The effects oP Sn contents and sintering temperature on dimensional change, tensile strength and hardness of sintered Fe-6 (Cu-Sn) alloy were investigated. Due to liquid phase occuring during sintering, all the specimens showed dimensional expansion after sintering and the sintering temperature at which a relatively large expansion occured decreased with Sn content. Thus the addition of small amount of Sn in place of Cu aids the sintering operation because it lowers the liquid phase forming temperature. From mechanical property tests, it has been shown that the properties obtained from compacts of Fe-4Cu-2Sn composition sintered at 900℃ were similar to those obtained from Fe-6Cu compacts sintered at 1100℃. For the specimens with larger amounts of Sn, a significant decrease in tensile strength was observed. Therefore, it is concluded that the optimum ratio of Cu : Sn is 2 : 1. The microstructures of the sintered specimens are presented and an attempt is made to relate these to the mechanical properties and dimensional change after sintering.

Evgenii Evtushenko reflects his own modified family histories with those of Siberians to analyze the discarded and forgotten land of Siberia in Iagodnye mesta. In this respect, the main purposes of this study focus on the establishment of his own identity as a Siberian rather than the reflection of dissident movement against the Soviet regime, supported from the viewpoint of most western literary circle. He goes on the journey of finding his own roots by means of setting the place of the work in Siberia, giving the specific Siberian nature to the characters, and describing the Siberian pride. In the novel of Evtushenko, Siberia is depicted as a place where lived strong and courageous, simple and honest people. In addition, the author describes the shamanistic ideas of the soul through the portrayal of the revival movement of national culture and traditions in Siberia as well as in the Soviet Union. The special characteristics of Evtushenko, however, are in the fact that he presents the rituals of shamanistic beliefs not as simple superstition but as cultural heritage of humanity. The author not only relates the Siberian shamanistic belief on death with the theory of the Soviet scientist Tsiolkovskii but also recognizes Siberia as an origin of the spirit of humanity depending on the perspective of archaeologist Iurii Mochanov and, thereby, criticizes Darwin’s theory of evolution in the novel. He emphasizes that the life of a human being cannot be separated from humanity by introducing a circular system of the world, in which we understand human life by connecting the lives of individuals with those of the whole human beings.

최근의 입법 경향과 입법의 선진화를 위한 과제

국가의 정책을 성공적으로 추진하기 위한 모든 노력들은 실효적인 법규범을 필요로 한다. 현재 우리 사회에서는 다양한 개혁이 진행되면서 그동안 다수의 정책이 마련되어 입법이 행해졌을 뿐 아니라 각 분야의 법제도도 상당히 변모되었다. 그러나 법규범을 단순한 수단 내지 도구로 보려는 경향이 강해지면서 무엇이든지 법률로 규정하려는 상황이 빈번해지고 있고, 지금까지 법률로 규정되지 않았던 사항까지 규정되는 한편 규범성이 희박한 법률이나 필요성이 높지 않은 법률도 제정되고 있다. 이 연구는 최근 우리의 입법경향을 살펴보면서 입법의 양적ㆍ질적 개선을 위한 과제를 다시 한번 재음미하는 계기로 삼아 보려는 것이다. 첫째, 입법형식적 관점에서의 최근 우리 입법의 경향으로는 각종 기본법, 특별법, 진흥법 입법형식의 증대를 지적할 수 있다. 우리 법제상 현재 기본법은 53개, 각종 특별법은 100개, 진흥법은 42개 존재하고 있고, 국회에 계류중인 법률안도 다수 있다. 이들 법률은 일부 긍정적인 의미가 부여된다고 볼 수도 있으나, 입법방식에 있어서 규범의 실질적인 실효성 등의 면에서 여전히 본질적인 문제점이 지적되고 있다. 둘째, 입법내용적 관점에서의 최근 우리 입법의 경향으로는 법령의 규율밀도의 강화 현상, 사적 영역에서의 입법적 개입 증대 현상, 법문에서의 정서적 표현의 증가 현상 등을 지적할 수 있다. 우리 사회의 변화 속도가 매우 빠르게 진행되고 있고 그에 대해 시의적절한 대처를 할 필요성이 높아지면서 관련되는 분야에서 법률의 제정ㆍ개정 등 입법수요가 폭주하고 있으나, 법적적 격성, 법적정당성, 법적정합성 등의 측면에서 검토가 미흡한 실정에 있다. 전체적으로 경제적인 규제개혁과 행정 간소화정책은 어느 정도 진행되고 있으나, 법제도와 법규범은 여전히 증가현상을 지속하고 있고 국민생활의 세부에 걸쳐 광범하게 규율하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 우리 입법이 입법분야의 개선과 간소화를 통하여 전체적으로 보다 더 잘 개관할 수 있고, 보다 더 이해가능하며 수범자들에게 보다 더 친화적으로 구성되어야 할 것이라는 점을 강조하고 있다. The Relationship Between Salience and Culture in Movie English

The purpose of this paper is to find out whether a relationship between salience and culture exists in movies. Since memorization of the utterances is one of the primary goals in movie English classrooms, it is worth researching a relationship between the two concepts. The romantic comedy Some Kind of Beautiful (Vaughan, 2014) was used in this paper. The movie shows many cultural differences from which seven scenes were selected. Cultural notes were added for each scene. These cultural notes were used to promote constructed salience, which occurs when an EFL teacher creates a context using cultural information. The results show that cultural notes function as a context and shed light on expressions that initially appeared to be insignificant to L2 learners in terms of language learning. Such expressions play an important role in understanding each scene and help students get the most out of the movie. Constructed salience directs attention to non-salient expressions; that is, it changes non-salient expressions into salient ones. Constructed salience in a movie deals with both content matters and the linguistic matters in question. As long as the content remains in L2 learners’ memory, the related linguistic forms will remain salient as well.

He then asks himself, “What is it that is the One-thing called?” and answers his own question quoting a passage from an ancient sage: “There was a circle even before the arrival of Buddha, which not even Sakyamuni could describe. How then was it possible for Mahakasyapa to transmit it?” This is the theme and the essence of the work: finding our true nature and original face, which is without form and indescribable.
