30세 이후 근력은 지속적으로 감소하며, 운동을 꾸준히 하지 않는 이상 60세 이후 30% 정도 소실되는 것으로 알려졌다. 근육량이 적어지면 기초대사량이 감소하여 쉽게 살이 찌고, 고혈압 등 만성질환 등에 노출되기 쉽다. 또한, 하체근력이 약화되면 걷기 등 일상생활에서 문제가 따르고, 낙상 등의 위험도 배가 된다. 따라서 건강한 노후생활을 즐기기 위해서는 근력을 유지하는 것이 필수라고 해도 무방하다.
주기적 연료 공급이 비애혼합 화염 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The effects of periodic fuel supply on the nonpremixed flame stability and soot formation were experimentally studied. A solenoid valve was used to control the period of fuel supply. The laser induced incandescence technique was used to visualize cool: volume fraction profile. The flame base shape was changed significantly by the fuel supply period and partially by the fuel flowrates. The portion of bluish flame near the flame base became larger as the period increased. When the period was long, two flames coexisted within one period. It seemed that the characteristic of flame stability were repeated with 4.68m change of fuel supply line length. The soot mass measurements and soot volume fraction measurements revealed that the maximum suppression of soot by the perioic fuel supply was approximately 75% , which occurred when the occurred when the fuel supply period was relatively long.

동일한 표본에 대하여 여러 시점에 걸쳐 반복적으로 조사되는 패널자료의 경우 표본의 탈락은 조사 결과의 신뢰성과 표본의 대표성 등에 문제를 야기할 수 있어 표본 탈락의 경향이나 요인에 대한 분석을 통해 표본의 탈락률을 낮추는 방안이 모색되어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 11년간(1998~2008) 한국노동패널 자료의 표본 탈락 시간에 대한 정보를 사용하여 생명표방법과 Cox 비례위험모형으로 표본 탈락에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하였다. In panel studies in which the same respondents are interviewed repeatedly over the long term, panel attrition may cause the problems in the reliability of the result and the representativeness of the sample in panel study. In this article, we explore the risk factors of sample attrition in the first 11 waves of the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study (KLIPS) data covering the years 1998-2008, for which the survival analysis techniques such as life-table method and Cox proportional hazard model based on the time to the attrition of each respondent as the survival time of the respondent are applied.

A risk assessment method using @Risk program was developed for evaluating a number of analysis data on residual pesticides in leafy vegetables produced in Korea. Results of pesticide residue analysis conducted by National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service (NAQS) between 2010-2012 were used as the residual data for the risk assessment. The average of unacceptable rate for residual pesticide in leafy vegetables was 0.03% which is equivalent to 427 out of the total 12,849 times. It is only 0 to 1% of ADI value for the analyzed pesticides, indicating that the tested leafy vegetables were safe as they were below the their MRLs. The exposure assessment was done using @Risk program to find 95% value and 99% value. Results of the statistical analysis showed that the residual pesticides in leafy vegetables were determined to be below the MRL value, and that it was safe to the consumers of infants, adolescences, and adults. Using the distribution of diet consumption on leafy vegetables and the residual pesticides, the Monte-Carlo simulation showed ADI and ARfD values for the residual pesticides in leafy vegetables ranged from 0.00 to 0.28%. Therefore, it was not exceeding over ADI and ARfD.
