The concept of brand experience was first put into a measurable scale by Brakus, Schmitt, and Zarantonello who proved in their article “Brand experience: What is it? How is it measured? Does it affect loyalty?” that brand experience factors are further divided as sensory, affective, intellectual and behavioral and positively affect consumer satisfaction and loyalty. Several studies have been done on the subject with lingerie as an exception despite it being a deeply personalized experience for women, affecting their external appearance as well as their self-image, confidence and sexuality. Hence the objective of this research is to identify the age/occupation wise factors imparting positive brand experience to lingerie buying consumers in India based on the brand experience scale propounded by Brakus, Schmitt, and Zarantonello. About 109 Indian women were interviewed in order to identify the factors which impart positive brand experience to them, and results significantly varied between different ages and occupation, proving that lingerie brands have to alter their products offering accordingly in order to enhance repeat purchase and foster brand loyalty.
Viscosities of binary mixtures of ethanenitrile with benzene and several substituted benzenes

Viscosities (η) and densities (ρ) of five binary mixtures of ethanenitrile with benzene and several substituted benzenes viz methylbenzene, 1,4-dimethylbenzene, chlorobenzene and 1,2-dichlorobenzene have been experimentally determined at 308.15 K. Viscosity deviations (Δη) from the linear blending rule have been evaluated for all the mixtures studied. These are small with a maximum negative deviation of about 6% for binary mixture with benzene and maximum positive deviation of about 3% for mixture with 1,4-dimethylbenzene. Δη Values are fitted into Redlich -Kister equation and standard deviations in Δη values, σ (Δη) have been evaluated. The correlating performance of several viscosity models such as Grunberg - Nissan, Katti and Chaudhari, Hind-McLaughlin - Ubbelohde and Sedgwick has been evaluated. Grunberg-Nissan viscosity model is suitable for viscosities of several binary systems studied. The results are discussed in terms of molecular interactions between the components of binary mixtures.

Background: The influence of smoking on nonsyndromic clefts has been a topic of research for many years. However, few studies have investigated the effect of smoking on causing clefts in different gene pools. Methods: A meta-analysis was conducted of case-control studies related to smoking. Keywords such as “clefts,” “cleft lip,” “cleft palate,” “orofacial cleft,” and “smoking” were used to search the MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane databases. Results: In total, 51 articles were reviewed. The RevMan software was utilized for the analysis, and the Mantel-Haenszel method was employed to pool the odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals. Although the overall OR, a measure of the association between exposure and outcome, was higher for smokers than for non-smokers, this association was significantly stronger in individuals from Asia and South America (1.73), and lowest in Europe (1.31). Among active and passive smokers in Asia, the OR was approximately 0.93, indicating an equivalent impact from both types of smoking. Conclusion: This analysis indirectly suggests that restriction measures targeting both active and passive smoking are crucial in Asia.

Several drugs have sparked interest as potential COVID-19 treatment options. Doxycycline (DOX) has been widely used with other potential agents to reduce COVID-19-induced inflammation. DOX and OFLX, both well-known antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory drugs, were chosen as model pollutants. Fe, Cu-codoped TiO₂-SiO₂ was synthesised as a novel photocatalyst active under sunlight irradiation to treat model pollutants. The synthesised catalyst samples were meticulously characterised using various techniques to evaluate their morphological, optical, and structural properties. The results of BET analysis showed that the TSFC1 sample has a large specific surface area of 288 m²g<SUP>-1</SUP>. Maximum degradation of DOX and OFLX (about 98%) was achieved with the TSFC1 catalyst. The photocatalytic reusability was investigated for up to seven successive cycles, and the composite particles maintained their high photodegradation activity for DOX and OFLX. TFSC1 composite, in particular, demonstrated high catalytic activity as well as excellent recovery potential, and its combination with solar light, silica, and dopants can be introduced as a promising strategy for efficiently destroying both DOX and OFLX antibiotics. This study highlights the feasibility of hybridising doped dual semiconductor nanostructures in implementing solar light-powered pharmaceutical wastewater degradation.
