        진행성 치매와 반복되는 뇌졸중을 보인 뇌 아밀로이드 혈관병증 1예

        Cerebral amyloid angiopathy can cause intracerebral hemorrhage, progressive dementia, seizure and transient ischemic attacks. Dementia is a relatively common manifestation and associated with the presence of recurrent strokes and leukoencephalopathy. A 66-year-old right-handed man with hypertension and recurrent strokes presented with rapidly progressive dementia and sudden onset of dysarthria and dizziness. He showed memory impairment, personality and behavioral changes, and executive dysfunction for one and an half years. These symptoms developed insidiously and quite rapidly without fluctuation. Brain CT showed a small hemorrhage in the right cerebellum. Brain MRI, especially gradient-echo images revealed multiple cortical and cortico-subcortical microbleeds. Four weeks later, right hemiparesis suddenly developed and a repeated MRI showed a new left corona radiata infarction. We learn from this case that gradient-echo MR images should be performed in patients with rapidly progressive dementia and recurrent strokes.

        중학교 가정과 '인간발달과 가족관계' 영역의 교육자료 (CD-Rom) 개발 및 현장 적용 연구 : 실천적 추론 수업을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to develop lesson plans. teaching guide, and teaching materials applying practical reasoning teaching model in the area of 'human development and family relationship' in middle school home economics. The practical reasoning teaching model consists of five factors: Desired results, Awareness of context. Alternative approaches, Consequences of action, and Action. This study based on practical reasoning has following process: Curriculum development, Developing lesson plan. teaching material, and teaching guide. Experimental teaching and evaluation, Feedback, Production of CD-Rom. Teaching guide includes lesson Plan. workbook, multimedia materials and teaching resources, Especially teaching guide in CD-Rom can be used effectively in the actual teaching. In the classroom, this teaching model accomplished active and interesting Participation of teachers and students. It is proposed that practical reasoning teaching model should be applied to other areas of home economics. In addition, various teaching materials based on Practical reasoning need to be developed.

      • 싸주아리쑥(Artemisia herba)으로부터 phytol의 분리

        싸주아리쑥 지상부의 80% MeOH 추출물로부터 얻어진 EtOAc 분획물에 대하여 silica gel 및 ODS column chromatography를 반복하여 diterpene을 분리하였다. 화합물의 화학구조는, NMR, MS 및 IR 등의 스펙트럼을 해석하여 phytol로 동정하였다. The aerial part of Artemisia herba was extracted with 80% aqueous MeOH and the concentrated extract was partitioned with EtOAc, n-BuOH and H_(2)O, successively. From the EtOAc fraction, a terpenoid was isolated through the repeated silica gel and ODS column chromatographies. From the result of physico-chemical data including NMR, MS and IR, the chemical structure of the compound was determined as phytol.

      • Papaverine이 단일 심근세포의 막전류에 미치는 영향

        Ventricular myocytes of guinea-pig were isolated by means of collagenase digestion in order to investigate the effects of papaverine on the membrane currents in them. After formation of a gigaseal with patch microelectrodes, membrane currents were recorded from single ventricular myocytes in a whole cell mode of patch-clamp technique. For membrane currents recording, electrodes were filled with Cs-solution. Results were as follows: 1. Slow inward calcium was reduced by papaverine dose-dependently. 2. No significant changes were observed in the steady-state inactivation. 3. Recovery time of the calcium currents prolonged in high concencial papaverine. 4. Fast inward sodium currents showed no noticeable changes with papaverine treatment. From these results, it is strongly suggested that the effects of papaverine on the membrane currents in the single ventricular myocytes may be attributable to its antagonistic action on the calcium channel rather than its inhibitory effect on the phosphodiesterase activity.

      • 강화 특화작목 지표물질의 함량 분석

        강화 특화작목의 건강기능성 식품 제품화의 가능성을 타진하고 재배작물의 표준화 연구를 위해 사자발쑥, 싸주아리쑥 그리고 순무에 대해 총 폴리페놀과 총 플라보노이드 함량을 측정하였다. 총 폴리페놀 함량은 사자발쑥이 9.5mg/g, 싸주아리쑥이 7.4mg/g, 순무가 1.8mg/g으로 총 플라보노이드 함량은 사자발쑥이 4.3mg/g, 싸주아리쑥이 3.6mg/g, 순무가 0.4mg/g으로 확인 되었다. 또한 강화 약쑥의 유효지표성분인 eupatilin과 jaceosidin이 사자발쑥에는 각각 208mg/100g, 118mg/100g, 싸주아리쑥에는 199mg/100g, 111mg/100g 함유된 것을 HPLC를 통해 확인하였다. This study was conducted to investigate the contents of total polyphenol and total flavonoid of three Ganghwa indigenous crops, two varieties of Artemisia princeps Pampanini (Sajabalssuk, Sajuarissuk) and Brassica campestris ssp rapa. Total polyphenol and total flavonoid contents of Sajabalssuk were 9.5 and 4.3 mg/g, those of Sajuarissuk were 7.4 and 3.6 mg/g, those of B. campestris ssp rapa were 1.8 and 0.4 mg/g, respectively. The contents of eupatilin and jaceosidin in A. princeps Pampanini which were calculated by HPLC, were determined 208 mg/100g, 118 mg/100g in Sajabalssuk and 199 mg/100g, 111 mg/100g in Sajuarissuk, respectively.

      • 모래의 입도분포가 모르터의 물성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Fineness Modulus is a term used as an index to the fineness of sand. It is well - known that the modulus distribution of sand plays an important role in achieving the desired properties of mortar. The maximum size of sand is also important parameter in mortar. These parameters affect workability, strength and unitweight of mortar. In tills study, different sand gradings were used to investigate effects of fineness moduli of sand for examination about the workability, strength and unit weight characteristics of cement mortar. Two kinds of sands with various size distribution and three kinds of fine aggregates with the similar particle size distribution (Sieve No.16~30, No.30~50, No.50~100) were used. Water-cement ratio (W/C) of mortar mix was kept constant for all the trial mixes with sand of different fineness modulus. Major findings of tills study are: (a) Fine sand with the similar size distribution reduces the workability and unit weight of cement mortar. (b) The compressive strength of mortar is not sensitive to sand grading variations. (c) The compressive strengths at the age of 28 days range from 32.1 to 54.1 MPa. (d) The sand with standard modulus distribution has better positive effects on the properties of the mortar.

        THE INFLUENCE OF OBTURATION TIMING AND THICKNESS OF MINERAL TRIOXIDE AGGREAGATE ON SEALING ABILITY OF CANAL WITH OPEN APEX

        임상에서 점차 Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) 에 대한 우수성이 소개되면서, apical matrix로의 사용은 주목할 만하다 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 개방형근관에서 MTA가 apical matrix로 사용될 때의 치근단 밀폐효과를 알아보고, 근관충전의 시기와 matrix의 두께가 치근단 밀폐에 미치는 영향을 치근단 미세누출의 측면과 matrix탈락빈도의 측면에서 관찰하고자 하는 것이다. 개방형 근관을 재현하고자 45개의 발거된 단근치에 #90크기로 근단공을 형성하였고, 투명레진등을 이용하여 치근단병소를 갖는 치조골을 재현한 후, 4개의 실험 군과 1개의 대조 군으로 분류하였다. A군: 2mm두께의 MTA matrix 형성후, 열연화된 Gutta-percha와AH26 sealer를 이용하여 즉시 근관충전. B군: 2mm두께의 MTA matrix 형성후, A군과 같은 방법으로 24시간 후 근관충전. C군: 4mm 두께의 MTA matrix 형성후, A군과 같은 방법으로 즉시 근관충전. D군: 4mm두께의 MTA matrix 형성후, A군과 같은 방법으로 24시간 후 근관충전. 대조군: matrix를 사용하지 않고 열연화된 Gutta-percha와 AH26 sealer를 이용하여 근관충전하였다. Matrix의 탈락이 있는 경우 기록하고 완전수세 후 다시 시행하였다. 색소침투정도의 평가를 위해 methylene blue 에 치아를 48시간 침수시킨 후 협설로 양분하였다. 각 시편들을 고배율 현미경 관찰 후 비디오촬영 하였고, digitalized image analysing program 을 이용하여 두명의 관찰자가 누출의 정도를 평가한 후, One-way ANOVA로 통계적 유의성을 검증하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Matrix를 사용한 실험 군이 matrix를 사용하지 않은 대조 군에 비해 유의성 있게 낮은 누출을 보였다(p<0.05) . 그러나 근관충전시기와 matrix의 두께를 달리한 실험군 내에서는 누출에 유의성 있는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 2 모든 실험군에서 gutta-percha를 이용한 근관충전의 시기에 matrix탈락 및 gutta-percha 의 압출은 발생하지 않았다.

        측두하악관절의 초음파영상과 자기공명영상에서 하악과두 외측면과 관절낭간 거리 측정치 비교

        Purpose : To evaluate the reliability and clinical usefulness of ultrasonography in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Materials and Methods : Parasagittal and paracoronal 1.5 T MR images and 7.5MHz ultrasonographs of 40 TMJs in 20 asymptomatic volunteers were obtained. Disc position using MR imaging was evaluated and the distance between the lateral surface of mandibular condyle and the articular capsule using MR image and ultrasonograph of 27 TMJs with normal disc position was measured and compared. Intraobserver and interobserver measurements reliability was evaluated by using interclass correlation coefficients(ICC) and measurement error. Also, the distance measured on ultrasonographs was compared, according to mouth position and disc postion. Results : The normal disc position was found in 27 of 40 asymptomatic joints. At the intraobserver reliability of measurement, ICC at the closed and open mouth position were 0.89 and 0.91. The measurement error was 0.4% and 0.5%. At the interobserver reliability, ICC at the closed and open mouth position were 0.92 and 0.81. The measurement error was 0.4% and 0.7%. At the TMJ with normal disc position, the distances between the lateral surface of mandibular condyle and the articular capsule measured on MR images and ultrasonographs were 2.0±0.7 mm, 1.8±0.5 mm, respectively(p<0.05). On the ultrasonographs, the distances at open mouth position were 1.2±0.5 mm (p<0.05). At the TMJ with medially displaced disc, the distances at the closed and open mouth position were 1.3±0.3 mm and 0.9±0.2 mm (p<0.05). Conclusion: The results suggest ultrasonography of TMJ is a reliable imaging technique for assessment of normal disc position. (Korean J Oral Maxillofac Radiol 2006; 36 : 41-8)

        대구치 직립 스프링 적용시 반작용에 관한 삼차원 유한요소법적 연구

        하악 제1대구치가 상실되고 하악 2대구치가 근심으로 경사된 겨우 이를 직립시키기 위하여 직립 스프링을 사용하였을때 초기에 나타나는 응력 분포와 치아의 변위 양상을 살펴보고 여러 조건하에서의 변화를 비교, 분석하여 바람직하지 못한 치아 이동을 감소시키기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 3차원 유한요소법을 이용하여 하악치아, 치근막과 치조골의 형태와 물리적 특성을 컴퓨터로 재현시키고 브라켓을 모형화하여 치아에 부작한 후 helical spring, root spring, T-loop, box loop등 5가지 형태의 스프링을 beam요소로 모형화하여 적용시켜 유한요소 모델을 제작하였다. 스프링의 형태, cinch-back여부, activation 양, tip-back bend의 크기에 따른 차이를 보기 위하여 여러 조건하에서 탄선 적용시 나타나는 힘과 모멘트, 치아이동 변위를 개개치아의 FA point에서 계측하여 비교, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. Helical spring과 root spring적용시 하악 견치와 제1소구치의 압하가 일어났고, 하악 제2대구치의 원심이동과 정출, 원심회전이 일어났다. 2. T-loop, modified T-loop, box loop 적용시 하악 제2소구치의 압하와 원심이동이 일어났고, 하악 제2대구치의 직립에 필요한 원심이동과 원심회전은 T-loop에서 가장 크게 나타나고, box loop에서 가장 작게 나타났다. 3. T-loop에서 cinch-back을 한 경우 하악 제2대구치 치관의 원심이동과 원심회전은 약간 감소하였으나, 치아의 정출도 동시에 감소하였다. 4. T-loop에서 activation양을 증가시킴에 따라 하악 제2대소구치의 근심이동이 점차 증가하여 공간폐쇄 경향을 보였고, 치관의 원심회전 역시 점차 증가하였으나, 하악 제2소구치의 원심 이동도 약간 증가하였다. 5. T-loop에서 tip-back bend의 양을 증가시킴에 따라 하악 제2대구치의 직립에 필요한 원심이동과 원심회전이 점차 증가하였으나, 치아의 정출은 더욱 급격히 증가하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the stress distribution and tooth displacement at the initial phase produced by 5 type of molar uprighting springs using finite element method. The three dimensional finite element model of lower dentition, bone and springs was composed of 5803 elements and 2071 nodes. The results were as follows: 1. In case of helical spring and root spring, intrusion of lower canine and first premolar were observed and distal tipping, translation and extrusion of lower second molar were observed. 2. In case of T-loop, modified T-loop and box loop, intrusion and distal translation of lower second premolar were observed, and the largest crown distal tipping and translation of lower second molar were observed in T-loop and the smallest were observed in box loop. 3. In case of T-loop with cinch-back, crown distal tipping and translation of lower second molar were decreased, but extrusion was also decreased. 4. With increase of activation in T-loop, mesial translation and crown distal tipping of lower second molar were increased and edentulous space was closing, but distal translation of second premolar was also increased. 5. With increase of tip-back bend in T-loop, distal tipping and translation of lower second molar were increased, but extrusion was also increased more largely.

        부직포활성슬러지법에 의한 하수와 침출수처리에 관한 기초연구

        In this study, it was performed using submerged nonwoven bioreactor(SNBR) for removal of organic matter, nitrogen and phosphate under different aeration intervals(intermittent aeration). We applied the SNBR at the cheap nonwoven fiber module instead of the expensive membrane. The SNBR was mainly made up of an activated sludge reactor and a transverse flow nonwoven module. with an innovative configuration being in application between them. In case of sewage, the aeration conditions experimented consist of continuous aeration and 60min/60min, 120min/60min, 120min/120min of aeration/nonaeration time intervals, respectively. In case of landfill leachate, the intermittent aeration condition was 120min/120min at aeration/nonaeration. Consequently. a high COD removal rate (about 94%) was achieved in sewage and leachate. Although nutrient removal rate was relatively high without any additional chemicals.
