Every building orgarization needs the adoption of a standard classification system. UDC has been in operation for a long time. But more attemps to improve and develop it are demanded. The study here has reviewed the application of UDC to the current bibliography published by Japan information center for science and Technology. Results of the survey of above system as applied to building field are discussed. In addition their remedies are proposed.

This article deals with graphical method of water hammer analysis for series pipes with veriable section area and compound pipes equipped with a one-way surge tank along the pipe lines. Two cases are considered for instanteneous valve closure at down streamer' of pipe: first, with hydraulic loss and second, without it. The hydraulic transients of pipe lines are compared with the water hammer solutions by the approximate method that deals with the equivalent pipe lines and the exact calculations. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The graphical solutions by the approximate method are in nearly good agreement with the exact calculations. 2. The pressure head ratio with hydraulic loss is slightly larger than that without it.
Freeway와 버스 專用路線에서 버스 優先通行方法과 美國에서의 適用經驗에 관한 分析

都市에서 일어나고 있는 제반활동을 收容할 수 있도록 交通施設이 適切하게 供給되지 못하면 交通滯症이 發生하고 都市開發은 低下한다. 이러한 交通滯症現像은 大部分 Peak時에서 일어나고, 美國과 같은 우수한 Freeway Network을 갖추고 있는 나라에서도 심각한 問題로 등장하고 있다. 따라서 混雜을 招來하는 Peak時의 交通需要를 充足시킬수 있는 새로운 交通 mode의 開發이 時急하다. 이러한 問題에 對한 解決策의 한 方案으로 버스의 高速化運用이 擧論되고 一部 美國의 都市에서는 이미 採用되고 있다. 本 論文에서는 美國에서 경험하고 있는 버스高速化를 爲한 方法과 그 經濟性을 比較分析하였다.

The contact between a piston rod and its pin is formulated as a two-body elastic contact problem. Each flexibility matrix is calculated using SAPⅣ program. The gap between the piston rod and its pin is treated as a variable and the change of contact area according to gap size is investigated. By changing the shape of the piston rod, the trend in the contact stress distribution is discussed. It was found that when the bottom of the piston rod is flat, the contact stress is more evenly distributed. Hence this flattened shape is preferred for better service of the mechanism.
Electro-hydraulic 서어보驅動의 減衰에 依한 壓力피이드백의 動特性

The Electro-hydraulic servo-drive system with the pressure feedback was compared with the system without the pressure feedback. The Electro-hydraulic servo-drive with the low damping ratio is not satisfied with the transient response. The system with the pressure feedback was increased the damping ratio and the system was critically damped according to selection of the the appropriate time constant Td of the pressure feedback elements. The transient response of the system with the pressure feedback was improved more than that of the system without the pressure feedback.
積分 方程式을 利用한 potential flow 問題의 解析

Two-dimensional potential flow problems of arbitrary shapes are formulated as integral equations and numerical method by using a modified Simpson's rule is introduced. The numerical method introduced is applicable to any integral equations with logarithrmic potential of single and double layer and can be very easily programmable on a computer. A numerical example for the flow past a circular cylinder was given and compared with the exact solution. The results show good agreement with theoretical solutious.

The present investigation was carried out in order to determine the effect of calcium oxide, barium oxide and zinc oxide, separately and in combination, on manganese stain in a fritted glaze. All glaze ingredients except the kaolin and glaze stain were incorporated in the frits. Throghout the series, the sodium oxide, potassium oxide, aluminum oxide, boric oxide, zirconium oxide and silicon dioxide were kept constant. The amount of pink stain was maintained at 5 percent of the batch weight of each glaze. In all cases the variable of RO element was 0.5 equivalent. Data relating to color variation due to glaze composition are presented.

A continuously tunable sinusoidal oscillator circuit is proposed which contains only six resistors and two operational amplifiers represented by their single-pole model. The circuit can be made to oscillate by adjusting a resistor ratio. It's frequency can be controlled over a wide range by a single grounded resistor which is independent of condition of oscillation. This single grounded resistor can be made voltage dependent by a simple FET circuit, resulting in a voltage-controlled oscillator. Experimental results in room temperature are presented.

Variations of major electrical design parameters of electric smelting furnace for ferrosilicon(75‰Si) making with increasing furnace capacity were discussed with emphasis on relationship between design parameter and electrode diameter. Necessary data about furnaces, which are operating in good condition, was obtained through a wide literature survey. Results obtained are summarized as follows 1. Optimum operating furnace load increases with increasing electrode diameter as shown in following regression equation with deviation less than ±15%. P=(5.04D³+521.3D²)×10^(-3) 2. Generally electrode spacing appears to range from 2.2 to 2.4 times of electrode diameter. 3. Optimum range values of both electrode power density and hearth power density tend to increase linearly with increasing electrode diameter. 4. Equivalent specific resistance of charging mix tends to range from 0.4 to 0.5Ω cm although it is. subject to some variation depending on characteristics of raw materials. 5. Electrode current density seems to range from 6 to 7 A/㎟.
Weighted capacitor Network 를 이용한 능동 여파기 특성의 디지탈제어에 관한 연구

The capacitors in a integrated circuit form have more temperature stability and linearity than the resistors. Accordingly, in this paper, we use the weighted capacitor network to digitally control the center frequency of state-variable active filters with its Q-factor remained constant. Experimental results at room temperature are given for a bandpass, constant Q section which digitally tunable over two decades of frequency, 100 Hz to 10 KHz.
