      • 日本經濟의 發展要因에 관한 一硏究

        Japan makes the biggest trade surplus in the balance of payments and exercises the strong economic power next to the U.S. in the western world. Many existing studies have examined statistical data and national policies to analyze the Japanese economy. However, one hardly understands fully the economic development of a country without understanding historical and cultural backgrounds and inheritances. Thus this study has two purposes: investigating major historical and cultural factors affecting the Japanese economic development, and providing implications to apply these factor to the Korean economic development. This study has identified the following factors contributing to the Japanese economic development: (1) the Japanese Confucian culture that emphasizes diligence and consciousness of the rank system, (2) the early adoption of a compulsory education system promoting the high level of mass education, (3) the seniority-rank and the lifetime employment system based on the characteristics of vocational ethics. (4) the healthy relations between parent and subcontracted companies derived from the Japanese SAMURAI spirits, (5) the eminent improvement engineering technique through excellent imitations, and (6) the cooperations between the government and private enterprises. These factors are typical features of the Japanese economic development and have played a key role in developing Japanese economy. The results of this study may offer lots of implications for applying to the korean economic development.

      • 증폭원리를 이용한 초정밀 나노스테이지 개발

        The laser-interferometer and capacitive displacement sensors were used to increase the resolution of the feedback system for stage used for measuring and processing the system. However, it was difficult to obtain high-resolution measurements, considering the measuring method and structural characteristics. This study developed a inverse magnification type stage to evaluate characteristics. Therefore, we introduced a nano-stage with a magnification mechanism for the position feedback system.

      • Gamma선 조사에 의한 식품미생물의 살균효과

        한국산 건강식품 가공원료인 알로에, 화분, 효모, 효소 가공분말의 초기 미생물오염도는 각각 8.2× 10²cell/g, 8.7 ×??cell/g, 8.8 ×10⁴cell/g, 6.9× 10⁴cell/g으로 측정되었다. 각 시료군별 감마선 조사를 1∼9kGy로 적용한 결과 초기 미생물의 오염도가 가장 낮은 알로에 분말의 경우 3.5kGy에서 완전 살균이 나타났으며 초기 오염도가 가장 높은 화분 가공분말은 7.2kGy정도에서 완전 살균이 가능하였다. 알로에, 화분, 효모 및 효소 가공분말의 선량 적용에 따른 미생물 생존 곡선에서 ??값은 각각 1.30, 1.20,1.27, 1.20으로 산출되었으며 불활성계수(n)가 6일때 7∼8kGy의 치사선량(??)값을 얻었다. The sample used in this experiment was worked material of health foods manufactured in Korea such as aloe, pollens, yeast prepns. and enzyme prepns. The initial microbial population of above food was 8.2 ×10²cell/g-aloe powder, 8.7 ×??cell/g -pollen, 8.8× 10⁴cell/g-yeast prepns, 6.9 ×10⁴cell/g-enzyme prepns. When samples were irradiated as a serial dose from 1kGy to 9kGy using gamma ray-??, aloe powder showed complete sterilization under 3.5kGy dose. In contrast, complete radio-sterilization in pollens is possible around te 7.2kGy dose of ??-gamma irradiation. ?? value(the dose required to eradicate 90% of the population)presented in microbial suvival curve according to serial irradiation dose was calculated 1.30(aloe), 1.20(pollens), 1.27(yeasts prepns.) and 1.20 (Enzymes prepns), respectively. As a inactivation factor(n) was 6, Lethal Dose(??)is 7∼8kGy dose of gamma irradiation.

        흰쥐 삼차신경 척수감각핵의 미측소핵 세포의 전압의존성 소디움통로와 포타슘통로에 대한 전기생리학적 연구

        The caudal subnucleus of the spinal trigeminal nucleus (medullary dorsal horn ; MDH) receives direct inputs from unmyelinated and thinly myelinated, small diameter primary afferent fibers. Thus, the MDH is implicated in the processing of nociceptive information in the orofacial region. In this study, the types and characteristics of voltage-dependent ion currents were investigated in acutely isolated MDH neurons of postnatal rats by means of the whole cell patch clamp techniques. Coronal slice (400㎛) of the trigeminal caudal subnucleus region was sequentially treated with pronase 0.2㎎/㎖. then single neurons were mechanically dissociated. Voltage-dependent sodium currents showed that the half-maximum activation potential was -41.8±1.8mV and half-maximum inactivation potential was -62.4±3.0mV. And the currents were blocked totally by application of 100nM tetrodotoxin. In a Ca^2+ free solution, low-threshold transient (I_A) and high-threshold sustained (I_K) currents were recorded. The half-maximum activation and inactivation potential of I_K were 2.5±1.9mV and -37.1±2.3mV, respectively. I_A was activated and inactivated more rapidly than I_K. The half-maximum activation and inactivation potential were -21.6±6.3mV and -84.5±5.0mV, respectively. When a 4-aminopyridine of 5mM was applied, I_A was almost totally blocked. These results reveal that MDH neurons express a variety of voltage-dependent ionic currents with distinct physiological and pharmacological properties, and they play an essential role in the transmission and modulation of sensation, especially pain, from trigeminal region.

        공 컨테이너를 고려한 컨테이너 내륙수송에서의 차량배치문제

        In the container transportation of inland depots the empty container is an important issue. The truck dispatching problem in this paper is considered under restriction about empty containers. When a full container arrives in a depot by truck, after unloading operation the full container is changed to an empty container. After loading operation an empty container is changed to a full container. We suggest an integrated approach to the problem of simultaneously managing empty truck and container movements. We would like to find the truck dispatching method minimizing empty truck movements and empty container movements. In this paper, a mixed integer programming model is developed to obtain the optimal truck dispatching in container transportation and heuristic is developed to give a good solution in much shorter time. The numerical examples are studied and the proposed heuristic is also compared with the result of numerical examples.

        Many studies revealed the neuroprotective, cardioprotective, and chemopreventive actions of dietary flavonoids. The plausible mechanistic interpretation of the various effects of flavonoids was concentrated on the anti-oxidant or free radical-scavenging properties of these phytochernicals, both in model systems and under in vivo conditions. While there has been a major focus on the anti-oxidant properties. there is an emerging view that flavonoids and their in vivo metabolites. do not act as conventional hydrogen-donating anti-oxidants. but they may exert regulatory functions in cells through actions at protein kinase or lipid kinase signaling pathways. Flavonoids and more recently their metabolites. have been reported to act at phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI 3-kinase). Akt/protein kinase B(Akt/PKB), protein kinase C (PKC), mitogen activated protein kinase(MAP kinase), and various tyrosine kinases signaling cascades. Inhibitory or stimulatory actions at these pathways are likely to affect cellular function profoundly by altering the phosphorylation state of target molecules and by modulating gene expression. A clear understanding of the mechanisms of action of flavonoids, either as anti-oxidants or modulators of cellular signaling pathways, and the influence of their metabolism on these properties are key to the evaluation of these potent biomolecules as anti-cancer agents, cardio-protectants, and inhibitors of neurodegeneration.

        Most of pile foundations are a condition of fixed head on pile, but lateral loading test of pile have performed to free head on generally This study performed field lateral loading test accompanying lateral displacement by depth of pile for two cases(fixed head and free head) and analyzed lateral behavior of large drilled shaft. Further more compared theoretical equation with result of lateral loading test.

        전기침이 구강동통에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The effects of electro-acupuncture on the pain threshold and the amplitude of dEMG(digastric EMG) evoked by the noxious electric stimulation on teeth and gingiva in dogs were studied. Experiments were carried out with 10 dogs weighing 5-8kg. Each animal was anestheticed with Entobar given intraperitoneally in an initial dose of 30㎎/㎏. Maintenance dose of 5㎎/㎏/hr was given through a cannula, in the femoral vein, as required to keep up light anesthesia. Bipolar stimulating wire electrodes, 0.1mm in diameter, insulated except for tips, were inserted into the upper canine and palatal gingiva. Rectangular aluminium plate electrodes (15×5mm) were placed on acupuncture points, called Yin-Hsiang, located at both sides of the upper jaw. Rectangular biphasic current pulses of 2Hz, with a 250μsec duration,were delivered for 15 minutes. The dEMG activities were recorded from the anterior belly of the digastric muscle(one of the jaw opening muscles) using bipolar wire electrodes. The magnitude of the jaw opening reflex at different intensties of electro-acupuncture(1volt 4volt and 10volt) was estimated by averaging the 30 superimposed dEMGs recorded on an oscilloscope and audiomonitor. Data were analysed statistically with ANOVA and paired t-test. The obtained results were as follows : 1. Pain thresholds were increased 7.7%, 15.4%, 17.3% in the teeth and 11.1%, 19.0%, 25.4% in the gingiva as the intensities of electro-acupuncture increased incrementally. 2. Amplitudes of dEMG were decreaed 8.3%, 22.4%, 27.4% in the teeth and 9.8%, 36.5%, 42.2% in the gingiva as the intensities of electro-acupuncture increased incrementally. 3. Inhibition of pain responses by the electroacupuncture was more effective in the gingiva than in the teeth.
