Recently, various technologies have been devised to convert methane, a main ingredient of natural gas and biogas, into hydrogen as part of efforts to develop new low pollution energies and reduce greenhouse gases. This study, different from existing methods of reformation, suggests a new form of a partial oxidation compression ignition reformer, to which the concept of super-adiabatic combustion is applied. In addition, the study also conducts experiments by variables about the oxygen/methane ratio, the total flow rate. the intake preheating temperature and the oxygen enrichment ratio, all of which affect the production of hydrogen, in order to understand the optimal feature of the reformer's movement. Results showed that the concentration of hydrogen was 20.84%, under the optimal standard condition of oxygen/methane ratio 0.26, total flow rate 106.5 L/min and intake preheating temperature 355℃. Under the same condition, the concentration of hydrogen became 20.31% when the oxygen enrichment ratio was 55.6%.
칼슘제 수관살포가 참다래의 과실 품질과 저장에 미치는 영향

This study were carried out to improve Kiwifruit quality and storage life. Three kinds of calcium compound were sprayed and calcium content of fruits, weight loss during fruit storage and fruit quality were investigated. Calcium contents within leaves and fruit were lower in Clef-non treatment than that of control. The calcium content in fruit pericarp of Kalk-H and CaCl2 was 0.04 to 0.05% higher than that of control. Fruit weight and soluble solids content at harvest was a little higher but acidity and fruit hardness was lowered. Fruit weight loss of Kalk-H and CaCl2 treatment was 1.39 to 1.53% lower than that of control during storage. The soluble solids of ripen fruit was 1.0 to 1.3% higher in all treatment and 0.8% higher in Kalk-H treatment in 120 of after storage. Fruit hardness of control fruit was higher at harvest but that of CaCl2 treatmented fruit was 0.39㎏/φ 5㎜ higher in 120 days of storage.

This paper explores the research under way in developing an automatic measuring of a navigation by Global Positioning System(GPS) technique with equipped NavTrac model(manufactured by Trimble Ltd.). An experimental cruising assess the accuracy of the GPS for the dimentional navigation. The GPS position was analyzed in terms of the plane coordinates(X,Y), which are gained the transformation of WGS-80 to Tokyo coordinate. From results of the test cruising, differenes between actual and cruised are did not exceed±25m. This error bound assumed to be an heuristic discriminative region at 1/25,000 base map. The use of this GPS positioning technique would be well suited for a variety of application where cost effectiveness becomes an importance factor.

Recently, in the competitive environments, every company recognizes the importance of the control architecture for production system. Manufacturing has been evolving over the years as different needs and technologies arise. Information systems have become the nerve center of most manufacturing system. The Supply Chain is a worldwide network of suppliers, factories, warehouses, distribution centers, and retailers through which raw materials are acquired, transformed, and delivered to customers. Partnership quality has been considered important to optimize performance of Supply Chain Management. But the dynamics of the enterprise and the market make this difficult, for example, materials do not arrive on time, production facilities fail, workers are ill, customers change or cancel order, and so forth, causing deviations from the plan. In this paper, we develop a control architecture for production system. Then, using the simulation technique with Arena Professional Edition, we proposes a effective evaluation method for production systems.

This thesis aims at finding the present abilities of the graduates from Electronic Departments of Technical High schools, their present value to the Electronic Industry, and the required qualifications. The following suggestions are proposed to improve the education of Technical High schools, and to meet the needs of the future. -Such basic subjects as English, Korean(including Chinese letters), Mathematics are to be emphasized in the curricula. -Basic theory in major subjects should be broadened rather than stressing experiments and practice in specific trades. -Major subjects are to include more wide and general theories than those of the present.

Objective : In order to examine the effects of Coicis Semen on the hyperlipidemia, the extracts of Job's Tears were given to hyperlipidemic rats induced by fructose-rich chow. Method : The hyperlipidea was induced by fructose-rich chow during five weeks in rats. And the rats were administered with the extracts prepared from husk layer, bran layer, polished rice, unpolished rice or unhulled grain of Job's Tears each others during three weeks. And then, the effects of the extracts on body weight gain, total cholesterol, triglyceride and blood glucose were examined. Results and Conclusion : The extracts prepared from polished rice, unpolished rice or unhulled grain of Job's Tears had no effects on the body weight gains of the corpulent rats induced by a high fructose diet. Meanwhile, the extracts prepared from the unhulled grain (Coicis Semen), unpolished rice, and bran layer of Job's Tears decreased the levels of blood total cholesterol. and triglyceride, each others. And the effect of unhulled grain was more stronger than those of the others. The results suggested that unhulled grain had some materials useful for alleviating the hyperlipidemia, and the effective molecule is existed in the surface of unhulled grain.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to review research paper on low level laser therapy (LLLT) and to improve the knowledge of LLLT field. Methods: For introduction, laser characteristics, including, wavelength, medium, beam size, power, and unit power were explained. In order to understand LLLT, tissue optics and light-biomatter interaction were briefly mentioned. We reciewed 21 Korean papers on laser acupuncture and LLLT on the viewpoint of laser apparatus. Results and Conclusion: We found that the description of laser apparatus employed for LLLT experiments were not fully written. Laser wavelength and power which are the most crucial parameters, were omitted in several papers. No paper had information on beam size. In order to have high efficacy, laser should be used with proper laser parameters. Conditions of irradiation area or acupoints should be considered too. Some future technology on laser acupuncture were mentioned.

It is important to design photobioreactor by cheap material for economical microalgal biomass production. In this study, two types of marine photobioreactors (MPBR), made by either polyvinyl chloride (MPBR-PVC) or high density poly ethylene (MPBR-HDPE), are used and performance of these were compared. Tetraselmis sp. KCTC 12236BP is a green marine alga that isolated from Ganghwa Island, Korea, and the strain was used for marine cultivations using MPBR-PVC and MPBR-HDPE. The cultivations were performed three times in the spring season of 2012 using MPBR-PVC and of 2013 using MPBR-HDPE in the coastal area of Young Heung Island. As the results, MPBR-PVC shows higher biomass productivities than MPBR-HDPE, due to its high light transmittance. In the cultivations using MPBR-PVC, the average sea water temperature was 11.5°C during the first experiment and 16.5°C during the second and third experiments. Average light intensities during three times for experiments were 407.5, 268.1 and 273.0 μ·E·m<SUP>-2</SUP>·s<SUP>-1</SUP>, respectively. The maximum fresh cell weight and average biomass productivity were 1.2 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP> and 0.12 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP>·day<SUP>-1</SUP>. These results showed that Tetraselmis sp. KCTC12236BP were adapted well with the environmental conditions from ocean, and grow in the MPBR-PVC and MPBR-HDPE.
