Past dicharges of settleable and colloidal organic solids into natural waterways have resulted in appreciable accumulations of sediment in the botton of many lakes, estuaries and river stretches over the years. Under such conditions, bottom sediments, when present, may be come one of the most important factots influencing the quality of natural water. Thus, this study was performed to investigate the nutrients release through chamber experimentation at Gangchang bridge which one of polluted places in Kumho River. The coefficients of sediment oxygen demand for aerobic and anaerobic conditions were 0.864, 5.04 day^(-1), respectively. Also, the release rate of NH₃-N and PO₄-P for aerobic conditions were 0.242g/m²·day, 0.029g/m²·day, and the released rate of NH₃-N and PO₄-P for anaerobic condition were 0.665g/m²·day, 0.186g/m²·day, respectively.
신경회로망 제어기를 이용한 PID 파라미터 추정에 관한 연구

In this paper, supposed to solve these problem to PID parameters controller algorithm using ANN. In the proposed algorithm, the parameters of the controller were adjusted to reduce by on-line system the error of the speed of IM. In this process, EBPA NN was constituted to an output error value of an IM and conspired an input and output. The performance of the self-tuning controller is compared with that of the PH) controller tuned by conventional method (Ziehler-Nichols). The effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified thought the Matlab Simulink and experimental results.
조기위암에서 침윤, 유형 및 분화도에 따른 p53, bcl-2의 발현

Purpose: For evaluation of the role of tumohgenesis of p53 over expression and bcl-2 inhibition in early gastric cancer, the immunohistochemical tissue status of 31 primary early gastric cancer patients was investigated, and also the association between p53 , bcl-2 expression status and clinicopathologic parameters was analyzed for evaluation of prognostic relevance. Materials and Methods: DO7, a monoclonal antiserum to p53 protein and clone 124, monoclonal antibody to bcl-2 protein were used for the immunohistochemical analysis in 31 primary early gastric cancer tissue. The expressions were scored and divided into negative, positive, low expression, and over expression. Results: The clinocopathologic parameters; tumor depth of invasion, histologic type and differentiation were not related with the expression status of p53 and bcl-2. In 31 cases, the p53 over expression was 14 cases(45.2%), and the bcl-2 positive expression was 15 cases(48.4%), and 9 cases(29.0%) were the status of p53 over expression and bc1-2 positive expression. Conclusions: These results suggest that altered cell cycle and apoptosis control by p53 and bcl-2 may be an event in carcinogenesis of early gastric cancer but there are many other mediators that may fascilitate tumorigenesis.
기체크로마토그래피/질량분석기에 의한 저질 및 토양시료 중 벤조페논의 분석법 연구

Analytical method of benzophenone (BP) in sediment and soil was developed by gas chromatography/mass selective detector/selected ion monitoring (GC/MSD/SIM). The ultrasonic extraction of US EPA (method 3550B) method and liquid-liquid extraction for sediment and soil samples were used for the analysis of BP from sediment and soil. BP was extracted with n-hexane. Organic layer was washed with 5% sodium chloride solution. 1-2㎕ of the concentrated solution of organic layer was applied to GC/MSD. The retention time of BP peak was 11.10 min. Recovery (%) of BP by ultrasonication from sediment and soil samples was 96.0~100.6% and 40.0~83.0%, respectively. Recovery of BP by liquid-liquid extraction was 51~59% in soil samples. The detection limit of BP in sediment and soil samples were determined to 0,1 ng/g.
인삼사포닌의 소장내 최종대사산물인 IH-901의 수용액중 가용화

The purpose of the present study was to formulate the aqueous solution of 20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxadiol (IH-901), an intestinal bacterial metabolic derivative from Ginseng protopanaxadiol saponin. For this pur-pose, the effects of various solubilization agents such as cosolvents [ethanol, propylene glycol (PG), polyethylene glycol 300 (PEG 300). polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG 400), glycerin], surfactants (Tween 80, Cremophor RH40, Cremophor?EL, Poloxamer 407, Poloxamer 188) and a complexation agent [hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HPBCD)], on the solubility of IH-901 in aqueous solution were evaluated. The solubility of IH-901 in water was under 1 μg/ml at 20℃. Cosolvents such as ethanol, PG, PEG 300, PEG 400 and glycerin did not enhance the solubility of IH-901 at the 0 - 40% concentration range. The solubility of IH-901 was significantly elevated by the addition of cosolvents over the 80% concentration range. On the other hand. tween 80, Cremophor" EL, Cremophor" RH40 and HPBCD showed enhanced effects on the solubility of IH-901. The enhanced effects of Poloxamer 407 or Poloxamer 188 on the IH-901 solubility were less pronounced compared with Cremophor" EL or Cremophor' RH40. As a results. Cremophor"' aqueous solution was selected as an optimum solvent system. The aqueous solutions containing 10% Cremophor EL and 7% Cremophor' RH40 were formulated as dosing solutions containing 5.0 mg/ml of IH-901 for its intravenous and oral administration, respectively. The formular showed physical stability after stored for 7 days at 4℃.

S. H. MOK, C. S. KWAK, O. B. KWON. The Influence of Midsole Hardness of Running Shoes on Shoes Flex Angle during Running. Korean Journal of Sport Biomechanics, Vol. 14, No. 2, pp. 85-103, 2004. This study was conducted to determine what effects would the midsole hardness of running shoes have on shoe flex angle and maximum propulsive force. Furthermore, the relationship between the shoes flex angle and maximum propulsive force was elucidated in order to provide basic data for developing running shoes to improve sports performances and prevent injuries. The subjects employed in the study were 10 college students majoring in physical education who did not have lower limbs injuries for the last one year and whose running pattern was rearfoot strike pattern of normal foot. The shoes used in this study had 3different hardness, shore A 40(soft), 50(medium) and 60(hard). The subjects were asked to run at a speed of 4?.08m/sec, and their movements were videotaped with 2 S-VHS video-cameras and measured with a force platform. And the following results were obtained after analyzing and comparing the variables. 1. Although the minimum angle of shoes flex angle was estimated to appear at SFA4, it appeared at SFA2 except in those shoes with the hardness of 40. 2. The minimum angle of shoes flex angle was 145.1?with barefoot. Among the shoes with different hardness, it was the smallest when the hardness was 50 at 149.9? The time to the minimum angle was 70.7% of the total ground contact time. 3. Maximum propulsive force according to midsole hardness was the largest when the hardness was 50 at 1913.9?84.3N. There was a low correlation between maximum propulsive force and shoes flex angle.

This paper discribes an experimental study on the properties of Cement-Bentonite mortar for grouting. Recently, low strength cement mortar mixed with clay minerals has been widely employed in foundation treatment, cutoff wall and curtain, strengthening soft soil layer, etc. The experiments were intended to clarify the properties of the cement mortar with the bentonites which were available in the local market. Of the study, fluidity, tendency of segregation and compressive strength of mortar were analyzed with two kinds of clay minerals, namely, A and B-Type Bentonite.
