        Regional TMPRSS2 V197M Allele Frequencies Are Correlated with COVID-19 Case Fatality Rates

        Coronavirus disease, COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019), caused by SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2), has a higher case fatality rate in European countries than in others, especially East Asian ones. One potential explanation for this regional difference is the diversity of the viral infection efficiency. Here, we analyzed the allele frequencies of a nonsynonymous variant rs12329760 (V197M) in the TMPRSS2 gene, a key enzyme essential for viral infection and found a significant association between the COVID-19 case fatality rate and the V197M allele frequencies, using over 200,000 present-day and ancient genomic samples. East Asian countries have higher V197M allele frequencies than other regions, including European countries which correlates to their lower case fatality rates. Structural and energy calculation analysis of the V197M amino acid change showed that it destabilizes the TMPRSS2 protein, possibly negatively affecting its ACE2 and viral spike protein processing.

        The purpose of this study was to complement the findings of existing studies that focus on setting the energy efficient path in the sensor network. It focues on the transmission of inquiry by the sink node through the flooding and the receipt of reply in the form of improved routing, which is related ot the setting of path that has been dealt with in existing studies. The transmission of inquiry through the flooding needs to improve prior to trying to slect the souce node that responds to the inquiry and enhancing the efficiency of path use. Therefore, specific sensor pattern is sent to the sensor node, instead of transmitting the initial inquiry, which is reacted as the inquiry. That is to transmit the inquiry through the sensor of source node in the relationship between the source sensor node and mobility sink node

        Pollution from discarded plastic has become a serious environmental problem. The Great Pacific garbage patch consisting of abandoned plastics is killing marine life. In addition, micro-plastics decomposed by solar UV radiation and waves can accumulate in the human body. Recycling plastic is accordingly a critical element of waste management. As part of the solution to this problem, factory automation in recycling plants to handle more waste faster is essential. The amount of reproduced raw plastics is proportional to the inlet speed of the plastics waste stream into a recycling process line. Furthermore, the quality of recycled products with reproduced raw plastics depends on the sorting purity through the line. Thus, an automated system should be capable of real-time classification of the plastics category and rapid manipulation for removing selected plastics. We propose a real-time sorting system for mixed color plastics by applying a machine learning algorithm and a parallel manipulator with a vacuum suction pad. The learning data and picking test samples were collected from a municipal waste disposal site at RM corporation factory. This work shows the feasibility of real-time plastics recycling automation and a future development direction.

        ISO 15926 기반 플랜트 3D 설계 데이터 가시화를 위한 시스템 개발

        ISO 15926 is an international standard for the sharing and integration of plant lifecycle information. Plant design data consist of logical configuration, equipment specifications, 2D piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs), and 3D plant models (shape data). Although 3D computer-aided design (CAD) data is very important data across the plant lifecycle, few studies on the exchange of 3D CAD data using ISO 15926 have been conducted so far. For this, we analyze information requirements regarding plant 3D design in the process industry. Based on the analysis, ISO 15926 templates are defined for the representation of constructive solid geometry (CSG) ? based 3D design data. Since system environments for 3D CAD modeling and Semantic Web technologies are different from each other, we present system architecture for processing and visualizing plant 3D design data in the Web Ontology Language (OWL) format. Through the visualization test of ISO 15926-based 3D design data for equipment with a prototype system, feasibility of the proposed method is verified.

        iRINGTools을 활용한 ISO 15926 기반 플랜트 P&ID 데이터의 교환

        It has become important to manage plant data effectively and to share these data among different organizations that are located in different places and participate in a variety of lifecycle phases. ISO 15926 is an international standard for integration of lifecycle data for process plants including oil and gas facilities. This standard consists of several parts providing a generic data model, reference data, and implementation methods. iRINGTools is a tool developed for the exchange of plant design data. This tool supports the implementation methods specified in ISO 15926. In this paper, the exchange of plant design data using iRINGTools is investigated. For this, sample P&ID data was modeled and data exchange experiment was performed. From the experiment, a data exchange procedure based on ISO 15926 is established and design data types that can be practically exchanged using ISO 15926 were identified.

        HR부서역량이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 : 직무만족의 매개효과 및 조직커뮤니케이션의 조절된 매개효과 분석

        지식기반사회에서 조직이 경쟁적 우위를 점하기 위해서는 정적인 유형의 형태인 자원보다는 대체하기가 쉽지 않으며 모방이 어려운 차별화된 무형자원(인적자원)을 확보하고 유지하는 것이 중요하다. 이에 조직은 구성원들이 조직에서 갖는 직무만족과 조직몰입의 향상을 위해 채용・승진・개발・교육・훈련 등의 인적자원관리 관련 제도를 도입・개선하고 있으며, 축적된 선행연구들은 인적자원관리가 조직유효성에 미치는 인과관계를 규명하였다. 인적자원관리를 담당하는 각 조직의 HR부서가 가진 역량은 다양한 맥락에서 검증되어 왔지만, HR부서의 역량과 조직몰입, 직무만족, 조직 커뮤니케이션 간의 관계를 고찰한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 못했다. 본 연구는 조직구성원들의 잠재력을 개발하고 동기를 부여하는 등 통합적인 인적자원관리를 담당하는 HR부서의 역량이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향과 함께 이러한 영향에 있어서 직무만족의 매개효과와 조직 커뮤니케이션의 조절된 매개효과를 검증한다. 분석 결과, HR부서의 역량은 직무만족과 조직몰입에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며 직무만족 역시 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 조직 커뮤니케이션은 직무만족에 대한 조절된 매개효과에 있어 조직구성원이 종사하고 있는 산업형태에 따라 유의미하거나 유의미하지 않은 영향관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 HR부서는 좀 더 나은 조직몰입 향상을 위해 조직구성원이 종사하는 조직유형의 형태와 직무의 특성에 맞는 커뮤니케이션 제도의 개선과 관심이 필요하다는 점을 시사하고 있다. Research on the relationship of human resource management system to organizational effectiveness has been verified in various contexts. However, not many studies have been conducted to examine the relationship between the capabilities of HR departments and organizational effectiveness, not the system. This study verifies the influence of the HR department s capacity in charge of human resource management on organizational commitment, the mediation effect of job satisfaction and the moderated mediation effect of organizational communication. According to the analysis, the HR department s Capability had a significant impact on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and job satisfaction also showed a mediation effect. Organizational communication has been shown to have different influences depending on the industrial form in the moderated mediation effect on job satisfaction. These results suggest that HR departments need to improve communication systems and pay attention to the type of organization in which members of the organization are engaged and the nature of their duties in order to improve organizational commitment.

        ISO 15926 기반의 참조 데이터 라이브러리 편집기의 개발

        ISO 15926 is an international standard for integration of lifecycle data for process plants including oil and gas facilities. From the viewpoint of information modeling, ISO 15926 Parts 2 provides the general data model that is designed to be used in conjunction with reference data. Reference data are standard instances that represent classes, objects, properties, and templates common to a number of users, process plants, or both. ISO 15926 Parts 4 and 7 provide the initial set of classes, objects, properties and the initial set of templates, respectively. User-defined reference data specific to companies or organizations are defined by inheriting from the initial reference data and the initial set of templates. In order to support the extension of reference data and templates, an editor that provides creation, deletion and modification functions of userdefined reference data is needed. In this study, an editor for reference data based on ISO 15926 was developed. Sample reference data were encoded in OWL (web ontology language) according to the specification of ISO 15926 Part 8. iRINGTools and dot15926Editor were benchmarked for the design of GUI (graphical user interface). Reference data search, creation, modification, and deletion functions were implemented with XML (extensible markup language) DOM (document object model), and SPARQL (SPARQL protocol and RDF query language).

        협력적 노사관계가 기업성과에 미치는 영향 : 인적자원관리제도의 매개효과 분석 및 수도권 여부에 따른 비교연구

        4차 산업혁명이 시작되며 기업들은 조직의 생존과 유지를 위해 새로운 기술·서비스·제품개발을 통한 성과제고를 위해 노력하고 있으며 이에 핵심요인은 인적자원에 해당한다. 이에 따라 조직들은 다양한 인적자원관리 제도를 도입·개선 등을 통해 인적자원에 대한 투자를 늘려가는 추세이다. 그러나 제도의 도입·개선에 앞서 조직(사)과 구성원(노) 중 일방적 결정은 긍정적 효과보다는 역효과를 나타낼 가능성이 존재하기 때문에 협력적인 노사관계를 구축하는 것 또한 매우 중요한 요소에 해당한다(채주석, 2019). 이를 고려하여 본 연구는 협력적 노사관계가 인적자원관리제도의 도입과 기업의 전반적인 성과에 미치는 영향의 파악과 인적자원관리제도의 매개 효과를 검증했으며, 기업의 지역적 위치(수도권 유무)를 구분하여 추가 분석하였다. 분석결과 주요변수 간 관계에 있어 기업의 지역적 위치는 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 함의를 제안하였다. Since the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, corporate have been making various efforts such as development of new technologies, services, and products for the maintenance and development of their organizations. Since the key factor in creating such corporate performance is human resources, companies are introducing and improving various human resource management-related systems for organizational members. However, in the implementation of the human resource management system, no matter how useful the system is, it may not be utilized or adversely affected due to different intentions between companies and employees. Therefore, it is important to establish a cooperative relationship rather than a one-sided relationship. Considering this situation, this study aims to understand the effect of cooperative labor-management relations on the human resource management system and corporate performance. In addition, the mediating effect of the HRM system and corporate located in the capital area and non-capital areas were compared. As a result of the analysis, companies in the metropolitan area were significant in terms of cooperative labor-management relations and the impact of the overall performance of companies, but non-metropolitan areas were not. The human resource management system was found to have an indirect effect regardless of whether it was in the metropolitan area or the non-metropolitan area.
