TMA clathrate that is used as PCM of low temperature thermal storage system in this research creates hydrate crystallization at higher temperature than pure water, and its application is expected as PCM because of comparatively big latent heat without phase separation phenomenon. Ethylene Glycol is used as additive and evaluated experimentally for the purpose of the improvement in subcooling of TMA clathrate. In view of the results so far achieved subcooling is improved, the running time of the refrigerator is reduced. Thus the results are expected to use for the increase of coefficient of performance of low temperature thermal storage system in the building.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the propriety of TMA clathrate as a cold storage medium. Particularly, this is to examine the extent of subcooling improvement when the surfactants are added to the TMA clathrate, because water used cold storage material has low phase change temperature and subcooling. this study has been analysed and compared with TMA 30wt% clathrate how phase change temperature, subcooling and specific heat in the various concentrations are changed. This results view to be improved phase change temperature and subcooling of TMA30wt% as a cold storage medium, when it had some surfactant. Additionally, it is that surfactant must be controlled under available solution limit and study for new additive must be lasted to know its effect.
Temperature Effect on ZnO/Si Thin Film Grown Using Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition

We investigated the effect of deposition temperature on the growth and structural quality of ZnO films on Si(100) substrate using the metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) technique. We revealed that highly c-axis oriented ZnO thin films were obtained at the temperature of 400 ℃. The film crystallinity improved and the surface smoothness decreased with increasing growth temperature.

<P><B>Background</B></P><P>Tongil (IR667-98-1-2) rice, developed in 1972, is a high-yield rice variety derived from a three-way cross between <I>indica</I> and <I>japonica</I> varieties. Tongil contributed to the self-sufficiency of staple food production in Korea during a period known as the `Korean Green Revolution'. We analyzed the nucleotide-level genome structure of Tongil rice and compared it to those of the parental varieties.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>A total of 17.3 billion Illumina Hiseq reads, 47× genome coverage, were generated for Tongil rice. Three parental accessions of Tongil rice, two <I>indica</I> types and one <I>japonica</I> type, were also sequenced at approximately 30x genome coverage. A total of 2,149,991 SNPs were detected between Tongil and Nipponbare varieties. The average SNP frequency of Tongil was 5.77 per kb. Genome composition was determined based on SNP data by comparing Tongil with three parental genome sequences using the sliding window approach. Analyses revealed that 91.8% of the Tongil genome originated from the <I>indica</I> parents and 7.9% from the <I>japonica</I> parent. Copy numbers of SSR motifs, ORF gene distribution throughout the whole genome, gene ontology (GO) annotation, and some yield-related QTLs or gene locations were also comparatively analyzed between Tongil and parental varieties using sequence-based tools. Each genetic factor was transferred from the parents into Tongil rice in amounts that were in proportion to the whole genome composition.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>Tongil was derived from a three-way cross among two <I>indica</I> and one <I>japonica</I> varieties. Defining the genome structure of Tongil rice demonstrates that the Tongil genome is derived primarily from the <I>indica</I> genome with a small proportion of <I>japonica</I> genome introgression. Comparative gene distribution, SSR, GO, and yield-related gene analysis support the finding that the Tongil genome is primarily made up of the <I>indica</I> genome.</P><P><B>Electronic supplementary material</B></P><P>The online version of this article (doi:10.1186/s12284-014-0022-5) contains supplementary material, which is available to authorized users.</P>

KARI has been developed VDL(VHF Data Link) M2 system supporting simple air traffic services messages such as CPDLC and ADS. Now we are in the last phase of the VDL M2 project and are testing the system on the ground. In this paper, the developed VDL M2 system with test software and applications will be simply described and the ground link performance test setup and the test result are described.

<P>Little is known about hair mineral status in fibromyalgia patients. This study evaluated the characteristics of hair minerals in female patients with fibromyalgia compared with a healthy reference group. Forty-four female patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia according to the American College of Rheumatology criteria were enrolled as the case group. Ageand body mass index-matched data were obtained from 122 control subjects enrolled during visit for a regular health check-up. Hair minerals were analyzed and compared between the two groups. The mean age was 43.7 yr. General characteristics were not different between the two groups. Fibromyalgia patients showed a significantly lower level of calcium (775 µg/g vs 1,093 µg/g), magnesium (52 µg/g vs 72 µg/g), iron (5.9 µg/g vs 7.1 µg/g), copper (28.3 µg/g vs 40.2 µg/g) and manganese (140 ng/g vs 190 ng/g). Calcium, magnesium, iron, and manganese were loaded in the same factor using factor analysis; the mean of this factor was significantly lower in fibromyalgia group in multivariate analysis with adjustment for potential confounders. In conclusion, the concentrations of calcium, magnesium, iron, and manganese in the hair of female patients with fibromyalgia are lower than of controls, even after adjustment of potential confounders.</P>
Semi-quantitative Study on the Inclusion in Cooling Crystallization of RDX Using Various Solvents

<P>Inclusion entrapped inside the crystals prepared in the cooling crystallization of cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine (RDX) from solution was studied. Effect of supersaturation on the inclusion formation was also studied in crystallization using solvents. Solvents such as acetone (AC), cyclohexanone (CH), dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP), γ-butyrolactone (BL), and their mixtures with water were investigated. The quantitative amount of inclusions entrapped in the RDX crystallized in various solvents was related to the supersaturation. The inclusion fraction in the crystals was affected by the supersaturation and the solvent. In order to decrease the inclusion fraction, in the low supersaturation, AC and CH were recommended, while in high supersaturation, NMP and DMSO were desirable. Eventually the solvent effect on the inclusion was grasped by considering the supersaturation effect.</P>
