Voice activity detection (VAD) is the key of voice recognition, voice synthesis and speech-sound enhancement.For the sake of improve the accuracy and robustness of speech endpoint detection system. Combining the advantages of adaptive genetic algorithm (AGA) and improved radial basis function network (RBF) defects in existing learning methods. This paper presents a comprehensive detection method-- Adaptive genetic algorithm radial basis function network. This method uses adaptive genetic algorithm to simultaneously optimize the center, the width and the structure of RBF network. The method using wavelet analysis to extract the characteristics of the speech signal, use them as an input amount to the radial basis function networks. Establish voice detection system model, this method enhance the accuracy of the detection system and has better robustness.
Integrated Estimation of Vehicle States, Tire Forces, and Tire-Road Friction Coefficients

Information about the vehicle states (e.g. the sideslip angle and the longitudinal velocity), tire forces, and tire-road friction coefficients is crucial for advanced vehicular active safety systems. In particular, the latest high-performance control system based on optimally distributing and controlling all tire forces requires feedback of the tire forces and the tire-road friction coefficient of each individual tire. Therefore, estimating all or parts of the vehicle/tire/road states from available sensor measurements in production vehicles has long been an active research topic in both academia and industry. Despite recent advances in automotive estimation technologies, it remains an open question on identifying the tire-road friction coefficient of each individual tire. This paper proposes an integrated estimation system that provides accurate estimates of the vehicle/tire/road states from available sensor measurements. More importantly, the tire-road friction coefficient of each tire can be separately estimated. The performance of the proposed estimation system is verified by simulations based on a complex nonlinear vehicle/ tire model.
Does HBV Infection Increase Risk of Endometrial Carcinoma?

Objective: Connections between chronic inflammation and tumor development and progression are now generally accepted. Recent evidence indicates that hepatitis B is associated with several types of cancer, but whether endometrial carcinoma (EC) is included has not been reported. Methods: We analyzed HBV serum marker status in 398 patients with endometrial cancer, comparing them to 788 control women undergoing health examination. Results: The total prevalence of HBsAg tested positive in cancer group was significantly higher than the control group (12.8% vs 6.0%, P=0.001), while positive HBsAb was significantly lower (41.2% vs 68.5%, P=0.001). Hepatitis B carriers in endometrial cancer group were also more frequent than in the control group (9.3% vs 5.5%, P=0.013). Interestingly, in the endometrial cancer group, 147 cases were HBV serum marker negative, which was also higher than in the control group (36.9% vs 15.6%, P=0.001). Conclusion: There may be a correlation between HBV infection and endometrial carcinoma.
Physical properties and chemical composition of the cores in the California molecular cloud

<P><I>Aims.</I> We aim to reveal the physical properties and chemical composition of the cores in the California molecular cloud (CMC), so as to better understand the initial conditions of star formation.</P><P><I>Methods.</I> We made a high-resolution column density map (18.2′′) with <I>Herschel</I> data, and extracted a complete sample of the cores in the CMC with the fellwalker algorithm. We performed new single-pointing observations of molecular lines near 90 GHz with the IRAM 30m telescope along the main filament of the CMC. In addition, we also performed a numerical modeling of chemical evolution for the cores under the physical conditions.</P><P><I>Results.</I> We extracted 300 cores, of which 33 are protostellar and 267 are starless cores. About 51% (137 of 267) of the starless cores are prestellar cores. Three cores have the potential to evolve into high-mass stars. The prestellar core mass function (CMF) can be well fit by a log-normal form. The high-mass end of the prestellar CMF shows a power-law form with an index <I>α</I> = −0.9 ± 0.1 that is shallower than that of the Galactic field stellar mass function. Combining the mass transformation efficiency (<I>ε</I>) from the prestellar core to the star of 15 ± 1% and the core formation efficiency (CFE) of 5.5%, we suggest an overall star formation efficiency of about 1% in the CMC. In the single-pointing observations with the IRAM 30m telescope, we find that 6 cores show blue-skewed profile, while 4 cores show red-skewed profile. [HCO<SUP>+</SUP>]/[HNC] and [HCO<SUP>+</SUP>]/[N2H<SUP>+</SUP>] in protostellar cores are higher than those in prestellar cores; this can be used as chemical clocks. The best-fit chemical age of the cores with line observations is ~5 × 10<SUP>4</SUP> yr.</P>
