현재 우리나라 일반국도의 포장관리시스템(PMS: Pavement Management System)은 세계은행(World Bank)이 주도한 HDM (Highway Development and Management)-4를 사용하여 유지보수 의사결정의 기초 자료로 사용하고 있으나, 과다한 입력변수와 모형의 불확실성 등으로 인해 국내 실정에 적합한 경제성 분석모형이 필요하게 되었으며, 대부분의 선진국의 경우에는 각 지역과 국가에 맞는 PMS 시스템을 구축하여 운영하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우리나라 실정에 맞고 효율적인 국도의 도로 및 포장관리를 위한 의사결정시스템을 개발하기 위한 연구로써 시스템 개발에 필요한 구성요소, 공용성 모형 개발, 각 요소별 활용가능한 원단위, 기준 등의 지표 정의 및 종류, 특성들을 분석, 정리하고 경제성 평가를 통해 최적 의사결정을 위한 시스템(S/W) 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 포장관리를 위해 개발한 의사결정시스템의 구성요소는 크게 1)도로, 교통, 사회경제 지표 등의 DB, 2) 도로포장상태의 공용성 모형, 3)도로포장상태에 따른 차량속도변화 모형, 4)경제성 평가 모형, 5) 의사결정지원 시스템으로 구성되며, 개발된 시스템의 검증을 위해 사례 구간을 대상으로 한 분석결과도 함께 제시하였다. 그러나 장래 확률적 특성을 고려한 공용성 모형의 개발과 의사결정을 위한 지표 개발에 대해서는 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다. PMS (Pavement Management System) of National highways in Korea has used HDM (Highway Development and Management)-4 developed by World Bank for decision-making for maintenance and rehabilitation of pavements. However using HDM-4 is not appropriate in Korea because HDM-4 requires excessive input factors for analysis and economic analysis models loaded in HDM-4 are not suitable for Korean circumstances. Thus this study aims development of decision-making system for effective pavement management with reflecting Korean circumstances. Moreover this study proposed to define component of system, deterioration models, and basic units for component, and to analyze characteristics of component of system, and also to develop optimal decision-making system. The decision-making system for PMS mainly consists of 1) DB of highways, traffics, and socio-economic index, 2) pavement deterioration model, 3) speed prediction models by pavement conditions, 4) economic evaluation models, and 5) decision-making supporting system. Also this study provided analysis results in case studies for system verifications. However pavement deterioration models considering future probabilistic characteristic and index of decision-making are needed to develop for a further study.
Synthesis of Naoporous Carbon as a Gas Adsorbent by Reverse Replication Process of Silica Template

Porous carbon with high surface area and pore volume was prepared by a reverse replication process and its toluene equilibrium adsorption behavior was investigated. The preparation process of the porous carbon was composed of following sub-processes in series: synthesis and template preparation of silica gel, impregnation and polymerization of DVB monomer in silica template, carbonization of DVB polymer in a silica-polymer composite, and HF-assisted selective etching of silica in carbon-silica composite. The prepared porous carbon was nano porous and had ultrahigh specific surface area (2007 m2/g) and large pore volume (3.07 cm3/g). The nanoporous carbon showed rapid toluene adsorption rate and good toluene adsorption capacity, compared with a commercial Y-type zeolite. In the present study, a reverse replication process to prepare nanoporous carbons will be introduced and its application potential as a gas adsorbent will be discussed.
Evaluation of Moisture Resistance of Asphalt Mixture Containing refined air-cooled slag

In this study, we conducted laboratory tests to evaluate the moisture resistance of the asphalt mixture containing air-cooled slag. Generally, in Korea, hydrated lime is used up to 1.5% of the aggregate weight to improve the moisture resistance of the asphalt mixture. The slag used in this study is a byproduct produced in the steel industry and can be produced through a specific process. And its chemical composition is similar to that of the hydrated lime stone and satisfies the filler quality standards of the Ministry of Land, Transport and Transport. In order to evaluate the moisture resistance of the asphalt mixture containing air-cooled slag, we conducted the dynamic immersion test, which is a non-compaction mixture test. Also we conducted the indirect tensile strength ratio test and the Hamburg wheel tracking test for compaction asphalt mixture test. As a result of the dynamic immersion test, the effect of stripping prevention was similar to that of hydrated lime because it did not show much difference from the hydrated lime mixture. In the case of indirect tensile strength test, the specimens prepared in the laboratory and on the site satisfied the quality standards of the Ministry of Land, Transport and Logistics and the TSR value increased with increasing the content of air-cooled slag. However, when the content of air-cooled slag is more than 2%, the indirect tensile strength value is getting lower. So it is judged that the appropriate content should be determined to be 2% or less. In the case of the Hamburg wheel tracking test, when the steel wheel load passed 20,000 times on the asphalt mixture containing 2% of air-cooled slag, it showed 5.27mm deformation. And the stripping point was not observed. In this study, it was found that when the air-cooled slag is used as a substitute for hydrated lime, the moisture resistance of the asphalt mixture can be improved. It is considered that the aircooled slag can be used for the asphalt pavement material through the characteristics analysis of mechanical and field application in the future
충격에너지를 활용한 압전 발전기의 특성을 이해하기 위한 실험 연구

본 논문에서는 도로공간에서 전력 생성이 기능한 신재생 에너지 기술들 중에서 압전효과를 활용하는 방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 도로공간을 주행하는 수많은 차량을 이용하여 전력을 생성할 수 있는 신재생에너지 기술 연구의 일환으로, 외부의 충격하중을 전기에너지로 바꾸어 주는 압전효과를 이용하여 도로공간에 적용가능한 압전발전기를 개발하기 위한 기초연구를 수행하였다. 압전세라믹을 이용한 압전발전 수확기를 개발하기 위한 충격하중에 따른 특성 실험을 하였다. 압전발전기 형상 개발을 위해 충격하중 전달 방법, 충격흡수에 따른 압전세라믹의 발전 특성, 충격하중의 종류에 따른 압전 발전 수확기의 전압 발전 특성을 비교분석 하였다. In this paper, available power generation on the road from renewable energy technologies on how to use the piezoelectric effect has been studied. A lot of vehicles on road that can generate electricity using renewable energy technology as part of the external shock to convert the load into electrical energy using piezoelectric effect piezoelectric generator can be applied to road space. Piezoelectric power harvesting using piezoelectric ceramics for the development of impact load characteristics were tested as function of various experimental design such as generator design and array of piezo-ceramic. To design the piezoelectric generator, the characteristics of piezoelectric ceremic were compared depending on the type of impact load as function of impact load, shock-absorbing.
