Values about sport-for-all have been generally associated with the individual dimension such as health, leisure, and quality of life. This paper attempts to conceptualize the notion of sport-for-all and its rationality to expand the dominant individualistic approach to consider the dimension of social development. To this end, this paper firstly points out conceptual limits revealed by a critical discussion of the individualistic approach to sport-for-all values, and secondly explores and conceptualizes the notion of social quality and its relevance to the discussion of sport-for-all values for bringing about social development. 최근까지 생활체육의 가치는 건강, 여가선용, 삶의 질 향상 등 개인적 차원에서 논의되어 왔다. 본고에서는 그간 개인적 차원에만 치중되어 온 생활체육 진흥의 당위성이나 가치에 대한 논의를 확장하여 사회발전의 차원에서 개념화를 시도하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 첫째, 개인적 차원의 생활체육 가치 논점이 지니는 한계를 스포츠 발전 모델의 맥락에서 지적하고 둘째, 사회발전을 위한 생활체육의 개념화를 사회의 질(social quality) 차원에서 그 구성요소 및 역할을 분석한다.
Synthetic MR 기법을 이용한 금속 인공물 감소 효과 평가

This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of a synthetic MR technique in reducing metal artifacts. In the experiment, the in-plane and through-plane images were acquired by applying a synthetic MR technique and a high-speed spin echo technique to a phantom manufactured with screw for spinal surgery. The area of the metal artifact was compared. The metal artifacts were measured by dividing the signal-loss and the signal pile-up areas, and the area of the final artifact was calculated through the sum of the two. As a result, the metal artifacts were relatively reduced when the synthetic MR techniques were applied to both in-plane and through-plane. Comparing by sequence, the in-plane T1 images decreased by 23.45%, T2 images by 20.85%, PD images by 19.67%, and FLAIR images by 22.12%. Also, in the case of the through-plane, the T1 image decreased by 62.95%, the T2 image decreased by 73.93%, the PD image decreased by 74.68%, and the FLAIR image decreased by 66.43%. The cause of this result is that when the synthetic MR technique is applied, the distortion is due to the signal pile-up and does not occur and the size of the entire metal artifact is reduced. Therefore, synthetic MR technique can very effectively reduce metal artifacts, which can help to increase the diagnostic value of images. 본 연구는 금속 인공물을 감소시키는 데 있어 synthetic MR 기법의 효과를 평가해보고자 하였다. 실험은 척추 수술용 나사로 제작된 팬텀을 대상으로 synthetic MR 기법과 고속 스핀 에코 기법을 적용하여 in-plane과 through-plane 영상을 획득하고 금속 인공물의 면적을 비교해 보았다. 금속 인공물은 signal-loss와 signal pile-up 영역으로 구분하여 측정하였고 둘의 합을 통해 최종 인공물의 면적을 계산하였다. 그 결과, in-plane, through-plane 모두 synthetic MR 기법을 적용했을 때 상대적으로 금속 인공물이 감소하였다. 시퀀스 별로 비교하면 in-plane의 경우 T1 영상은 23.45%, T2 영상은 20.85%, PD 영상은 19.67%, FLAIR 영상은 22.12% 감소하였다. 또한 through-plane의 경우 T1 영상은 62.95%, T2 영상은 73.93, PD 영상은 74.68%, FLAIR 영상은 66.43% 감소하였다. 이러한 결과의 원인은 synthetic MR 기법 적용 시 signal pile-up에 의한 왜곡이 발생하지 않아 전체 금속 인공물의 크기가 감소하였기 때문이다. 따라서 synthetic MR 기법은 매우 효과적으로 금속 인공물을 감소시킬 수 있어 영상의 진단적 가치를 높이는 데 도움을 줄 수 있다.

Piezoelectrics of 0.99Pb(Zr0.53 T 0.47 )O3-0.01Bi(Y1-x Fex)O3 (PZT-BYFx, 0≤x≤0.6) samples were investigated for energyharvesting devices. In the sintering processes, the pre-synthesized PZT and BYF x powders were used to increase the piezoelectric properties. Compared with the PZT-BY samples, the PZT-BYF x specimens showed the larger grain size. The piezoelectric charge coeffi cient showed the maximum value at the Fe concentration of 0.3 molar ratio. Therefore, we checked the temperature dependency of the piezoelectric properties with the PZT-BYF03 composition. The ceramics were well sintered at the temperatures of 800–1200 °C and showed the maximum sintering density of 98.3% of the theoretical value. The transduction coeffi cient showed the maximum value of 2.0*10-15m2 /N in the samples sintered at 1170 °C. And the values were decreased with decreasing the sintering temperature. The large transduction coeffi cient means that the PZT-BYF03 composition is a suitable material for energy harvesting applications.
박세리, 골프, 그리고 민족주의: IMF 체제하에서의 부자연스러운 접합

This paper aims to examine ways in which Seri Pak's winnings at 1998 LPGA tournaments were actively articulated with Korean nationalism in the context of the International Monetary Fund(IMF) stewardship. While golf had been associated with a range of negative images in Korea, Pak's achievements were instantly and vehemently incorporated into the national imagery of Korea. This study focuses on ways in which these unnatural articulations were made. Particular attention is paid to articulate the contexts which helped generate these unnatural articulations, and the role of corporate nationalism that Samsung had played in promoting its transnational corporate identity. 본고에서는 1998년 박세리의 LPGA 우승이 국가적 영광과 민족적 거사로 조명을 받게 된 과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 구체적으로 골프가 지니는 부정적 이미지에도 불구하고, 박세리의 LPGA 우승이 민족적 담론구조에 열정적으로 투영되게 된 과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 먼저, 양자간의 부자연스러운 접합(articulations)이 이루어지는 과정을 다룬다. 그리고 그러한 접합이 내재적이거나 본질적인 연결이 아니라 IMF라는 당시의 맥락적(contextual) 조건에 의하여 만들어지게 된 과정과 초국적 기업으로서의 삼성이 박세리의 기업 민족주의적 동원에 적극적으로 개입함으로써 발생하는 과정으로 분석한다.
대학생의 스포츠 활동 참여인식 및 요구 - 교양체육, 대학 스포츠동아리 참여자 및 잠재적 참여자를 중심으로 -

The Purpose of this study is to survey the college students' awareness and actual conditions of their sports activities. The survey was conducted on college students from about 30 colleges (including national and public universities, private ones and community colleges nationwide) as follows: 633 students who attend physical education class in their college; 635 students who participate in college sports clubs; and 262 potential participants. Major discoveries from this survey are as follows: First, while college students answered that they satisfy with physical education classes and their sports club activities, on the whole, they feel that the supports from their schools are much insufficient; second, the number of college students who cannot participate in sports activities due to institutional factor are more than those who cannot participate in sports activities due individual factor; third, college students recognize that sports activities also contribute to enhancement of their social relationships as well as their physical and mental health.
