브랜드 경험 확장을 위한 스페이스 브랜딩 사례 연구 -시몬스 팝업스토어를 중심으로-

침대 교체 주기가 긴 단점을 극복하고자 시몬스는 창립 150주년 기념과 브랜드 경험 확장 및 MZ세대와 접점 늘리기 위하여 팝업스토어를 진행하였다. 이에 본 연구는 브랜드 경험 확장을 위한 시몬스 팝업스토의 스페이스 브랜딩 특성을 분석하여 시몬스만의 차별화된 가치를 표명하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 대상은 시몬스 팝업스토어 4개소이며, 연구 방법은 스페이스 브랜딩 프로그램 3가지인 형태 기반 프로그램, 행동 기반 관계 프로그램 그리고 의미 기반 가치프로그램을 정성적으로 분석하고, 이를 토대로 스페이스 브랜딩의 특성을 리커트 척도로 정량평가 후 다이어그램으로 시각화한다. 연구 결과 첫째, 형태 기반 프로그램은 침대와 상관성이 결여된 지역을 선택하고, 그 지역의 특성을 기반으로 하여 소비자의 고정관념을 뒤엎은 콘텐츠로 경쟁브랜드와 동일성에서 벗어나 시몬스만의 차별화로 새로운 브랜드 경험을 제공하고 있다. 둘째, 행동 기반 관계 프로그램은 팝업스토어 면적의 크고 작음을 떠나 브랜드는 소비자와 지속적인 소통을 하기 위하여 자율적인 참여를 유도하고 있으며, 독특한 스토리텔링으로 소비자의 감성과 흥미 유발을 제공하고 있다. 셋째, 의미 기반 가치프로그램은 지역과 지역, 사람과 사람을 잇는다는 취지로 로컬브랜드와의 협업 및 상품 판매를 통해 상권 활성화라는 선순환을 창출하는 등 사회 경제적 메시지를 제공하고 있다. 넷째, 스페이스 브랜딩의 특성은 고정화된 이념들을 배제한 시몬스만의 차별화된 특성들로 다양한 브랜드 접촉점을 통해 소비자에게 브랜드 경험 확대의 기회를 제공하고 있다. Simmons implemented pop-up store marketing to overcome the shortcomings of the long bed replacement cycle, expand the brand experience, and increase contact with the MZ generation in celebration of its 150th anniversary. The purpose of this study is to express Simmons’unique differentiated value by analyzing Simmons pop-up store space branding characteristics to expand the brand experience. As for the research method, three space branding programs were qualitatively analyzed, including form-based, behavior-based relationship, and meaning-based value programs. Based on the analysis, the characteristics of space branding are quantitatively assessed using a Likert scale and visualized in a diagram. Research results are as follows: First, Simmons’ shape-based program analysis shows that the brand selects areas that lack correlation with beds. Based on the characteristics of respective areas, Simmons provides a new brand experience, breaking away from sameness with competing brands and differentiating itself from others through content that overturns consumers' fixed ideas. Second, an analysis of Simmons’ behavior-based relationship program reveals that the brand encourages voluntary participation regardless of the size of the pop-up store area to communicate with consumers continuously and provides unique storytelling to stimulate consumers’sensibility and interest. Third, the meaning-based value program shows that the brand provides social and economic messages by creating a virtuous cycle of revitalizing commercial districts through collaboration and product sales with local brands to the effect of connecting regions and people. Fourth, a quantitative assessment of Simmons’space branding characteristics reveals that the brand allows consumers to expand their brand experience through various brand contact points, reflecting Simmons’unique, differentiated characteristics that exclude fixed ideas.

2023년에도 2월에는 튀르키예와 시리아에서 대규모 지진이 발생하고, 칠레에서는 대규모 산불이 발생하였으며, 8월에는 하와이에서 산불로 많은 인명피해가 있었으며, 9월에는 모로코에서 지진이 발생하였다. 또한, 국내에서는 역대 세 번째로 많은 봄철 산불과 6-7월에는 충북 청주의 궁평 지하차도를 포함한 전국적인 집중호우 등 국내외에서 이전에 경험하지 못한 수준의 극한 재난 사건들이 발생하였으며, 미래에는 이러한 사건들이 더욱 빈번하게 발생할 것으로 예측된다. 이상기후에 대비함과 동시에 재난 발생시 피해를 최소화하기 위한 다양한 방안에 대한 고려가 필요한 시점이다. 본 논문은 극한 재난이 발생하였을 때 발령하는 시스템부터 재난정보를 수신하는 국민에 이르기까지 전반적인 재난정보 전달 관점에서 고려하여 국민의 요구사 항을 반영하여 재난정보를 효과·효율적으로 전달하는 방식에 대해 제안한다. 제안하는 방안을 통해 신속·정확·효율적인 재난 정보 전달이 이루어져 재난으로부터 인명 및 재산상의 피해를 감소시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

초불확실성 시대 일본의 게임체인저 전략: 아베 독트린, 안보 넥서스, 가치 네트워크

This study analyzes Japan’s national security strategy by combining the concept of a game changer with a situation involving unstable international order. I discuss characteristics and changes in Japan’s national security strategy, considering aspects such as threat recognition, external environment change, strategic means, and the game changer as an actor. As the situations at home and abroad have changed rapidly in the era of hyper-uncertainty, Japan’s government has been pursuing proactive policies, recognizing that it should create a new and strong Japan. This paper explains game-changer Abe Shinzo and the Abe Doctrine that intended to change the existing order of post-war Japan, then identifies the core contents of Japan’s national strategy. This paper will help promote an understanding of Japan’s strategy to respond to unpredictable changes, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S.–China competition, and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, including an analysis of Japan’s strategy to emerge as a new game changer in international society.

In the past, in accordance with the rapid development of industrial society, power facilities were replaced in order to expand the power grid and upgrade the performance. However, as the modernization of the industrial society is saturated, the replacement speed of facilities is slowing down, and the aging equipment is increasing. Therefore, interest in how to manage aging facilities is increasing, and research on the asset management of power facilities is required to establish a plan to efficiently operate facilities that are already in operation. It is necessary to diagnose the status of the facilities and analyze how the condition of the facilities will change in the future through an analysis of the remaining life. In order to establish the process, research on the statistical life of assets should be preceded. However, in the case of South Korea, power facilities are replaced before failure occurs in order to improve the reliability of power grid. Therefore, there is insufficient data to estimate the statistical life power assets. In this paper, a study on a system that analyzes the statistical lifetime using the data of gas insulated switchgear (GIS) published abroad and predicts the number of failures over time using the hazard rate.

중일 대륙붕 경계획정의 정치적 함의: 춘샤오/시라카바 석유가스전 공동개발 사례를 중심으로

본 연구는 중국과 일본의 해양 갈등과 협력의 대표적인 사례인 춘샤오/시라카바 석유가스전 공동개발 사례를 분석하여, 해양협력과 갈등의 메커니즘을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히 대륙붕 경계획정 문제를 둘러싼 국제규범의 변화와 이를 연계하여 국내법에 접목하여대응하는 과정에서 나타나는 중일 양국 간 인식과 해석의 차이를 분석한다. 동중국해에서 중국과 일본은 센카쿠/댜오위다오 영유권 문제를 중심으로 충돌하였고, 자국의 주장을 정당화하기 위해 국제규범을 적극적으로 원용하였다. 2008년 중국과 일본의 관계 개선 분위기 속에서양국 정상의 정치적 합의의 상징으로 춘샤오/시라카바 석유가스전 공동개발이 추진되었으나, 미해결로 남겨진 문제들과 합의의 신뢰성에 의문이 제기되며 동중국해를 둘러싼 갈등이 고조되고 있다. 해양 갈등을 안정적으로 관리하기 위해서는 대륙붕 경계획정과 관련하여 불분명하게 남겨진 논의들을 관리해나갈 수 있는 법적, 제도적 방안을 마련하고 동중국해를 ‘평화, 협력, 우호의 바다’로 만들겠다는 공동 비전에 대한 실질적인 공감대를 도출하여 협력의 필요성과 의지를 재확인해 나갈 필요가 있다. 춘샤오/시라카바 석유가스전을 공동개발 하려고 했던 중일 양국의 시도와 한계는 동중국해에서의 에너지・자원의 공동관리를 위한 해양 레짐의 개발과 거버넌스의 구축방안 등을 포함하는 협력의 제도화 방안을 모색하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
