Historical Understanding and History Teaching is to concern how historical Understanding should be reflected in history teaching. This study examined the constructional aspects of history Understanding and then drew their implications for history teaching. We may say that the proper task of the historian is to tell us, in the famous phrase of Ranke, 'Precisely what happened' but Droysen rejects Ranke's concept. Droysen distinguish the methods of historical inquiry from those of the natural sciences. stood in line of thought from Humboldt to Dilthey. Hempel holds the position that historians are mistaken they believe that it is their essential task to describe particular events. He holds this position because he apparently believes that it is only by doing so that he can assimilate the methods of historical explanation to the methods of scientific explanation. Popper maintains that the theories of the social sciences apply to theoretical constructions or models which are formulated by the investigator in order to explain certain experiences, a method which he explicitly compares to the construction of theoretical models in the natural sciences. Collingwood bases his opposition to the positivist account less on history's concern with unique occurrences than on its having to explain. not natural events, the actions of human beings who are at least to some extent free to order their activities in accordance with the demands of reason. History Teaching based on the constructive aspects of the history is to reveal to the students the teacher's insight ability in the situations where a teacher uses his insight and speculation. The contents of history teaching are not objective facts but the results of historians' construction with historical Understanding. Therefore history teaching is to foster the attitudes which recognize history contents as the whole that has historical Understanding.

복합모드형 ER엔진마운트의 성능평가 (I);엔진마운트의 제작 및 시험

This paper presents a mixed-mode type ER(electro-rheological) engine mount, and its vibration control performance for a passenger vehicle is presented. The field-dependent yield stress of a transfo rmer oil-based ER fluid is empirically distilled in both shear and flow modes. This is then incorporated with the governing equation of motion of the proposed mixed-mode(shear mode plus flow mode) type engine mount. The damping force is analyzed with respect to the intensity of the electric field and design parameters such as electrode gap. Subsequently, the ER engine mount which is equivalent to the conventional hydraulic engine mount in terms of the damping level is designed and manufactured. Both computer simulation and experimental test are undertaken in order to evaluate vibration isolation performance. In addition, this performance is compared with that of the conventional hydraulic engine mount.

This paper attempts to examine the process of internalization of self-restraint or control in Elias’ modern civilizing process from a psychoanalytic perspective. First, Freud says that the development of civilization limits the freedom of individuals and enforces bans and oppressions that are super-ego-like through ethical demands. On the other hand, Jung expressed civilization as a personalization that satisfies the collective destiny of human beings to drive more. Lacan also said that civilization, the desire of humans and communities to lose their own, is to mourn the object in their own way. Strangely, the process of modern civilization is not merely self-restraint and control, but in some ways, it can be regarded as an assumption of consciousness of the unconscious. Through this process, it is thought that the essential essence of modern civilization will be more clearly understood. 본 논문은 엘리아스의 근대문명화 과정에서 자기 억제 내지 통제의 내면화하는 과정을 정신분석학적 측면에서 살펴보려 한 것이다. 먼저 프로이트는 문명의 발달이 개인의 자유를 제한하고 윤리적 요구를 통해 초자아에 준하는 금지와 억압을 실행한다고 말한다. 이에 비해 융은 문명을 인간의 집단적 숙명을 더 안전하게 충족시키는 개성화로 표현하였다. 라깡 역시 문명을 인간과 공동체가 자신들이 상실한 욕망의 대상을 각자의 방식으로 애도하는 것이라고 말하였다. 따라서 근대문명화 과정은 단순히 자기 억제와 통제를 하는 것이 아니라 어떤 면에서는 무의식을 의식화하는 과정으로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 과정을 통해 근대 문명의 핵심적인 본질을 좀 더 명확히 이해할 것으로 생각된다.

과지압 암반 내 대규모 지하 유류비축기지 안정성 평가 사례

Brittle failure such as popping and/or spalling was detected in an over-stressed rock mass during the construction of oil storage caverns, which has not yet been systematically reported in Korea. The in-situ stress as a cause and the mechanism of stress induced brittle failure of the site and resultant measurements are introduced. Various evaluation methods, and counter measures such as change of excavation shape and steel pipes with multi-staged grout are sought to stabilize the over-stressed rock mass. The major results from the numerical analysis of the cavern are presented. 유류비축 저장공동의 건설과정에서 암반파괴음과 암편탈락 현상이 발견되었다. 이러한 현상은 아직까지 우리나라에서 체계적으로 보고되지 않았던 현상으로서, 지압으로 유도된 이러한 취성파괴의 원인으로서 초기지압, 발생 메커니즘, 계측치 특징 등을 소개하였다. 또한 취성파괴의 원인을 파악하고 과지압 암반을 안정화시키기 위하여 본 저장공동에 적용한 여러 가지 대책공법들로서 굴착형상의 변경 및 강관다단그라우팅을 소개하였다. 대책공법의 검증을 위해 사용한 수치해석 주요 결과를 기술하였다.

The mother was 24 years old, primipara, and had been taking carbamazepine 400mg(serum concentration $5.0-8.5{\mu}g/ml$) during pregnancy without any clinical seizures. A male baby with physical malformation was delivered on week 39. The malformation is extradigit(polydactily) on X-ray of right foot and left mild hydronephrosis on ultrasonography and renal scan with radioactive material. We reported this rare case and reviewed related articles about teratogenic effect of carbamazepine, mechanism of action and prevention of teratogenesis.

Bacillus subtilis DO4에 의한 볏짚의 CMC, Xylan 및 Lignin 성분의 분해양상에 관하여

To investigate the biodegradation pattern of rice straw, mainly composed of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin components, by the isolate stran Bacillus subtilis $DO_4$, the change of cell population was observed on CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose), larch wood xylan and lignosulfonate as a carbon source respectively. Also, the transition pattern of enzyme activities of cellulase and xylanase and lignin contents was measured on rice straw and mixed substrate according to growth. The results in these experiments revealed that xylanase activity was first appeared and cellulase activity in the next, while lignin component was almost not changed through the culture period.
