      • Exploring the Significance and Interpretation of Animal Motifs in Rock Art: A Systematic Review

        Rock art has been a subject of fascination for scholars, archaeologists, and enthusiasts for centuries due to its unique aesthetic qualities and cultural significance. This systematic review paper provides an overview of the significance of rock art motifs and their interpretations. Through a comprehensive analysis of the literature, we identified common rock art motifs and themes, as well as various interpretative approaches and theoretical frameworks used to understand the meanings and contexts of these motifs. The review also explores variations in interpretations across time and space and discusses the implications of these findings for rock art studies. The results reveal that rock art motifs and their interpretations are shaped by diverse cultural, social, and historical contexts, and that interdisciplinary and community-engaged research is needed to better understand, preserve, and appreciate this unique cultural heritage. The limitations and recommendations for future research are also discussed. This review contributes to our understanding of the cultural, symbolic, and aesthetic significance of rock art and highlights the importance of interdisciplinary perspectives and engagement with local communities in the study and conservation of rock art sites and cultural heritage.

      • The Impact of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) on Intra-Industry Trade: An Empirical Analysis Using a Panel Vector Autoregressive Model

        Purpose – This study aims to examine the dynamic relationship between the variables impacted by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the level of intra-industry trade among member states, with the ultimate objective of deducing the short- and long-term effects of RCEP on trade. Design/methodology – This study focuses on tariffs, GDP growth rates, and the proportion of regional FDI to total FDI as research variables, and employs a panel vector autoregression model and GMMstyle estimator to investigate the dynamic relationship between RCEP and intra-industry trade among member countries. Findings – The study finds that the level of intra-industry trade between member states is positively impacted by both tariffs and intra-regional FDI. The impulse response graph shows that tariffs and FDI within the region can promote intra-industry trade among member countries, with a quick response. However, the contribution rates of tariffs and intra-regional FDI are not particularly high at approximately 1.5% and 1.4%, respectively. In contrast, the contribution rate of GDP growth can reach around 8.5%. This implies that the influence of economic growth rate on intra-regional trade in industries is not only long-term but also more powerful than that of tariffs and intra-regional FDI. Originality/value – The originality of this study lies in providing a new approach to investigating the potential impact of RCEP while avoiding the limitations associated with the GTAP model. Additionally, this study addresses existing gaps within the research, further contributing to the research merit of the study

        Effect of High-Energy Electro-Pulses on the Compression Deformation Behavior of Ti-6Al-4V Alloy

        Compression tests of Ti–6Al–4V alloy were conducted using an electron universal testing machine with discharge voltages that range from 50 V to 70 V and strain rate of 0.01 s −1 . Isothermal compression at equivalent temperatures was also performed on a universal testing machine with furnace, with the same strain rate. Results show that the deformability of Ti–6Al–4V alloy can be significantly improved by high-energy electro-pulses, and the deformation resistance and yield stress were also decreased. Moreover, the effect of high-energy electropulses on compression mechanical properties of Ti–6Al–4V alloy increased with increasing discharge voltage. However, elongation and deformation resistance of compressions with high-energy electro-pulses were higher than isothermal compressions at equivalent temperatures. This result proved that the deformability improvement of Ti–6Al–4V alloy by high-energy electro-pulses results from the joint effects of temperature and electro-plasticity. Fracture modes in different experimental conditions were analyzed by observing the fracture morphologies of specimens by using a scanning electron microscope. Under high-energy electro-pulses, the micro morphology of compression fracture changes from elongated oval to equiaxed dimples, and the fracture modes transfer from intergranular to transgranular fracture.

        Influence of Glass-Lined V-Shaped Stirrers on Crystallization Properties

        In the crystallization process, the quality of crystal formation is signifi cantly aff ected by the stirring mechanism. Typically, the effi ciency of mixing is directly correlated with the rotational speed of the stirrer. Nevertheless, elevated stirring speeds can lead to the fragmentation of crystal nuclei, thereby exerting a detrimental infl uence on the overall crystallization quality. To address such issue, a glass-lined V-shaped stirrer with a better stirring eff ect under low-speed conditions was developed in the present study. Particular attention was paid to providing a better stirring eff ect under low-speed conditions. The computational fl uid dynamics (CFD) numerical simulation method was employed to conduct a comparative analysis of the fl ow fi eld distribution when subjected to the infl uence of a V-shaped stirrer in comparison with two frequently employed stirrers. The velocity fi eld, turbulence intensity, particle distribution and heat transfer rate were analyzed, and experimental measurements of the mixing time were conducted. The fi ndings from the present study reveal that when the stirring paddle was operated at a speed of 80 rpm, the V-shaped stirrer exhibited a larger circulation range compared with the other two stirrers. Further, the overall turbulence intensity in the fl ow fi eld was higher, ensuring a more homogeneous distribution of crystal nuclei. Additionally, the heat transfer rate was found to be signifi cantly faster, contributing to improved crystallization effi ciency and higher-quality crystallization products. The utilization of the glass-lined V-shaped stirrer off ers the advantage of improved mixing effi ciency in the crystallization process, while maintaining the crystal quality. This innovation has the potential to bring about a transformative shift in manufacturing processes and contribute to advancements in the fi eld of crystallization.

      • Method for Network Traffic Generation Based on User Behavior of Streaming Media

        Existing traffic generation methods generate traffic by the flow generator structured and then sent data packets, which had two problems, one is that the traffic generated is not enough authenticity, the other one is that the rate of flow is not high. For coping with the method for network traffic generation based on user behavior of streaming media and streaming media server was presented. The test results show that comparing with D-ITG, the size of traffic produced by this method has been obviously improved, and its principle indicates that the flow is highly authentic. The proposed method breaks through the traditional thinking of traffic generator sends packet by itself, which decreases the difficulty of the realization of the traffic generator and has good reference value for the researches and development of traffic generator.

        With the development of network and storage technology, providing a shareable and convenient cloud storage service has become a major new application mode and development trend of internet, however, the system scale is huge and storage content is variable, so traditional performance evaluation and testing method are no suitable for cloud storage platform. This paper provides the thinking of performance evaluation of cloud storage system, sets up multiple-index 3D evaluation system facing different users and adaptable to different stages. It applies cloud testing with cloud scheme to test node visiting performance in different physical positions.

        Mussel Adhesive Protein/platelet-rich Plasma Composite-coated Titanium Surfaces Increase Functionality of Dermal Fibroblasts

        Bacterial invasion and epithelial downgrowth with pocket formation are still severe clinical challenges for transcutaneous implants, and both have a close relationship with the lack of a stable biological seal around the transcutaneous parts. Dermal fibroblasts are the main cells in the skin tissue and have been proven to play vital roles in the formation of biological seals. In this work, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which can release high concentrations of natural cytokines upon activation, was used to stimulate rapid fibroblast growth. Mussel adhesive proteins (MAPs) were used as mediators to anchor the platelets in the PRP onto Ti surfaces, and MAP/PRP composite-coated Ti surfaces were constructed successfully. This in vitro study indicated increased fibroblast adhesion (P < 0.05), spreading, and proliferation (P < 0.05) and upregulated extracellular matrix-related gene expression (P < 0.05) on a MAP/PRP composite-coated Ti surface compared with a control smooth Ti surface. Our results suggest that MAP/PRP composite-coated Ti surfaces are potentially useful for the formation of a stable biological seal in transcutaneous areas.

        Mobility Scenarios into Future Wireless Access Network

        The rapid growth of smart devices demands an enhanced throughput for network connection sustainability during mobility. However, traditional wireless network architecture suffers from mobility management issues. In order to resolve the traditional mobility management issues, we propose a novel architecture for future wireless access network based on software-defined network (SDN) by using the advantage of network function virtualization (NFV). In this paper, network selection approach (NSA) has been introduced for mobility management that comprises of acquiring the information of the underlying networking devices through the OpenFlow controller, percepts the current network behavior and later the selection of an appropriate action or network. Furthermore, mobility-related scenarios and use cases to analyze the implementation aspects of the proposed architecture are provided. The simulation results confirm that the proposed scenarios have obtained a seamless mobility with enhanced throughput at minimum packet loss as compared to the existing IEEE 802.11 wireless network.
