        전통 사상 및 교육 방법의 현대 도덕 교육과정에서의 활용 가능성 연구

        도덕은 하나의 철학적, 심리적 상념으로서도 존재하지만, 실천으로 이어져야만 비로소 도덕으로서 역할을 할 수 있게 된다. 기본적으로 도덕이란 타자가 자신과 공존할 때, 그 타자와의 관계에서 좋음(goodness) 또는 옳음(righteousness)을 추구하는 것이기 때문이다. 그런 도덕이란 대부분 본능적으로 체득할 수 없기에 도덕교육이 있게 되는데, 한국인의 경우 서구와 다른 도덕적 전통을 갖고 있으며 따라서 서구적 도덕교육으로 충분하지 않거나, 전통적 도덕교육을 활용함으로써 더 나은 교육이 이루어질 수 있는 가능성을 찾을 수 있다. 그런 견지에서 전통의 실천적 의미를 재해석하고 활용하는 일은 한편의 논문으로는 너무 방대한 과제이다. 그래서 이 글에서는 비교와 범주화, 그리고 활용의 편의를 위해 전통을 ‘근세 유교(조선왕조 이후의 유교) 전통’으로 한정짓고, 다시 도덕교육 가운데 현행 도덕과 교육의 교육과정을 전통 교육과정과 비교함으로써 일정한 성과를 얻고자 하였다. 전통 교육과정은 기(氣)의 발달에 근거하여 연령별로 단계별 학습을 시도했으며, 그 핵심 이념은 인(仁)과 의(義), 실천적 덕목은 효(孝), 제(弟), 자(慈), 직(直), 근(勤), 검(儉)이라고 정리해볼 수 있다. 여기서는 그러한 전통 교육 이념이 ‘자신과의 관계’, ‘타인과의 관계’, ‘사회 공동체와의 관계’, ‘자연·초월과의 관계’로 영역을 나누고 각기 지향할 가치, 실천할 덕목을 배정한 현 도덕과 교육의 체계와 상통할 수 있다고 보고, 그에 따라 교육 현장에서 실천할 몇 가지 전통-현대 융합적 교육 방안들을 제안하였다. Any moral ideas get integrity upon their practices. Because in human society systems, morality have capability among human interactions, for it gives moral standards(good or bad/ right or wrong) to them. And when the society system is Korean, Koreans surely have developed unique styles of moral practice and moral education in their traditional ages. So reinterpretating and categorizing the moral tradition for taking advantage of it in contemporary context, make sense. In this study, Korean moral tradition is focused in its scope, as ``Confucian moral tradition in semi-modern era``. For convenience of study and the potentials of effective revision, Korean tradition have been resized. In Confucian moral tradition, semi-modern Korean moral ideas could be presented as ren(仁) and yi(義). Furthermore, ren and yi could be practiced with several moral virtues, like xiao(孝), di(弟), ci(慈), zhi(直) qin(勤) gian(儉). When compared with contemporary moral education idea systems, the traditional system can have affinity with the systems in moral ideas division(``with-self morality``, ``with-others morality``, ``with-universe and transcendence morality``). And several fusion-style, integration-based education practices can be developed and applied at contemporary school moral education.

        메틸렌 클로라이드에 의한 폐장염

        Objectives: The authors report a case of pneumonitis caused by methylene chloride (MC). Methods: The patient was examined and diagnosed by clinical, radiologic, laboratorial and medical evaluation. The concentration of MC in the factory was measured to determine the exposure level. Results: The patient had an infiltration in chest X-ray, which underwent rapid relief of radiological finding, respiratory acidosis and hypoxemia in arterial blood gas analysis, and a ground-glass opacity in high resolution computerized tomography. MC was the only exposed chemical compound in this case. The concentration of MC was 39.9 ppm in the factory. Conclusions: We diagnosed this to be a case of pneumonitis by MC based on clinical laboratory findings, exposure history to MC and MC concentration in the factory.

        This study describes an interframe image coding method using motion compensated and classified vector quantization(MC-CVQ). In motion compensated vector quantization(MCVQ), it is very important to encode the significant block. Therefore, we propose the MC-CVQ which encodes the significant block in the motion compensated error image by the classified vector quantizer. We classify the significant blocks according to the positions of the significant vectors, and also classify the significant vectors into 15 classes according to the positions of the significant pels. The computer simulation shows that the signal-to-noise ratio and the average bits of MC-CVQ are 0.2-0.25 bits/pel and 35 to 37 dB, respectively.

      • 위암세포에 의한 종양침윤 림프구의 면역반응 억제기전에 관한 연구

        Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes ('1°ILs) interact most closely with tumor cells and thus are more likely to reflect tumor host interactions accurately. But it is unknown whether such T cells are nonspecific inflammatory cells or a subset of specific host immune responses. In this study, there was no clear correlation between the infiltration of T lymphocytes in stomach cancer and the overexpression of c-ErbB-2 or increasing class I MHC expression on tumor cells. A positive correlation was seen between the presence of TILs in the tumor and tumors with diploidy by flow cytometric DNA analysis. The proliferative responses of Ills stimulated with IL-2, anti-CD3 mAb, or both were examined. When compared to normal mucosal-associated lymphoid tissue lymphocytes, the proliferative response of TILs to high dose IL-2 was minimal. A similarly poor response to anti-CD3 mAb plus IL-2 was also observed. The freshly isolated TILs exhibit reduced ability to proliferate in response to IL-2, anti-CD3 mAb or both. The microenvironment of the tumor suppresses the proliferative capacity of the TILs. The mechanism of this suppression remains unknown. It could be mediated by suppressor cells, by soluble substances within the tumor, or both. To examine this question, supernatants of stomach cancer cells (SNSNU-1) were tested for the presence of immunosuppressive factors. Human peripheral blood T-cells and tumor-draining lymph node lymphocytes (TDLNL) were incubated for 3 days with SNSNU-1 and then assessed for proliferative responses to PMA, anti-CD28 mAb, or both and for the inducibility to express IFN- r or IL-4 mRNA to PMA. Peripheral blood T-cells pretreated with SNSNU-1 were unable to proliferate in response to PMA, anti-CD28 mAb or both. SNSNU-1 also produces inhibitory activities of TDLNL proliferative response to PMA or anti-CD28 mAb and PMA (49%, 52%, respectively). In contrast, culture supernatants obtained from HEp-2, K562 or Daudi showed normal proliferative responsiveness of peripheral blood T-cells and TDLNL by PMA, anti-CD28 mAb or both.

      • Skin-active Compounds in Syzygium Formosum Leaf Extract

        Phenolic compounds and triterpenoids are secondary metabolites of the plant that have among the compounds the beneficial functionalities of anti-bacterial, anti-oxidative, anti-allergic, or anti-inflammatory. Syzygium formosum (SF) leaves have long been used in traditional medicine by the Vietnamese for the treatment of skin-related diseases such as rashes, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. To understand the underpinning pharmacological mechanism of skin relief functionality, the quantitative profile of phytochemicals in the leaf extract has been performed. Twenty phytochemical components including eight flavonoids, three phenolic acids, and nine triterpenoids were identified and quantitatively analyzed from the SF leaves. The dominant flavonoids of the SF leaves were found to be catechin, myricetin-3-O-rhamnoside, and quercetin-3-O-arabinoside. Gallic acid was the most abundant phenolic acid. Among triterpenoids, asiatic acid, corosolic acid, and betulinic acid were identified as major compounds ranging from 12.21 - 49.41, 14.12 - 22.50, and 19.23 - 26.94 mg/g dry leaf, respectively. The total triterpenoid content in the ethanolic extract of the SF batches ranged from 62.60 - 109.54 mg/g dry leaf which was 10 - 20 fold higher than that in Centella asiatica (CA) leaves. In ultraviolet B induced keratinocyte inflammation model, SF extract which was prepared industrial scale significantly reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-8) and COX-2, while commercial CA extract affected much less changes. Furthermore, SF extract induced significant increase of COL1α1 gene expression in human dermal fibroblast cells. Our results proved that Syzygium leaf extract with high content of biologically active compounds could be a superior bioactive ingredient in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

      • 잠재의식 광고의 효과에 대한 연구

        The topic of subliminal stimulation has recently been explored by various new media and consumer publications, and subliminal stimulation is also the basis of three books by Wilson Bryan Key. They have renewed attention in subliminal advertising community regarding this activity has been nonexistent. Rebuttal from the advertising community regarding this activity has been nonexistent. and one could reasonably wonder why. A study of the effect of subliminal advertising seems necessary. Certain accusations have been made that advertisers are creating advertisings which contain subliminal embeds. The implication is that such methods invade consumer's subconsciouses and intrude on their purchase decisions. The main themes of the analysis are : 1. the effect of subliminal advertising on an individual's behavior(Emotional Responce, Cognitive Reponce, Purchase Intention), 2.the effect of subliminal stimulation's information on an individual's behavior. The results do not show that subliminal advertising affects on indivibual's behavior in analysis 1. In analysis 2, the results do not show that subliminal stimulation's information affects on Cognitive Responce and purchase Intention. But on Emotional Responce, the result show the effect of subliminal stimulation's information.

      • 배양중인 계배간충직세포의 protein kinase C 활성도 분석

        To investigate the relationship between protein kinse C (PKC) and chondrogenesis, PKC activity was assayed in cultures of stage 23/24 chick limb bud mesenchymal cells under various conditions. PKC activities of cytosolic and particulate fractions were low in 1 day cultured cells. As chondrogenesis proceeds, cytosolic PKC activity increased more than 2-fold, while that of the particulate fraction increased only slightly. Three days' treatment of cultures with PMA(5×10 exp (-8)M) inhibited chondrogenesis judged by the accumlation of Alcian blue bound to the extracellular matrix and depressed PKC activity in cytosolic fraction. When cells were grown for 3 days in control medium after 3 days' treatment with PMA, chondrogenesis resumed and PKC activity recovered to normal values. PKC activity in cultures plated at low density (5×10 exp (6) cells/ml) or that in PMA treated cells. On the other hand, staurosporine promoted chondrgenesis without affecting PKC activity. Furthermore, reversal of PMA's inhibitory effect on chondrogenesis by staurosporine was not accompanied by recovery of PKC activity. These data indicate that increases in PKC activity is closely related to chondrogenesis and that PMA inhibits chondrogenesis by depressing PKC. However, staurosporine's enchancing effect of chondrogenesis is not related of PKC activity.

      • 異功散의 免疫增强效果에 관한 實驗的 硏究

        This experimental study was carried out to evaluate the immunomodulatory effects of Ekong-san. To evaluate the immunomodulatory effects of Ekong-san, delayed type hypersensitivity, hemagglutinin and hemolysin titers for hymoral immune response, rosette forming cells for cell-mediated immune response, natural killer cell activity, proliferation of lymphocyte, productivity of Interleukin-2, and carbon clearance were measured with methotrexate treated mice. The results were summarized as follows; 1.The influence of the treatment on hemagglutinin and hemolysin titers, rosette forming cells, the proliferation of lymphocyte, and productivity of Interleukin-2 was dose-dependent and the results showed a significant difference when compared to control group. This implies that the humoral immune response was activated. 2.The natural killer cell activity was significantly increased in both sample groups as compared to the control group when the effector cell:target cell ratios were 100:1 and 0:1. However when the ratio was 10:1, there was no significant difference with the control group. 3.Carbon clearance, the proliferration effect of phagocytes was significantly increased sample group as compared to the control group. According to the results, Ekong-san has the immuno-activity. We could suggest that Ekong-san is able to be applied to the anti-cancer treatment and prevention.

        This study is based on the written inquiry about STAI as a measuring tool, which spielberger developed as a anxiety measure to examine what relationship is between the ability in athletic sports and anxiety. The female or male 153 players 918 to 21 years old) became the subject of this written inquire. Trait anxiety was measured by Form x-2 of STAI (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory) while state anxiety was measured by Form x-1. And then, we compared the records in everyday practices with those in games, and used these records as an ability in games. We tried to clarify the relationship between the ability in games and the anxiety. The subjects for the measurement is divided in the three groups of the athletics track sports; a short, a middle, a long-distance race, and the three groups of the athletics field sports; running, jumping and throw. Analysis-the correlation with the state-trait anxiety we measured the records of athletic sports, examined the influence that anxiety exerts on the ability in game, and compared and analyzed the level of anxiety in each event. We have received these results as the following. 1. The influence that anxiety exerts on the athletics records. The events of athletic sports the relation between the anxiety in everday life and the records in that time shows its correlation(r=-0.374, r=-0.361) only in 100m running, but this is not connected with the other events. But except the midium distance events all of the women and men players are connected with the relation detween the anxiety in game and the records. So, because the level of anxiety in the game affects the records in the game, the players need to practice the psychological control of themselves and a little anxiety is needed as a stimulant in everyday practices. 2. Anxiety and records in usual time and game. In events of athletic track sports there was a deep relation, except the event of women distance running (r=0.365), between the anxieties in normal times and in game; (0.50,r<0.70). And the event of men 100M running practicing records in normal times and those in games was not considered here. Therefore, the higher anxiety one has in normal times, the higher his anxiety tends to go up in games; the records in practicing times generally corespond to those in games though such relation is not always applied to the event of 100M running. 3. Anxiety in track and field athletic sports. There was no difference of anxiety in the events of track and field athletic sports between men and women players. Anxiety in games showed the difference in the mean value in all games and their players.
