Sodium bicarbonate와 Sodium cirate투여가 산 - 염기 평형과 무산소성 지구력에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate loading on acid-base balance and anaerobic endurance. The subjects of this study were 6 healthy male university students. Six subjects (VO₂?: 63±10.3ml/㎏/min) were studied on five conditions following ingestion of 300ml solution containing a current sports-beverage (P: placebo) or sodium bicarbonate (B₁:240㎎/㎏ body weight, B₂: 300㎎/㎏ body weight), or sodium citrate (C₁: 240㎎/㎏ body weight, C₂: 300㎎/㎏ body weight). Arterialized-venous blood samples were drawn at specific time (pre-treatment=90 minute before treadmill running test, pre-exercise, recovery 3min, recovery 15min) and analyzed for blood pH, blood lactate concentration and blood HCO₃concentration. Also, urine samples were taken three times (pre-treatment, pre-exercise, recovery 15min) for urine pH. Anaerobic endurance was determined by measuring exercise time to exhaustion at 95% VO₂? The results were as followings; 1. Urine pH at pre-treatment showed insignificant difference among five conditions. Urine pH at pre-exercise was highest in B₁and lowest in p(B₁>C₂>B₂>C₁>p; p<.001). At recovery 15min, urine oH showed significant difference among five conditions (B₁>B₂>C₂>C₁>p; p<.001). 2. Blood pH at pre-treatment showed insignificant difference among five conditions. But pre-exercise blood pH increased significantly in four conditions except placebo condition. And blood pH was highest in B₂ and lowest in p (B₂>B₁>C₂>C₁<p; p<.01). After 95% VO₂?exercise, blood pH decreased significantly in all conditions. And blood pH at recovery 3min was highest in B₁and lowest in P (B₁>B₂>C₂>C₁>p; p<.05). Blood pH at recovery 15min was higher than that at recovery 3min and didn’t show significant difference among five conditions. Rate of recovery at 15min after exercise was trended to be higher in C₁and C₂. 3. Blood HCO₃concentration at pre-treatment didn’t show significant difference among five conditions pre-exercise blood HCO₃concentration increased significantly in four conditions except placebo condition. And blood HCO₃concentration was highest in B₁and lowest in P(B₁>B₂>C₂>C₁>p; p<.05). After exercise, blood HCO₃concentration decreased significantly in all conditions but didn’t show significant difference among five conditions. Blood HCO₃concentration at recovery 3min was highest in B₁and lowest in P (B₁<C₂>C₁>P). Blood HCO₃concentration at recovery 15min was higjest in B₁and lowest in P (B₁<C₂>B₂>C₁>P). Blood HCO₃concentration at recovery 15min was higher than that at recovery 3min but didn’t show significant difference among five conditions. Rate of recovery at 15min after exercise was highest in c₁and lowest in B₂(C₁>C₂>P>B₁>B₂). 4. Blood HLa concentration didn’t show significant difference among five conditions at pre-treatment, pre-exercise, recovery 3min and recovery 15min. Accumulation of blood HLa at recovery 3min was highest in B₂and lowest in P (B₂>B₁>C₁=C₂>P). Rate of recovery at 15min after exercise was 45%, 30%, 43%, 46% and 46% in P₁, B₁,B₂, C₁ and C₂, respectively. And rate of recovery was highest in C₁and C₂, and lowest in B₁(C₁=C₂>P>B₂>B₁). 5. There was not significant difference among anaerobic endurances under the five conditions. However, the exercise time to exhaustion in B₁, B₂, C₂ improved 19.5s(4.9%), 53.8s(14.5%), 59.3s(14.8%) and 75.2s(18.7%) compared to P, respectively. From these results, we concluded that ingestion of sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrace prior to exercise induces alkalosis and may affects the improvement of anaerobic endurance, and sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate can be used as a effective ergogenic aid. And improvement of anaerobic performance induced alkalotic dosage expect to be higher in sodium citrate than in sodium bicarbonate and higher in 300mg sodium citrate/㎏ body weight than 240mg sodium citrate/㎏ body weight.

화학에너지를 전기에너지로 전환하는 친환경 에너지 자원으로 각광받는 연료전지에서 고분자 전해질 연료전지(proton exchange membrane fuel cell, PEMFC)의 비싼 백금촉매 사용, 고온가습조건에서의 전도도 감소 등의 문제로 음이온교환연료전지(anion exchange membrane fuel cell, AEMFC)가 주목을 받고 있다. 음이온교환연료전지는 비백금계 촉매를 사용하고 산소환원반응의 활성화 에너지가 낮아 효율이 더 우수한 장점이 있다. 하지만, 이산화탄소에 노출되어 전극 손상, 이온전도도 감소 등의 문제점을 포함하여 여러 가지 해결해야 할 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 본 미니총설은 음이온 교환연료전지의 다양한 문제점을 여러 연구논문을 통해서 해결방안을 제시하고자 한다. Fuel cells are seen as eco-friendly energy resources that convert chemical energy into electrical energy. However, proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) have problems such as the use of expensive platinum catalysts for the reduction of conductivity under high temperature humidification conditions. Thus, an anion exchange membrane fuel cell (AEMFC) is attracting a great attention. Anion exchange fuel cells use non - Pt catalysts and have the advantage of better efficiency because of the lower activation energy of the oxygen reduction reaction. However, there are various problems to be solved including problems such as the electrode damage and reduction of ion conductivity by being exposed to the carbon dioxide. Therefore, this mini review proposes various solutions for different problems of anion exchange fuel cells through a wide range of research papers.

‘Muhan’ (Hordeum vulgare L.), a new ruminant-palatability forage barley cultivar, was developed by the breeding team at the Department of Rice and Winter Cereal Crop, National Institute of Crop Science, RDA in 2013. It was derived from the cross between SB921011-3B-16-2/IT0188556 and ‘Suwon 365’. Among the cross made in 2002, a promising line, SB02T2097-B-B-B-18, showed good characteristics in potential forage yield in the yield trial tested at Iksan in 2009 to 2010 designated as Iksan 465. The line in the Regional Yield Trials(RYT) tested in eight locations around Korea for three years from 2011 to 2013, and was released as the name of ‘Muhan’. It has the growth habit of group Ⅳ, erect plant type, green leaf and awnless spike. Its average heading and maturing dates were on May 4, and June 4, respectively, with similar to check cultivar ‘Youngyang’. The cultivar had 102cm of culm length, 711 spikes per m2 and it showed better rate of leaf, winter hardiness, and resistance to BaYMV than those of the check cultivar. The average forage yield of ‘Muhan’ was about 12.4 ton ha-1 in dry matter in paddy field. ‘Muhan’ also showed 6.6% of crude protein content, 28.6% of ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber), 50.1% of NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber), and 66.3% of TDN (Total Digestible Nutrients), including higher grade of silage quality for whole crop barley

The cultivar had 99cm of culm length, 692 spikes per m2 and it showed better rate of leaf, winter hardiness, and resistance to BaYMV than those of the check cultivar. The average forage yield of ‘Jungmo2506’ was about 11.8 ton ha-1 in dry matter in paddy field. ‘Jungmo2506’ also showed 6.6% of crude protein content, 27.4% of ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber), 49.2% of NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber), and 67.2% of TDN (Total Digestible Nutrients), including higher grade of silage quality for whole crop barley.
A New Forage Barley Cultivar with Semi-Smooth Awn and High Yielding ‘Miho’

The purpose of development new variety ‘Miho’ (Hordeum vulgare L.) is a favorite with livestock feed and develop varieties resistant to disease and lodging. ‘Miho’ was carrying the growth habit of group Ⅲ, green and mid-wide leaf. Awn that are related to preference of livestock is a semi-smooth awn. This cultivar had 96cm of culm length, 650 of spikes per m2. Heading date of ‘Miho’ is April 27, and maturing dates on May 30, which were later than cultivar ‘Youngyang’. It also showed strong winter hardiness, and similar resistance to shattering and BaYMV compared with those of check one. The best thing among the traits of one is a new good quality with the plant green at the latter growing period. The average forage dry matter yield in the regional yield trial was about 13.1, 12.1 MT per ha in upland and paddy field, respectively, which were 9%, 2% higher than that of the check cultivar. It’s also showed 6.8% crude protein, 27.1% ADF (acid detergent fiber), and 67.5% TDN (Total Digestible Nutrients), including higher silage quality for whole crop barley. This cultivar would be suitable for the area whose daily minimum temperature was above -8℃ in January in Korean peninsula.

Recently anterior spinal device in the treatment of the unstable thoraco-lumbar spine has been used. We have experienced 11 patients of the unstable thoraco-lumbar spine, which were composed of 8 patients with burst fracture and 3 patients with tuberculous spondylitis. The 11 patients with neurological deficit were treated with an one stage anterior operation consisting of anterior decompression through vertebrectomy, realignment with Kaneda device. No patient showed neurologic deterioration after surgery. The anterior spinal instrumentation with Kaneda device affored enough stability to enable early ambulation with good alignment and solid fusion.

Improvement of winter hardiness, diseases resistance and good quality have been recently received more attention by covered barley(Hordeum vulgare L.) breeders than ever in Korea. “Hyegang”, a new covered barley cultivar with similar maturing and high yield was developed by the National Institute of Crop Science, RDA in 2011. It was derived from the cross between “Milyang87/NWX-GB-G 2” and “Milyang87/Chalbori” with good quality. The initial cross was done in 2000 and the selected line, “Iksan445” (YB4625-B-B-6-2), showed high yield and good quality characteristics under yield trial test in 2008. It was cultivated three times for three years (2009~2011) in the four locations of regional yield trial (RYT) in korea and was investigated about agronomic and quality characteristics and released as “Hyegang”. The heading date was May 4 in upland and April 26 in paddy field which was 1 and 0 day lateness respectively than that of check cultivar, “Olbori”. The culm length was 77 cm which was 6 cm shorter than that with check cultivar. It showed the spike length of 4.7 cm, 800 spikes / m2, 64 grains / spike and 25.1g for 1,000 grains weight. It showed similar maturing and stronger resistance to barley yellow mosaic virus (BaYMV) compare to check cultivar. It showed higher diastatic power 216DP than that of check cultivar, ‘Olbori’. Average yield of “Hyegang” in the RYT was 4.61 MT/ha in upland and 4.38 MT/ha in paddy field, espectively.
