No effective antiviral therapy is proven yet, but clinical use of ribavirin (RBV) has been tried. We investigated the antiviral effect of RBV against SFTSV in vitro. Methods: To test for cytotoxicity of RBV, Vero cells were treated with different concentrations of RBV (3.90 to 500 μg/mL, two-fold dilution) and analyzed by cell viability MTS assay 48h post-infection. To determine antiviral activity of RBV against SFTSV, Vero cells were infected with SFTSV strain Gangwon/Korea/2012 at 100 TCID50 (50% tissue culture infective dose) per well in a 96-well plate, and RBV was added at the concentrations showing no or minimal cytotoxicity. Viral RNAs were extracted from the culture supernatants and quantifi ed using one-step real-time reverse transcription- PCR to amplify the partial large segment of SFTSV. Statistical analysis was done by one-way ANOVA with Tukey`s post hoc test. Results: Cytotoxicity due to RBV was not observed at RBV concentration =31.3 μg/ mL. Viral RNAs at 24h post-RBV treatment were reduced with increasing RBV concentrations (1-32 μg/mL), compared with those of mock-treated cells (P <0.01, Figure). Half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of RBV was 3.69 μg/mL at 24h post-RBV treatment. Conclusions: Our study shows that RBV has antiviral effect against SFTSV in a dose-dependent manner. Further studies are required to evaluate the effi cacy of RBV in SFTS.

        위절제술 환자의 표준진료지침 개발 및 적용 효과

        Background : Gastric cancer is the most common malignant tumor in Korea. surgical operation is one of the major treatment modalities for gastric cancer patients. Therefore, gastrectomy is one of the most common procedures in General Surgery. There were variation in length of hospital stay and medical treatment for gastrectomy between three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. Clinical pathways have received considerable attention as a tool for recucing the medical practice variation, increasing the efficiency of care process, and improving the quality of care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a clinical pathway for gastrectomy in gastric cancer patients. Methods : The clinical pathway for gastrectomy was developed and implemented by a multidisciplinary group in Asan Medical Center. A computerized clinical pathway program was developed and revised after a pilot test. A total of 145 patients underwent gastrectomy by three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. We compared the length of hospital stay, patient satisfaction, and unplanned readmission rate between the pre-pathway group(n=67) and the post-pathway group(n=78). We also investigated the degree of satisfaction among the physicians and nurses who were main end-users of the clinical pathway. Results : The clinical pathway was applied to all target patients. The average length of hospital stay was shortened from 12.7days to 10.6days(p<0.01). The degree of patient satisfaction with the care process changed from 90.3% to 89.2% after the implementation of the clinical pathway, but the difference was of satistically significant(p=0.761). Unplanned readmission rate was 2.9% in the pre-pathway group. More than 90% of physicians and nurses answered that the clinical pathway had been a useful tool in their medical practice. Conclusions : The findings of the study demonstrated that implementation of the clinical pathway for gastrectomy produced substantial reduction in the length of hospital stay while improving the quality of patient outcomes. The computerized clinical pathway program can be used as one of the powerful patient management tools for reducing the practice variations and increasing the efficiency of care process in Korea hospital settings.

        위험물시설의 설치허가제도의 개선방안

        위험물시설의 설계를 할 수 있는 민간전문인을 양성함으로써 결과적으로 위험물시설의 안전성을 확보할 수 있으므로 위험물시설의 설계자를 일정한 능력을 가진 자로 제한할 필요성이 있다. 설계검사에 관한 허가진행은 전문성을 가진 공사에 설계검토를 신청하여 위험물시설의 안전성에 대한 확인을 받으면, 이를 근거로 시ㆍ도지사는 허가신청자의 결격사유나 기타 다른 법률상의 위반사항이 없는 한 허가를 하는 방안이 적합하다. 이를 위하여 한국소방검정공사는 설계와 중간검사 및 완공검사에 관하여 전문성을 증대할 수 있고, 소방법이 추구하는 목적에 적합한 것으로 사려된다. 한국소방검정공사에 위탁하는 과제와 민법상 설립된 일정한 기술력과 시설을 가진 비영리법인에게 위탁하는 과제를 분리하여 위탁하는 것은 가능하다. 이러한 경우에는 기술력과 시설이 중요한 것이기 때문에 민법상의 비영리법인으로 제한하는 것은 문제가 있고, 상법에 의하여 설립된 영리법인에 대하여도 기술력과 시설을 갖춘 경우에 제조소 등의 완공검사를 할 수 있는 단체로 지정할 수 있다. 이러한 소방법규의 내용은 위험물시설의 안전관리의 역사적인 발전에 기인한다. 이제 위험물시설의 완공검사에 대한 방향을 정하였기 때문에 특수공법인이 수행하여야 하는 과제와 민법상 지정단체 또는 상법상 지정단체가 수행하여야 하는 업무를 조정할 필요성이 있다. 업무조정을 위해서는 그 척도가 소방법이 되어야 하고, 법률의 목적과 원칙에 합당하여야 할 것이다. 위험물시설의 안전성확보를 목적으로 소방법이 특수공법인의 설립을 할 때에는 위험물시설의 안전성확보는 단순한 행정력으로 부족하고 전문기술력을 가진 기관이 필요하다는 입법권자의 의지가 있다. 국가는 위험물시설의 안전을 전문적인 기술력과 시설에 기초하여 확보하겠다는 의지를 소방법에서 확정하고, 특수공법인을 설립한 것으로 해석하여야 한다. 그러므로 입법의 취지에 합치하게 위험물시설의 안전성을 확보하는 데에 필요한 기술력을 집중하고, 발전시킬 수 있는 특수공법인에 과제와 책임을 부여함으로써 국가에 부여된 과제는 수행된다. In this case, because of the level of one's technique and facilities are important, to limit as a nonprobit corporation in The Civil Law give rise to trouble. Consequently, established a business corporation, which the level of one's technique and facilities, in accordance with The Commercial Law can assign inspection of construction completion. The contents of the Fire Services Act is caused by the historic growth of hazardous facilities's safety management. Because we decide on a course about completed inspection of hazardous substance, it is needed that adjust the task performed by a corporation of the exert skill and the duty performed by the task that a authorized corporation on the civil law or the commercial law To adjust the duty the Fire Service Act, that is suitable to the purpose and principle, should constitute a measure of the duty. With the object of insure the safety of the hazardous substance, when the fire survice act establish a corporation of the expert skill. There is the will of lawmakers that need organization to have the power of the professional technology. The state excise the will that insure the safety of hazardous materials facilities on the basis of the professioanl technology and facilities, and construct to establish a corporation of the expert skill. Therefore as concentrate on the technology to need to insure the safety of the facilities of hazadous substance to be suitable on the purpose of laws and take responsibility and reports to a corporation of the expert skill.       • 외부 긴장재에 의해 프리스트레스가 도입된 프리캐스트 콘크리트 상판의 극한하중

        프리캐스트 콘크리트 상판은 시공이 용이하기 때문에 교량 건설에 대한 적용이 늘고 있다. 프리캐스트 콘크리트 상판을 사용할 경우 횡방향 조인트에 인한 상판의 구조적 불연속 때문에 내부 긴장재를 이용하여 상판에 프리스트레스를 도입하기가 어렵다. 외부 긴장재를 사용할 경우 프리스트레스의 도입과 이후에 있을 상판의 보수 작업이 용이해 지기 때문에 외부 긴장재(external cable)를 이용하여 프리스트레스를 도입하는 방법이 실용적이다. 본 연구에서는 강재 거더에 정착을 시킨 외부 긴장재에 의해 프리스트레스가 도입된 세 개의 강합성교 시험체를 실험실에서 제작하여, 프리텐션과 포스트텐션의 두 가지 방법을 이용하여 시험체에 도입된 프리스트레스의 효과를 실험적으로 증명하였다. 외부 긴장재를 이용한 프리텐션과 포스트텐션의 효과를 하중 재하실험을 통하여 검증하였으며. 프리스트레스의 도입이 횡방향 조인트와 프리캐스트 상판의 극한강도에 미치는 영향도 검토하였다. Precast R.C. slabs are gaining an acceptance for the construction of bridge structures because of simplicity in their construction processes. One of the frequently encountered difficulties with precast slabs is an introducion of prestress. Deployment of internal tendons is not practical because of the existence of transverse joints between each precast slab. However, usage of the external tendons facilitates introduction of prestress on the precast slabs. Three steel-concrete composite bridge specimens, which are prestressed with the external cables, are constructed in the laboratory. Both pre-tension and post-tension methods are used to introduce prestress on the precast concrete slab. In this paper, prestressing methods using external cables are introduced and their effects in improving the ultimate loading capacity of the precast slabs and transverse joints are also reported.

      • 1:N 무선 통신 기반의 이동로봇 위치 추종에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we research about Multi.agent control mobile robots using the GPS and Bluetooth modules. In this system, we used the sign board model whieh transmits the information to unspecified robots. And also for Multi-Agent system, we made three mobile robots and used GPS and Bluetooth modules for robot's coordinate awareness and search direction. All mobile robots are installed with GPS and Bluetooth modules, receive Master-mobile’s robot position coordinates from GPS and then transfer to all mobile robots located within the communication possibility area of the Bluetooth module. Each Slave-mobile robots receive the position coordinate from Master -mobile robot and calculate distance and direction between eaeh robot. We implement the transfer algorithm of Multi-agent robots, manufacture mobile robots for Multi-agent control and propose the method of 1:N real time communication. Finally , we calculate the distance between the positions of each robot using the GPS data.

        치질에 흡수된 불소가 미세경도와 불소함량에 미치는 영향

        The Purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of fluoride uptake on microhardness and fluoride contents of tooth structure, Forty extracted human teeth were used, which were prepared proximal cavities. Experimental teeth were divided into five groups. Group 1: Prime & Bond NT and 2100 : Group 2 : Prime & Bond NT and F2000 : Group 3 : Scotchbond Multi-Purpose and 2100 : Group 4 : Scothcbond Multi-purpose and F2000 : Group 5 : Fuji Ⅱ LC. The cavities were filled with dentin adhesives and restorative materials. Teeth were coated 2 times with nail varnish. and immersed in a polypropylene tube. Tubes were stored in water bath at 37±0.5℃. After four weeks, the tooth was bisected longitudinally and the microhardness of the dentin and enamel were determined by indentation (at 30.100㎛ depth). The other halves were analyzed for fluoride by an EPMA-WDX device (at30, 100, 200㎛ depth). The results were as follows : 1. There was no correlation between the microhardness and amount of uptaken fluoride in the all groups. 2. There was no significant statistical difference in the amount of uptaken fluoride of the all groups in enamel without regard for groups and depth(p>0.05). 3. In the Group 2 and 5, EPMA-WDX result showed higher fluoride uptake of the. each depths in dentin(p<0.05). 4. At 30㎛ depth in dentin, EPMA-WDX result showed that group 2 had higher fluoride uptake than group 1 and 3 and group 5 had than the other groups. In conclusion, fluoride uptake increased by fluoride releasing materials. But, it was influenced by dentin bonding agents and surface conditions. Therefore, further study about relation between dentin bonding agent, surface coating, and fluoride uptake is necessary.

      • 열음향효과를 이용한 Lead Germanate 단결정의 상전이 연구

        Thermoacoustic signal which is gererated by the thermal waves have been measured from room temperature to 230℃. As a result, the intensity of thermoacoustic singal according to the variation of temperature is decreased remarkably at 177℃. Consequentely, the temperature of phase transition of the lead germanate single crystals is 177℃ and it is equal to Curie point, and it must be the displacement ferroelectricity of the second order phase transition.

        The dielectric properties of 〔(CH₃NHCH₂COOH)₃·CaCl₂〕single crystals are measured and discussed in the temperature range from 123K to 143K. 〔(CH₃NHCH₂COOH)₃·CaCl₂〕single crystals are grown from an aqueous solution by slow evaporation method. The phase transitions of 〔(CH₃NHCH₂COOH)₃·CaCl₂〕single crystals is second order and Curie constant of〔(CH₃NHCH₂COOH)₃·CaCl₂〕single crystals is about 56K.

      • Pb_5Ge₃O_11 단결정의 유전분산

        Dielectric constant of Pb5Ge3O11 single crystals is experimental device for dielectric constant of Pb5Ge3O11 single crystals in band from 100Hz to 1MHz of low frequency when the temperature range 300-500 of the real part (ε') and imaginary part (ε") of the dielectric constant. The infrared reflection spectra of Lead Germanate single crystals were also measured in the energy range 30-1000 cm-1 and analyzed group theoretically. The real part (ε') and imaginary part (ε") of the dieelectronic constant in the IR range were calculated by the Kramers-Kroing analysis. Soft mode is calculated from TO, LO phonon modes and refractive index. Real part (ε') of dielectric constant is calculated by Dielectric Dispersion Equation. In summary we conclude that dielectric relaxation of Pb5Ge3O11 single crystals in the law frequency is appeared at the Tc(462K) and dielectric dispersion in the infrared region is appeared at the high frequency.
