This study examined divergent experiences of family leisure from parent, child, and family level perspectives. In particular, emphasis was placed on differences about family leisure activities and family leisure constraints among fathers, mothers, and their child. Questionnaires were completed by 100 families. The results indicated that there were significant differences in structural constraints among family members. There were negative relationships between family leisure activities and family leisure constraints. Further conclusions and implications were discussed.

ABA에 유도되는 Athb-12유전자의 발현 패턴

식물은 water stress를 Abscisic Acid (ABA)에 의한 신호전달 과정에 의해 반응하는 것으로 알려져 있는 데, homeobox gone인 Athb-12는 ABA에 의해 발현이 유도되는 것이 보고되어 water stress에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 예상되었다. Athb-12유전자의 promoter지역 약 2.1 Kb를 β-glucuronidase (GUS)와 fusion하여 transgenic tobacco를 제작하였다. 이를 이용하여 ABA처리시 어떠한 양상으로 발현하는 지를 관찰하였다. 또한 다른 환경stress에 어떻게 반응하는지 조사하기 위해 UV처리와 wounding처리를 하여 GUS의 발현을 관찰하였다. 이 결과들은 Athb-12가 ABA에 의한 반응 뿐 아니라, 전반적인 스트레스들의 반응에 관여할 가능성을 보여 주었다. It has been known that plant responds to water stress by ABA-mediated signal transduction. Since Athb-12, a homeobox gene from Arabidopsis, was reported to be inducible to ABA, it was expected to be important to plant response to water stress. About 2.1 kb DNA of Athb-12 promoter region was fused to f-glucuronidase gene and the resulting construct was used in making transgenic tobacco plant. ABA-treatment to the transgenics was observed. Other environmental stresses such as UV and wounding were also tested. The results obtained showed a possibility that Athb-12 is involved in plant responses to most environmental stresses as well as ABA.

서울올림픽기념관이 재현하는 서울올림픽 공식기억

This study explores how the official memory of Seoul Olympic is socially constructed. The Seoul Olympic Museum is chosen as the object because it represents and integrates the official memory of the event. At first, this study considers social construction of memory and cultural representation of memory and monuments, and foundation process of the Seoul Olympic Museum. After that, exhibition, the way of exhibition, flow of exhibition, the equipment of the museum are analyzed using social-semiotic method. As a result, they imply adversarial values titled Soviet Union and Eastern Europe vs. United States, harmony and peace vs. conflict and dispute, security vs North Korea, voluntarity vs. mobilization. And they boil down to justify the dominant ideology such as nationalism, developmentalism, and economic omnipotence. Absence of various memories which are not represented exist, which means that olympic memory is singular rather than plural and dissemble. Furthermore, those official memory is reproduced and passed down to the next generation through memorial ritual held every year, and education to the youth as a commemoration business at the museum. By examining official construction of Seoul Olympic memory, we may better the process of discursive (re)production of memories, that of the construction and distribution means of national ideology. 본 연구는 사회적 구성물로서 서울올림픽에 대한 기억작업이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지, 서울올림픽에 대한 공식기억의 내용은 어떠한지, 그리고 공식기억으로 남은 방식과 그 이유는 무엇인지를 살펴보고자 한다. 분석대상은 서울올림픽에 대한 공식기억의 집약체이자 대표적인 공식기억의 매개체라고 할 수 있는 서울올림픽기념관이다. 기념관이 재현하는 공식기억을 분석하기 위해 우선 서울올림픽기념관을 누가 왜 만들었는지 그 건립과정을 살펴보았다. 그리고 사회기호학적 방법을 적용하여 서울올림픽기념관의 전시내용, 전시공간, 전시동선 및 구성 등을 총체적으로 살펴보고 어떠한 공식기억들이 재생산하고 있는지 분석하였다. 연구 결과 서울올림픽기념관은 기념관 대 박물관, 소련 및 동구권 대 미국, 화합과 평화 대 갈등과 분쟁, 안전 대 북한, 자발 대 동원 등의 대립적인 가치를 함축하고 있으며, 이것은 국가주의, 민족주의, 경제만능주의, 선진국 담론 등의 수사를 통해 지배 이데올로기를 정당화하는 기제로 작동하였다. 또한 기념관에서 해마다 열리는 서울올림픽개최 기념식이나 교육사업 등을 통해 서울올림픽의 공식기억들은 재생산되면서 더욱 더 공고해지고 있었다.

인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용 소비자의 쇼핑 스타일에 따른 정보탐색행동

The purpose of this study was to analyze consumers' information search behavior in internet shopping. Questionnaires were completed by 338 men and women who have used internet shopping malls at least once during the previous 6 months. The internet shopping styles were classified into 4 clusters after factor analysis and k-means cluster analysis. Cluster I, named 'high brand proneness', can be described as having low score on devotee tendency. Cluster II, named 'high value proneness', is characterized by a high score on seeking substance. Cluster III, called 'steadiness orientation', can be described as having a low score on seeking trend and substance. Cluster IV, named 'individuality inclination', can be described as having low score on seeking trend. These four clusters differ in terms of amount of information search on product attributes, kinds of source information, and utilizing intentions of internet information searching. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed. utilizing intention of Internet information searching.

장기간의 생식 및 자연요법 식이 후에 발생한 Kwashiorkor 1례

Kwashiorkor는 주로 저개발국가에서 단백질과 칼로리 섭취가 극도로 결핍되고 부적절한 영양을 공급함으로써 나타나는 질환으로 영아 초기에서 5세 사이의 어린 영아에 주로 나타나는데 모유를 이유한 후 양질의 단백질과 칼로리가 심하게 부족한 이유식이나 음식을 장기간 섭취할 경우에 주로 나타나지만 식이에 대한 부적절한 지식으로 단백질을 제한함으로 질환이 발생하기도 한다. 저자들은 부모의 식이에 대한 부적절한 지식으로 장기간의 생식과 자연요법으로 단백질 섭취가 제한되어 kwashlorkor가 발생한 24개월된 남자환아를 1례 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Kwashiorkor occurs most commonly in areas of famine, limited food supply, and low levels of education leading to inadequate knowledge of proper diet. It is associated with extreme poverty in developing countries. It is the name given to the syndrome of severe protein malnutrition. Kwashiorkor is an African term that refers to a child from early infancy to 5 years of age who is no longer being breastfed. Signs and symptoms associated with the syndrome result from a lack of nutritional protein coupled with an excess of carbohydrates. We report on 1 case of Kwashiorkor caused by raw food and naturopathic medicine and present brief review of literature. The child presented at 24 months of age with generalized edema.

多樣한 黃芩藥鍼製劑의 安全性 및 效能에 關한 硏究

In order to detect the safety and effect of various aqua-acupunctures from Scutellariae Radix, the modifications of boiling, filtration and dilution were employed for the manufacture of aqua-acupunctures. We injected 0.2cc of aqua-acupunctures into Joksamri(足三里) of rat, repeatedly. we compared subacute toxicity of them with saline group, distilled water(D.W.) group, acupuncture group and control group. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The groups were all healthy and alive, and there was no special abnormality in physical condition and autopsy. And there were not any toxic symptoms in repeating application of aqua-acupunctures to the rat, including changes of body weight, organ weight, haematological examination and serum biochemical test. 2. There was slight change of body weight in acupuncture group : We could see significance after 3 days (p<0.05) and after 7 days (p<0.001) in body weight loss. After 9 days, all tested groups were suppressed in body weight increment. 3. Result of organ weight: In Palking aqua-acupuncture(D-2 group), saline group and acupuncture group there were some statistical significance. Especially, acupuncture group revealed significant result in liver and spleen than aqua-acupunctures. From this result, we could suggest that the efficacy of acupuncture was preceded herbal medicine. 4. In serum biochemical test, we examined glucose(GLU), triglyceride(TG) and cholesterol(CHOL). In comparison with control group, the diluted 10 times of hwanggum aqua-acupuncture (× 10 group) was recognized significant decrease of glucose, but the diluted 100 times of Hwanggum aqua-acupuncture (× 100 group), D-2 group, saline group were confirmed significant increment. There was not any meaningful change of CHOL in all of tested group, excepting the acupuncture group was exhibited statistically significant decrease(p<0.05). In TG level all tested group except complex injection of standard compound (CPA group) and HG, there were significant value in statistically. The diluted solution was more significant decrease than Hwanggaum aqua-acupuncture(HG). The mutual relationship of components of aqua-acupuncture tended to decrease level of TG, regardless of its concentration. In acupuncture group, we gained some interesting result in meaningful decrease in TG. 5. Haematological examination showed significant increment of gramulocytes(GR) in all tested groups except Hwanggum aqua-acupuncture. And the diluted solutions of HG expressed very high increment of them(p<0.001). The GR and Mean Corpuscular Volume(MCV) of acupuncture group showed statistical significance.
