children's dietary lives with nutritious foods no less than the sports middle school principal or the manager of nursery school. On the other hand, it is required, for references, that we must reexamine the menu of joint boarding students so as to be more good one. To conclude, exceptiong the joint boarding students, in order to improve the children in our families, especially the nursery school children's health, and physical standard, to plan the increasing of the national power, to prevent juvenile crime, and to construct a bright welfare society, first of all it is expected that we must achieve, it is source, increasing of the gross national income urgently.

자작나무科의 導管形態에 依한 分類

To determine the degrees of specialization and intergeneric relationship within the Korean Betulaceae a comparative anatomy was performed with 3-4 year-old parts of growth rings of the stem wood from a total of 18 species and 7 varieties of the family. Some specialized anatomical characters suggests the family to be more or less advanced. Tribe Betuleae possessing scalariform perforation plates exclusively, steeper angle of end wall and alternate pittings, was thought to be more primitive than tribe Coryleae. Among the Betuleae, Alnus exhibited to be more primitive than Betula on the bases of the number of bars on the perforation plate, the angle of end wall and the pitting pattern. Among the coryleae, it was thought that Corylus having a scalariform perforation plate exclusively, and a intermediate number of bars was the most primitive, whereas both Carpinus and Ostrya having simple perforation plates and homogeneous I ray were the most advanced.

韓國産 자작나무科의 系統分類學的 硏究(序論)

The present paper is an introduction to the whole project of "The systematic studies on Korean Betulaceae". Three studies under the project were performed this year and presented in this report : a review of taxonomic literatures and the construction of distribution maps by Woo-Tchul Lee, pollen morphology by Sang-Tae Lee and Moo-Yeol Kim, and wood anatomy by Woong-Young Soh and Kwan-Bae Jeon.

營養狀態가 Hb 形成에 미치는 影響

(1) 保育園經營主는 園兒들의 體力이나 健康面을 考慮해서 營養管理에 劉期的變化를 加해야 하며 行政當局도 量的인 保育園經營을 止揚하고 質的面에 置中해야 할 것으로 생각된다. 外援이나 內資支援을 받는 保育園이 合理的으로 運營의 妙를 期한다면 體育中學水準에는 未及일망정 一般家庭兒의 生活水準을 오히려 능가할 수도 있을 것으로 예측한다.<br/> (2) 體育中學校生의 1 日 平均 Cal 攝取量은 年齡(體重)과 運動量에 比하여 過食을 하는 形便이 아닌가 憂慮된다. 따라서 營養士에게는 營養의 供給量에 對하여 새로운 檢討가 要望된다.<br/> (3) 寄生蟲感染如否는 考慮하지 않았다. 그것은 體育中學校에서 一定한 食單(menu)으로 生活(1~2年)이 繼續되는 學生들의 Hb 量이 많기 때문에 Hb量이 적은 것은 寄生蟲과는 無關하고 오직 營養物質에 基因한다고 豫測되기 때문이다. 더우기 어린 學生이면서 上流生活圈에 屬하는 梨花女大의 大學生들과 같은 수준의 Hb 量을 保持하므로 더욱 그 信憑度가 높다고 보아도 좋을 것이다. 따라서 一般家庭兒와 園兒들의 健康狀態를 正常的으로 維持시키면서 國力을 增强시키려면 保育園經營主나 한 가정의 責任者는 오직 營養管理에 細心한 注意를 가져야 하고 行政當局도 保育園運營面에 보다 깊은 配慮가 있어야 한다고 要望된다. 1. A nursery school principal must think over physical stamina and health of his children, and he must make an epoch making changes to nutrition control.<br/> I think that authorities concerned must give weight to quality before quantity to manage the nursery school. If the nursery school principal who has aid received from abroad and his native country must manage the nursery school rationally.<br/> It is expected that, though the nutrition level is below the level of sports middle school children, it is above the common level of home children.<br/> 2. I fear that the calories which the pupils of sports middle school assimilate a day on the av erage is apt to be more calories as compared with other pupils of their age(weight). This is also true for their level of activity.<br/> It is required that the nutritionist must recheck the quantity of the calorie provision.<br/> 3. I took no thought about infection with parasites in this thesis. It is because that the pupils of sports middle school have much Hb (hemoglobin), because they have had meals with a settled menu for a year or two.<br/> So, that it is expected that it is caused only by the nutritious foods regardless of parasites and that they have little Hb(hemoglobin). Besides though they are little pupils, because they have much Hb. Of taking the level with upper life classes of the the Ewha Girls University students, it will be more reliable.<br/> Therefore as we maintain the states of health of the common home children and nursery school children normally, to increase the national power, the managers of nursery schools or the heads of families must pay attention to the control of nutrition, and authorities concerned must pay attention to the control of nutrition, and authorities concerned must take the trouble much more to the management of nursery school.<br/> 1. We have been undertaking the occupations of the family plannings for more ten years. But we have still failed to realize the anticipated result in the farm villages.<br/> Though it is not in this district, I think that we must make efforts in these occupations urgently, and control increases in population, decrease the consumptions of food and salt, and contribute to the increasing of the general income.<br/> 2. There is a tendency to take a little more salted foods in the cities than in the farm villages. But we are apt to take more salt in quantity(20g) to be taken in a day both in the cities and in the farm villages than it is necessary to us.<br/> So it is required that we must grope for a means of increasing of the general income as early as possible, and that we must improve our diet to be got rid of dietary life in importance. And so we have to study thoroughly the side effect caused due to too much salt to be taken in, if it is discovered, we must spour on a means of sweep of it.
