PURPOSE This study investigated the relationship among negotiation, constraints, self-efficacy, and physical activity in Chinese elderly. METHOD Elderly participants who agreed to complete a questionnaire were recruited from five cities in Hunan province. A total of 300 valid questionnaires were collected and analyzed using SPSS and AMOS 26. RESULTS We found that negotiation has a direct positive impact on physical activity and negotiation has an indirect positive impact on physical activity via self-efficacy and constraints. • Critical Factors in the Decision-making Process of Chinese Mass Taekwondo Consumers: Application of Goal-oriented Behavior Model

( Shuai Zhang ),( Xingyu Xie ),( Shanqing Wan ),( Xiaodai Jia ) 아시아스포츠융합과학회 2021 Asia Pacific Journal of Applied Sport Sciences Vol.2 No.1

PURPOSE This study uses the extended model of goal-oriented behavior to predict and test the behavioral intentions of Chinese public Taekwondo consumers. Based on the original MGB, the study adds five variables related to Taekwondo consumption characteristic to investigate the influencing factors of general Taekwondo consumers' consumption decision-making process. METHOD This study conducts an online survey of 417 students studying in the Chinese Taekwondo Gymnasium and uses IBM SPSS statistical software 26.0 and AMOS 23.0 to analyze the data. Then, the data analysis is divided into two stages. In the first stage, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) is used to test the reliability and validity of the scale. In the second stage, a structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis is employed to test the proposed hypotheses. RESULT The CFA test shows that the data and the model have a good fit, and the model has high combined reliability and convergence validity. And through the modification of the model, a SEM is established. CONCLUSION The results show that desire has the most significant impact on consumers' behavioral preference, followed by past satisfaction and Taekwondo coach image. Past satisfaction significantly affects desire, which in turn affects consumersʼ behavioral preference. The two constructs of Taekwondo cognition and perspective form a positive and significant relationship. In addition, perspective has developed a considerable influence relationship with past satisfaction and Taekwondo coach image, which influences behavior preferences. Expected emotions significantly affect past satisfaction, which indirectly affects desire and consumer behavioral intentions.

( Qiwei Yang ),( Xin Qi ),( Shihao Huang ),( Chuan Yi ),( Yinggang Chen ) 아시아스포츠융합과학회 2021 Asia Pacific Journal of Applied Sport Sciences Vol.2 No.2

PURPOSE The main purpose of this study is to test the structural relationship between motivation, involvement, satisfaction and loyalty of university basketball participants in China. METHOD The study took the participants of basketball clubs from five universities in Hunan Province as the subject. 846 questionnaires were collected and 800 were used in this study. SPSS24 and AMOS were used for this research. RESULT The results show that the motivation of basketball club’s participants has a significant positive impact on involvement, satisfaction and loyalty; Involvement has a significant positive effect on satisfaction and loyalty; Satisfaction has significant positive influence to loyalty. Finally, involvement and satisfaction can play a partial mediating role between motivation and loyalty. CONCLUSION This study verifies the structural relationship between motivation, involvement, satisfaction and loyalty of Chinese college basketball club participants. Motivation is the most important factor affecting participants’ loyalty, while involvement has the least impact on participants’ satisfaction and loyalty. Consequently, the PE management staff in university should attach more importance the motivation of participants in order to attract more students to participate in basketball activity and maintain their interests.

( Mingliang Zhang ),( Kyungsik Kim ) 아시아스포츠융합과학회 2021 Asia Pacific Journal of Applied Sport Sciences Vol.2 No.3

PURPOSE This study aimed to investigate: 1) the change of the key research keywords by period; 2) the key symbolic keywords that represent 20 years of ski research; 3) the sub-research area of ski research. METHOD We searched international journal articles on Web of Science websites and used bibliometrics and keyword networks to determine ski related research trends. To this end, we researched ski sub-research areas of 873 papers published between 2000 and 2019 in 69 international journals involving ski research. This study used python for bibliometrics and word frequency statistics, and centrality analysis cohesion analysis for Netminer. RESULT There have been changes in the keywords for ski research in different time periods. Keywords such as skiing, injury, skier, sports, athlete, training etc. were important in the 2000s. In 2010s, keywords such as speed, strength, women, system, jumping were deemed to be important. In the 2000s, co-words such as knee-injury, sport-injury, ski-downhill, injury-pattern were important, while co-words such as cup-world, level-skill, female-male, illness-injury were particularly important in the 2010s. In the past 20 years, ski research has mainly focused on three major projects’ analysis: cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, and snowboarding. Ski, skier, injury, performance, athlete, sport, time, training have been the core keywords of ski research in the past 20 years. Co-words such as alpine-ski, cross country-skier, alpine-skier are research priorities in the ski field. These keywords represent the research direction in the ski field and development trends. Finally, sub-research area of ski includes four groups: ski and measure, ski and training, ski risk and injury, and ski and technique. CONCLUSION A few core keywords have made a relatively large contribution to the formation of ski knowledge structure; keyword network analysis provides new ideas and research methods for exploring the ski structure and development trends, which is a major academic breakthrough.

      • Effects of Functional Strength Training Program on Functional Movement Screen and Y Balance Test in Physical Education Students

( Jing Li ),( Yi Liu ) 아시아스포츠융합과학회 2021 Asia Pacific Journal of Applied Sport Sciences Vol.2 No.3

PURPOSE To explore the effect of functional training on the FMS score and YBT test of sports college students with high risk of sports injury. METHOD A total of 42 students from 2 classes of the second-year physical education major of Shaoguan University were selected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into an experimental group (n=21) and a control group (n=21). A 12-week functional training program was added to the physical education class of the experimental group, and the traditional strength training program was used in the control group. FMS test and YBT test were conducted one week before and one week after the 12-week training intervention. The collected data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 21.0 for Window. In this paper, independent-sample t test is used to compare the changes of FMS scores and action completion quality between the two groups before and after training, and paired-samples t test is used to test the scores of FMS and YBT before and after training. RESULT In the first FMS and YBT test, there was no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group. After 12 weeks, the total FMS score of the experimental group participating in functional training was significantly different from that of the control group participating in traditional strength training (p<0.01). The test scores of left and right legs in YBT test were also better than those of the control group. CONCLUSION Experiments have proved that functional training can significantly improve the core strength and body balance and stability of sports college students, and can effectively reduce the incidence of sports injuries. It also provides some reference for the scientific application of functional training in physical education class.
