This study was caried out to study the history changes of Korean tea life through the history, culture, folk customs and life habits. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The living culture of drinking tea began from the facts of drinking tea. The drinking tea became a drug for human body, and our mind was refined by its medical nature and maintained its safty. The life of drinking tea became one's living habits and developed into one's living courtesy. 2. It's said that the origin of drinking tea is same our buddhist culture. In the days of Queen Seon Deog(AD.632-646) Ja Jang Yue Sa took the seeds of tea from China and cultivated them on Bookdongeul mountain northwest Tong Do Temple. But people had the life of tea befere the time in Sina era. In the first record of the cultivating the tea tree an Dang Hoi sa Dae-Ryeon, kim cultivated the tea on Chiri mountain as national enterprice in Heung Deok, December. the third year by King, Heurg Doak(AD 820-836). The teas were cultivated and produced in the all country as the national enterprice because the importing teas by the trade and come-and-go of Buddhists were traded at high price. 3. The life of drinking tea was considered as the commandments of perfume, tea and rice in the ceremony of providing with food. The habits of drinking tea was necessary in stead of taking wine owing to the commandments of temperance. So, the habit of drinking tea mixing with the ceremony of Buddhist mass was transmitted into our country. 4. There is a record about tea that Chung Dam Sa, a Buddhist in rags provided with tea to a stone image of Buddha at San Hwa Ryeong on 3, march and 9, Setptember. At that time, he wrote a song, An Min Ga that admired his King ar an enlightened Buddhist monk attaining a spiritual state of perfect seflessness. He gave his pledge that he hoped King's wise government and virtue and expressed the spiritual world admiring the defense of the fatherland. 5. The drinking tea was closely connected with King, Kim Su Ro, in the life of tea, ancestral worship and cultivation. It is asid that King, Kim Su Ro have a relation with tea because Kim Dae Ryeom planted tea trees under the chil Bui Am, Temple which the seven princes of King, Kim Su Ro was turned into the living Buddhas, and his courtesy of ancestral worship. 6.The tea life was prevailing throuhout the coutry in Korea which Buddhism was the national policy and was handed the luvarious traditional culture of Silla. Then they used the letter Cha (tea) to the region name, Cha Jeon (tea field)and Cha Chon (tea village) etc. Tere was a Cha Cheong (tea office) Which manages tea in Koryo. when national function was happened the tea habit was widely prevalent at the official residense of prince in accordind to the tea courtesy. Koryo traded tea, tes vessel and tea culture with Sung. Koryo celadon was created through tea, and these were many famous tea men, Kyu-Bo Lee, In-no Lee, Mong-Ju Chung. 7. The tea life in Yi Dynesty failed off with the degeneration of Buddhism. But the famous tea men were handed down, and the tea life turned into folk customs and was handed down. Tea was changed into tea courtesy at ceremonies of marriage, funeral and ancestral worship, and the reception of guest. Tea was gotten out of a Zone of life in King, Tea Jong era. 8. Tea transmitting as tradition of Koryo was changed into tea courtesy. Byeol Gam, Hang Soo, Dr mok (an officer) managed the tea room which was attached to the ministry of interior. People called the man who worked at tea room 「Cha Mo」 and 「Nam Cha Mo」,and distinguished between then them and the ordinary persons. But after King, Seon Jo era this system had reduced to a shell and become a formal function. 9. There was a habit, Ta Si (tea time) at King, Tae Jong era and the officers of Sa Hean Bu were drinking tea and discussed then national offaics. 10. The life of drinking tea was gone at the court and aristocratic circles, but it was succeeded in the inner room of queen, court lady and a man of noble birth which is connected secretly to the monks of all temples in the country. 11. The tea monk of Yi Dynesty was saint, Seo San (AD. 15201604) who expressed the existence of eternal life and the defense of the fatherland as tea. The tea saint, Cho Eui (AD.1786) who lived at Il Je temple on mountain Du Ru in Hae Nan made directly tea and wrote a book, Dong Ta Song that was the first book about the tea in Korea. A realist, Yak Yong Chung(AD.1762) soothed his loneliness as tea during his 18 year's lives, and his pen name was Ta San (tea mountain). He organized Ta Sin Geoi(a kind of mutual financing association) and wrote a book, Dong Ta Gi expressing the spirit of litterary man as the tea life. Chu Sa, JeongHee Kim(AD.1786) who was a friend of saint, Cho Eui wrote many tea poems and tea books that was a tonic of tea life in Yi Dynesty. There were another persons, Jong-Jik Kim, Il-Pyeong moon who wrote a book about tea. The tea life had a great effect upon the arts and real life to this day. It can be said that the traditional spirit of nations and emotions are a mode of life of the white clad people(Korean).

The embrittlement of fast neutron-irradiated reactor pressure vessel (RPV) steels was investigated by X-ray diffraction patterns at room temperature and Mo¨ssbauer spectroscopy at room- and liquid nitrogen-temperature. Neutron fluence on the samples were 1012, 1013, 1014, 1015, 1016, 1017, 1018n/cm². The X-ray diffraction patterns at room temperature showed that the structure of neutron unirradiated sample was bcc type, where as but the neutron irradiated samples with the fluence higher than 1017 n/cm² were so severely damaged, that bcc type structure disappeared. The Mo¨ssbauer spectra of all samples showed superposition of two or more sextets. In this paper all Mo¨ssbauer spectra were fitted by three set of sextet. The isomer shift and quadrupole splitting values were found around zero. At liquid nitrogen temperature, magnetic hyperfine field increase rapidly to 480 ∼ 552 kOe at S1 sextet in the samples of 1017∼1018n/cm² neutron fluences. And room temperature, magnetic hyperfine field also increased rapidly to 480 ∼507 kOe at S1 sextet in the samples of 1017∼1018n/cm²neutron fluences. This rapid increase of magnetic hyperfine field was infered to be caused by the change of 56Fe, 55Mn into 57Fe by neutron irradiation.

This study is aimed to find out the effective method to guide students at industrial colleges on the ways to write. First, the discussion starts with identifying what your student's status is and diagnosing what level his or her writing ability is. For example, the students in the evening class usually have their jobs. It means that they may need to learn about practical writings. When it comes to their writing ability, we note in their writing assignments that they hardly ever have a basic training for composition. Considering these points, I tried to offer guidance suited to these students. Guidance to writing has three stages : first, encouraging learners to get over the feelings of fear in writing, secondly inspiring them to generate and organize ideas about topics, and lastly training them to present their thoughts and points. Through presentation training, students learn about writing process, preparing an outline, organizing paragraphs, and developing sentences step by step. We need to make sure the skills for composition are developed by practicing writing more often, not by learning mere theories. Accordingly, the instructor should have correct knowledge of teaching composition, and provide his or her students with as many opportunities to write as possible. These days, composition has become a part of our lives, not only for people of fantastic tastes. In this respect, I think everyone needs to have basic composition education for their daily uses.

Background: Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is a very uncommon disorder with the incidence between one and three cases per a hundred thousans a year. There have been very few studies about AIHA in Korea because of its low incidence. Most AIHA studies in Korea were about case history. The aim of this study was to review the clinical features, therapy and outcome of AIHA patients in single institution clinic. Methods: We reviewed retrospectively the medical records of AIHA patients from December 2002 to December 2006. Results: Twelve patient with AIHA were identified, and their median age was 49 years (range 27-75). Male to female ratio is 9:3. The median hemoglobin level was 5.0 g/㎗ (range 2.5-8.2). Warm type AIHA was most common (8/12), cold type was three, and mixed type was one. There was histories of associated disease in six patients. Two patients were complicated by systemic lupus erythematosus and mycoplasma infection and one patient by idiopathic myelofibrosis and solid tumor. Oral steroid was used as the first-line treatment in nine patients. An initial response was observed in eight patients with complete response. One patient had not responded to the initial steroid treatment, and then showed complete response with rituximab. Two relapsed patients were treated with rituximab and partial splenic embolization. Conclusion: The majority of patients can be treated with steroid. Rituximab can improve the response rate in relapsed and refractory AIHA.

In this thesis, I investigated the inclination to novel in the biographies of Lee Ok. This dissertation is a study to understand the novels of Lee Ok and a representative man of the Chosun Dynasty. Lee Ok, born in the disorderly late Chosun Dynasty, was alive an obscure life because he was ruined the upper class (Yang-Ban) during Chosun Dynasty. So his literary works represented about neglected common people class. His life had influence on literary works. Lee Ok wrote twenty three novels. Each of the twenty three novels didn't deal with in this study. This study discloses the variety of fictional techniques of Lee Ok. So this study fully examined one of the Lee Ok's novel (Sim-Seong-Jeon). His novel world, idea, and viewpoint of literature, based on his obscure life, are the recognition and limitation against social injustice. It is formed to his right recognition of history, and to the criticism of society in consistency to sympathy for pityful people. His literary works have the resistances against the social inconsistency.

The purpose of this study was to develop a new ^13C-urea-containing capsule for diagnosis of H.pylori. The urea-containing capsules were prepared with various diluents such as polyethylene glycol (PEG), microcrystaline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and citric acid. The dissolution test, ^13C-urea breath test and stability test were then performed on the capsules. Microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate retarded the initial dissolution rates of urea. However, PEG increased the initial dissolution rates of urea. Furthermore, two formulae composed of PEG,[^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] and [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9/1.9 mg/cap)] had the maximum DOB value. about 16 at 20 min, while the formula composed of only 38 mg ^13C-urea had the maximum DOB value at 30 min. The results indicated that PEG improved the sensitivity of ^13C-urea in the human volunteers. The capsule [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] was stable for at least six months in 25 and 37℃. Thus, a PEG-containing capsule, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] would be a more economical, sensitive and stable perparation for diagnosis of H. pylori.

Evans syndrome is defined as a simultaneous or sequential occurrence of autoimmune hemolytic anemia and autoimmune thrombocytopenia. Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is usually induced by IgG warm autoantibody or cold-active IgM antibodies reacting specifically with antigens associated with a patient's RBC. AIHA is a fairly uncommon disorder, with estimates of the incidence at 1 to 3 cases per 100,000 per year. Mixed-type AIHA is a relatively uncommon form of AIHA, with studies noting the incidence of 7-8% among cases of AIHA. We experienced a patient, 46-year-old woman who was diagnosed having a very rare clinical presentation of mixed warm and cold antibody mediated Evans syndrome. She was treated with corticosteroid therapy only and has been maintaining a complete response for 15 weeks.

Kim, Sang-Gon,Wang, Yiming,Lee, Chang-Hoon,Chi, Yong-Hun,Kim, Keun-Ki,Choi, In-Soo,Kim, Yong-Chul,Kang, Kyu-Young,Kim, Sun-Tae The Korean Society of Environmental Agriculture 2011 한국환경농학회지 Vol.30 No.4
BACKGROUND: Potassium (K) is one of the macronutrients which are essential for plant growth and development. Its deficiency in paddy soils is becoming one of the limiting factors for increasing rice yield in Asia. METHODS AND RESULTS: To investigate physiological symptoms under K-starvation (NP) compared with complete media (NPK) condition, we measured shoot/root length, weight, nutrients, and patterns of protein expression. The shoot growth was significantly reduced, but root growth was not affected by K-starvation. However, biomasses were decreased in both shoot and root. Uptake of K was reduced up to 85%, while total concentrations of P, Ca, Mg, Na were increased in root and shoot. To better understand the starved K mechanism of rice, comparative proteome analysis for proteins isolated from rice leaves was conducted using 2-DGE. Five spots of differentially expressed proteins were analyzed by MALDI-TOF MS. Analysis of these K-starvation response proteins suggested that they were involved in metabolism and defense. CONCLUSION(s): Physiological and 2-DGE based proteomics approach used in our study results in observation of morphology or nutrients change and identification of K-starvation responsive proteins in rice root. These results have important roles in maintaining nutrient homeostasis and would also be useful for further characterization of protein function in plant K nutrition.
