컨조인트 분석을 활용한 프로스포츠 팀 지도자 역량 구성요인의 상대적 중요도 및 스포츠팬 세분화에 관한 연구

본 연구는 먼저 프로스포츠 팀 지도자 역량 구성요인에 대해 알아본후 스포츠팬의 관점에서 이 요인들의 상대적 중요도를 알아보고 이를 바탕으로 스포츠팬 세분화를 실시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 또한, 연구를 통해 향후 프로스포츠 지도자를 꿈 꾸는 사람들이나 프로스포츠 구단에게 성공적인 지도자의 역량과 자질에 대한 기준을 제시할 수 있다는 데 본 연구의 의의가 있다. 구체적으로 프로스포츠 팀 지도자가 갖추어야 할 역량을 ‘태도 및 철학’, ‘카리스마 리더십’, ‘기술적 전략’, ‘선수관리 및 육 성능력’으로 도출하고, 스포츠팬 입장에서 4가지 역량의 상대적 중요성을 컨조인트 분석을 활용하여 탐색해 보았다. 그리고 이 4가지 역량에 대해 개개인의 선호도를 바탕으로 K-평균 군집분석을 실시하여 4개의 군집으로 나눈 후, 각각의 군집이 인구통 계학적 변수와 프로스포츠 관련 변수에 어떤 연관성을 가지고 있는지 카이제곱 검정을 통해 구체적으로 탐색해보았다. 연구의 수행을 위해 측정도구로써 설문지를 사용하였으며 총 300부가 배부되었고, 이 중 자신이 스포츠팬이라고 응답한 총 230명의 설문지가 최종 분석 자료로 사용되었다. 설문자료는 Windows용 PASW win ver. 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석을 실시하였 다. 이상의 연구방법을 통하여 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘태도 및 철학’, ‘카리스마 리더십’, ‘기술적 전략’, ‘선수관리 및 육성능력’의 4가지 프로스포츠팀 지도자 역량 구성요 인 중 스포츠팬들은 상대적으로 지도자의 ‘선수관리 및 육성능력’을 가장 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로 는 ‘태도 및 철학’, ‘카리스마 리더십’, ‘기술적 전략’순으로 그 중요성을 인식하였다. 둘째, 프로스포츠팀 지도자의 4가지 역량에 대해 컨조인트 분석 결과 도출된 개개인의 선호도를 바탕으로 K-평균 군집 분 석을 실시한 결과, 총 4개의 군집이 생성되었으며, 군집 1은 ‘기술적 전략’을, 군집 2는 ‘카리스마 리더십’을, 군집 3은 ‘태도 및 철학’을 군집 4는 ‘선수관리 및 육성능력’을 각각 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 4개의 군집과 인구통계학적 변수들의 연관성을 알아보기 위해 카이제곱 검정을 실시한 결과, 연령과 직업, 월 소득 변수들은 4개의 군집과 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 성별과 거주 지역, 최종학력 변수들은 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 4개의 군집과 응답자의 프로스포츠 선호에 관련된 변수들 사이에서 경기장 방문 횟수, 선호하는 국내프로야구팀, 국 내프로농구팀 변수들은 4개의 군집과 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 프로스포츠 선호 종목, 선호하는 국내프로축구팀, 국내프로배 구팀 변수들은 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relative importance of component factors on the competencies of professional sports team coaches and to conduct the segmentation of sports fans related to coaches`` competencies focused on the viewpoint of sports fans. In this study, competencies of professional sports team coach were classified as ``attitude and philosophy``, ``charismatic leadership``, ``technical strategy``, and ``athlete management and development``, and in terms of sports fans, the relative importance of 4 competencies was investigated by using conjoint analysis. In addition, based on the individual preferences, all participants were subdivided into 4 clusters via k-means cluster analysis. Lastly, from Chi-square test, the relationships among individual clusters and ``demographic/pro-sports preference`` variables were concretely identified. A total of 300 copies of survey questionnaires were distributed, and 230 data were used for the actual analysis. The data were analyzed using PASW WIN ver. 18.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, among 4 competencies, coach``s ``athlete management and development`` was the most important competency influencing the participants`` preferences, followed by ``attitude and philosophy``, ``charismatic leadership`` and ``technical strategy``. Second, on the basis of individual preferences, total 4 clusters were generated via k-means cluster analysis. More specifically, cluster 1 showed the higher preference in ``technical strategy``, cluster 2 was ``charismatic leadership``, cluster 3 was ``attitude and philosophy``, and cluster 4 was ``athlete management and development``. Third, Chi-square test were conducted to investigate the relationships among 4 clusters and demographic variables. The results showed that there were significant differences among 4 cluster and variables of ``age``, ``occupation``, and ``monthly income``, but no significant differences among 4 clusters and variables of ``gender``, ``residential district``, and ``academic career``. Fourth, there were significant differences among 4 clusters and variables of ``stadium visiting frequency``, ``favorite pro-baseball team``, and ``favorite pro-basketball team``, but no significant differences among 4 clusters and variables of ``favorite professional sports``, ``favorite pro-soccer team``, and ``favorite pro-volleyball team``.
