This paper presents the design results and characteri- stic analysis of SRM. For vehicle power supply for adaptable design of the SRM, variable design parameters, such as stator and rotor laminations, winding details, pole numbers, and pole arcs, phases numbers are required. So, in this paper the SRM design results and the comparison of characteristics for vehicle power supply as phases changed are described.

This Paper analysis variable characteristics of inductance profiles and basic magnetic fields for Switched Reluctance Motors(SRM). The varying Inductance and flux linkage on operating control condition are very important for developing control algorithm and SRM accurate drive system. Therefore, we have analytical model for varying inductance and flux linkage with simulation and experimental mothed, and to find an analytical expression for the SRM coenergy. There are shown some good results that comparison of simulated and analytical inductance, flux linkage and current waves.

This paper presents a proper switching angle calculation method of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) for drill. The characteristic of SRM drive is very related to the scheduling of commutation angle and current waveforms. Therefore, a selection method of switching turn-on and turnoff angle is suggested for adaptational operation of SRM with varied rotor speed and load. Simulation and experimental results are presented for the validation of proposed method.

This paper present a inductance calculation method of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) for torque characteristic analysis using analytical model. Recently, many approaches of inductance calculations are accomplished with Finite Element Analysis (FEM) and curve fitting method using complex nonlinear magnetic circuit model.. In this paper, a simple method for inductance calculation is proposed based on the motor design parameters. The simulation result of the proposed method are compared with a FEM analysis result for , and a good accuracy is obtained.
