        강세충돌기반이론과 억양기반이론의 비교 : 영어의 리듬변이를 중심으로 English Rhythmic Adjustment

        This paper provides a comparison of two approaches to English rhythmic adjustment, stress clash-based metrical approaches and intonation-based approaches. It argues that clash-based analyses be better ones seeing that their key notion of stress clash is consistently needed to give adequate accounts to the rhythmic adjustment of both the phonological phrase and the intonational phrase. However, it is also proposed that metrical analyses of rhythmic adjustment be replaced by a constraint-based one since the latter makes it possible to relate both the factors of rhythmic adjustment, rhythm and phrasing factors, through constraint interaction.

      • 사업장근로자의 구강보건인식 및 실천에 관한 연구

        This study is to investigate the recognition of oral by workers in enterprising place and the degree of their care. The subject of investigation is 198workers at three companies in Kyunggi-Do. The duration to collect the survey takes from September 1 to September 30, 2000. The means for survey is to prove the reliability and property. For the method of analysis, it used frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple comparison test. The conclusion is as followings. Firstly, regarding the general characteristics, men from all the subject, 198workers for this survey are 73.2%. Regarding ages, 20∼29years or less is 49%. 30∼39years or less is 33.8%. Regarding the school carrier, the graduate from high school is 40.9% and collage is 38.4%. Accordingly, the degree of school carrier was high. People who work for research is 34.8%. Regarding the degree of their economy, middle is 75.3%. Secondly, regarding the recognition of oral health, alveolitis prevention effect was high but decayed tooth effect was low. And the needs of dental surgery were low. Thirdly, reviewing the action of oral health, the recognition of necessity and importance of scaling was low. Most of the workers dont get scaling their teeth regularly. Although they recognized it is necessary to get regular oral examine for oral health, the grade to do actually was low. Fourthly, on the basis of general feature, considering the recognition of oral health, 20∼29years workers were got a high grade. Manufacturing workers was lower than official and technical service workers. In the aspect of the level of economy, middle class is higher than low(p<.05). Reviewing the action, women are higher than men. The more age and the level of economy, the more action become(p<.05).

      • 경주마 생체시료에서의 난드로론과 대사체의 검출 및 정량

        In veterinary practice, anabolic steroid the nandrolone have been widely used in androgen therapy and illegal treatment. So current study was undertaken to quantify the steroids (nandrolone and its major metabolite estranediol) after administration and develope the screening method for the detection of anabolic steroid residues in equine body fluids. In the equine plasma, after extracted by disposable C18 Sep-pak cartridge with elution solvent, the organic layer was evaporated to dryness. The residue was subjected to LC/MS/MS analysis. After LC/MS/MS analysis, liquid chromatographic retention time data and mass spectral data were used for the detection and identification of nandrolone. The good quality control and recovery range were obtained for the present method. In the urine, after enzyme hydrolysis, the urine was extracted by disposable C18 Sep-pak cartridge and diethyl ether. After the ether layer was evaporated to dryness, the residue was subjected to derivatization prodedure and GC/MS analysis. After GC/MS analysis, both gas chromatographic retention time and mass spectral data were used for the detection and identification of estranediol. Also good quality-control data and recovery range were obtained for the present method. Using these methods, the concentrations of nandrolone and estranediol were determined in equine plasma and urine. Excretion profile of nandrolone presents the rapid increase up to maximum values at Days 4 after dosing and the slow regression in plasma and estrandiol major urinary metabolite of nandrone also presents increase up to maximum values at Days 5 after dosing and slow regression in urine.

      • Helicobacter pylori와 대장균의 Shuttle Vector 개발

        In this study, a vehicle vector using cryptic plasmids was constructed for gene transfer in Helicobacter pylori. pHP51(3.9 kb) and pHP489(1.2 kb) were selected for constructing vectors from cryptic plasmid of H. pylori isolates in Korea. The HindⅢ-digestedDNA fragment(1.2kb) of pHP489 and 1.6kb DNA fragment of pHP51 were ligated with a kanamycin resistance gene(aph3'-Ⅲ) from C. jejuni to produce the recombinant plasmids pHP489K and pHP51K, respectively. Transformation frequency of pHP51K by electroporation was low. But pHP489K could be effectively transformed into various H. pylori strains. In order to design an intermdiate vehicle vector for gene transfer into H. pylori, pBlueHP489K was prepared by recloning pHP489K DNA into pBluescript and pTZ19R vector. This vector permitted the DNA fragment containing pHP489 sequence, aph3'-Ⅲ, and cloned DNA to be cut and self-ligated in the SacⅠ site after cloning. ureA and ureB gene were inserted into pBlueHP489K, resulting in pBlueHP489K/AB. The DNA fragment containing pHP489, kanamycin resistance gene(aph3'-Ⅲ), and urease structural gene was cut away from pBlueHP489K/AB and self-ligated to generate pBlueHP489K/AB. pBlueHP489K/AB made urease-negative H. pylori strains restore their urease activity. By this experiment, pBlueHP489K was confirmed to be the vehicle system for transferring H. pylori genes.

      • Clostridium difficile 장염에 의한 속발성 유전분증에서 발현된 독성 장염

        Amyloidosis is characterized by extracellular deposition of protein fibrils in one or multiple organs. AA amyloidosis is secondarily occurred to be related with chronic infections or inflammatory diseases. We report a 67-year-old man suffered from secondary AA amyloidosis related with chronic Clostridium difficile colitis after repeated total hip replacement surgery. Infection control is the most important treatment of AA amyloidosis secondary to chronic infection. However, the patient’s C. difficile colitis was not controlled well, eventually toxic megacolon with sepsis was developed. Consequently, he had to take total colectomy, but he expired with multi-organ failures. We suggested that early surgical procedure might be one option for intractable C. difficile colitis complicated with secondary amyloidosis.

      • 텔레커뮤팅(재택근무)의 특성과 교통수요의 변화

        The emergence of new information technologies and recent advances in existing telecommunication technologies significantly affects our daily lives. This paper presents what changes then will our lives undergo in the near future if we accept telecommuting, a new system born as a result of the telecommunication technology development. Once workplaces become identical to residences, many changes are expected to occur in the daily lives of individuals, such as the reduced commuting time, securement of spare time, and arbitrariness related to time distribution. Of such many changes, what connection will telecommuting have in deciding private travel demand? What characteristics will the time and space, required by the daily lives of the telecommuters leading the informatized society, carry? It has been confirmed that the Korean telecommuters form unique time and space patterns which are distinctive from those of persons going to existing offices. With respect to commuting frequency, in particular, a pattern entirely different from that of foreign countries has been noted, indicating travel can be reduced to an extent capable of contributing to the solving of traffic problems. Even the trip chaining is entirely different from those of common employees. However, introduction of telecommuting does not seem so simple. In order to reflect telecommuting in future traffic policies and city planning, we should approach with an understanding that travel demand is generated by the individuals in line with their daily activities. As future projects, therefore, detailed quantitative researches should be carried out in relation to the construction of modelling, such as the estimation of time it takes for the telecommuting to be reflected in traffic policies and city planning, detailed surveys and analysis with respect to time spent by the people in the information-oriented society, and the surveys and analysis of the space pattern connected with the time usage.

      • 산포도와 머루중의 Polyphenol Oxidase에 관한 연구¹

        Polyphenol oxidase was partially purified from fresh vitis flexuosa and vitis amurensis and its characteristics were studied. the experimental results were summarized as follows. 1.The enzyme activities were increased during the fruit developement gradually in two sample. 2.The optimum pH and temperature for activity were 5.5 and 30℃, respectively. 3.The enzyme was active with o-phenols and trihydroxyphenol, but inactive toward m-diphenols and monophenols. 4.The ?? value of the enzymes was 15.4 mM in vitis flexuosa and 12.5 mM in vitis amurensis with catechol as substrate. 5.Inhibitors sudies indicated that sodium diethyl-dithiocarbamate, L-cysteine, sodium bisulfite, L-ascorbic acid and 2-mercaptoeyhanol were the most potent. 6.The enzyme activity increament by ?? was much better than those by the other metal ions.
