From these contents, we can see the political aims and means of the Japanese government to hold the Yang Wen Hui, which is another academic value of this book in historical materials. In addition, Te-kung Wu recorded the transportation tools and routes, as well as the geographical landscape and cultural customs along the way during his trip and return trip to Yang Wen Hui, which helps readers to understand the folk scenery and traffic situation in Taiwan during the Japanese rule, and is of geological help and contribution.
