본 연구에서는 여단급 과학화전투훈련 체계의 경제적 효과를 2가지 측면에서 분석하였다. 첫째, 2010년부터 2018년까지 대대급에서 여단급으로 확장된 과학화전투훈련 전력화사업에 대한 경제적 파급효과를 산업연관분석을 통해 생산유발 효과, 부가가치유발 효과, 고용유발 효과로 분석하였다. 둘째, 여단급 과학화전투훈련을 통한 예산 절감효과 분석을 위해 여단급 과학화전투훈련에 투입된 비용과 실탄을 사용하는 여단급 실기동 훈련의 투입된 비용 간 비용분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 여단급 과학화전투훈련 전력화사업 간 4,449억원이 투입되어 생산유발 효과 6,883억원, 부가가치 유발 효과 4,777억원, 고용유발 효과는 4,795명인 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 전력화사업 이후 여단급 과학화전투훈련을 통한 예산 절감효과는 1회 훈련기준 약 230억원이 절감되는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 육군에서 지속적으로 추진하고 있는 과학화훈련 관련 사업에 대한 타당성 확보 및 대외홍보를 위한 자로 활용할 수 있는 객관적 자료를 제시하였다. This study analyzed the economic effects of the KCTC System force integration project expanded from the battalion level to the brigade level from 2010 to 2018 in two aspects. First, using the input-output table issued by the Bank of Korea, the input-output analysis method, which analyzes the linkage structure and ripple effect between industries, was used to generate production inducement and the added value and employment inducement were analyzed. Second, as of 2020, the budget reduction effect of KCTC on a one-time basis was examined through a comparative analysis between the cost of a brigade-level actual maneuvering training using live ammunition and the cost of KCTC training of the same scale. The budget saved by one-time brigade-level KCTC training was approximately 23 billion won. The economic ripple effect was 688.3 billion won in production inducement, 477 billion won in value-added inducement, and 4,795 people in employment inducement effects. Finally, the analysis results derived through this study presented objective data that can be used as data for securing the validity of the science-related training projects that the Army is continuing to promote in the future and for public relations.
Taxifolin Glycoside Blocks Human ether-a-go-go Related Gene $K^+$ Channels

Taxifolin glycoside is a new drug candidate for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD). Many drugs cause side effects such as long QT syndrome by blocking the human ether-a-go-go related gene (hERG) $K^+$ channels. To determine whether taxifolin glycoside would block hERG $K^+$ channels, we recorded hERG $K^+$ currents using a whole-cell patch clamp technique. We found that taxifolin glycoside directly blocked hERG $K^+$ current in a concentration-dependent manner ($EC_{50}=9.6{\pm}0.7{\mu}M$). The activation curve of hERG $K^+$ channels was negatively shifted by taxifolin glycoside. In addition, taxifolin glycoside accelerated the activation time constant and reduced the onset of the inactivation time constant. These results suggest that taxifolin glycoside blocks hERG $K^+$ channels that function by facilitating activation and inactivation process.
Assessment Using the ICF-core set for Children and Youth with Cerebral Palsy: A Single Case Study

Purpose: This study evaluated the usefulness of International Classification of Functioning, disability and health core set for children and youths with cerebral palsy (ICF-core set for CP) by comparing the Gross Motor Function Measure-88 (GMFM-88), which is the most widely used outcome measure in children with cerebral palsy (ICF-core set for CP). Method: One subject (Female, 14) was evaluated by GMFM-88 and ICF-core set for CP. In addition, the concept of GMFM-88 was compared with the concept of the ICF-core set for CP in compliance with ICF linking rules. The numerical values both of the GMFM-88 categories and the ICF-core set for CP's items were compared. Results: The ICF b760 was linked to the GMFM-88 59~61. d415 was linked to 57~58 of GMFM-88. d450 was linked to GMFM-88's 65~72. d455 was linked to GMFM-88 at 77and 80~83. Conclusion: The association of the ICF-core set for CP and GMFM-88 was confirmed. In addition, the number of categories of ICF-core set for CP was smaller than the number of items of GMFM-88. In conclusion, the ICF-core set for CP is an evaluation tool that can identify the various features of children. In addition, GMFM-88 was linked to the ICF core set for CP according to the ICF linking rules.

In this study, an algorithm that detects a spoofing signal for a GPS L1 signal was proposed, and the performance was verified through RF spoofing signal simulation. The proposed algorithm determines the reception of a spoofing signal by detecting a correlation distortion of GPS L1 C/A code caused by the spoofing signal. To detect the correlation distortion, a detection criterion of a spoofing signal was derived from the relationship among the Early, Prompt, and Late tap correlation values of a receiver correlator; and a detection threshold was calculated from the false alarm probability of spoofing signal detection. In this study, an RF spoofing environment was built using the GSS 8000 simulator (Spirent). For the RF spoofing signal generated from the simulator, the RF spoofing environment was verified using the commercial receiver DL-V3 (Novatel Inc.). To verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, the RF signal was stored as IF band data using a USRP signal collector (NI) so that the data could be processed by a CNU software receiver (software defined radio). For the performance of the proposed algorithm, results were obtained using the correlation value of the software receiver, and the performance was verified through the detection of a spoofing signal and the detection time of a spoofing signal.
Evaluation of genotoxicity of SUNACTIVE Zn-P240 in vitro and in vivo

We evaluated the potential genotoxic effects of the nutrient supplement SUNACTIVE Zn-P240 in vitro and in vivo. Genotoxicity tests were performed at the Korea Testing and Research Institute, a GLP certification institution. A bacterial reverse mutation test was performed using the pre-incubation method, while the in vitro chromosome aberration test was performed using a cultured Chinese hamster lung cell line in the presence or absence of metabolic activation. The in vivo micronucleus test was performed using ICR mice. The bacterial reverse mutation test revealed that SUNACTIVE Zn-P240 did not induce genetic mutations at the tested doses in Salmonella typhimurium (TA98, TA100, TA1535, and TA1537) and Escherichia coli (WP2uvrA) tester strains. Meanwhile, the results of the in vitro chromosomal aberration and in vivo micronucleus tests revealed that SUNACTIVE Zn-P240 did not induce chromosomal aberrations. These results suggest that SUNACTIVE Zn-P240 did not exhibit mutagenic or clastogenic properties in vitro and in vivo.
Amorphous germanium oxide nanobubbles for lithium-ion battery anode

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Germanium (Ge) is a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to its large theoretical specific capacity (1600 mA h g<SUP>−1</SUP>), high Li diffusivity and large intrinsic electrical conductivity. Despite these merits, its large volumetric change during lithiation/delithiation process and relatively high production cost make it difficult to use in commercial batteries. In this paper, we report a facile, easy to scale up, and environmentally friendly method to prepare an amorphous phase GeO<SUB>x</SUB> (x < 1) hollow composite at a hydrothermal condition using an aqueous precursor solution containing GeO<SUB>2</SUB> particles, and citric acid. The citric acid induces gas bubble templates and frameworks to improve the structural strain for Li<SUP>+</SUP> ion conduction during cycling. The resulting GeO<SUB>x</SUB>-C hallow composite anode shows enhanced cyclability with a reversible capacity of 930 mA h g<SUP>−1</SUP> after 100 cycles at a current density of 0.3 C.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> One-pot hydrothermal synthesis of the 3D bubble amorphous GeO<SUB>x</SUB> hollow composite. </LI> <LI> Control of the hollow shell thickness for optimized electrode performance. </LI> <LI> Bubble-templated nanoscale pores for effective accommodation of volume change during cycling process. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
