본 연구는 각종 첨단 기자재를 활용한 강의 현대화 방안을 모색함으로서 공학교육의 효율성을 도모하고 학생들의 학습동기를 유발하여 창조적 능력을 갖츤 전문기술 인력을 양성하는 데 도움을 주고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 현행 공학교육의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고 강의 현대화 사례를 조사하여 본 연구의 기초자료로 삼고자 하였으며, 학부·전공별 강의 현대화 추진 실태분석 및 개선방안을 모색한 후 이상의 연구결과를 종합하여 향후의 강의 형대화 추진방향을 걸정하였다. This study aims to help bring up the well-skilled and creative engineers by searching the modernization of education using various high technology facilities. For this, we analyzed the general condition and problems of current engineering education and surveyed the case study of the modernization of education as basic study. After analyzing the existing situation of promotion searching the proper improvement methods of it, we proposed the new direction of the modernization of education from now on.

Thousands of ppmv of hydrogen sulfide included in coal gas should be reduced to less than a hundred ppmv in the case of IGCC to prevent a gas turbine from being corroded, and few ppmv to prevent the performance of electrodes from declining in the case of MCFC. In the present paper a laboratory scale AFBG (Agitation Fluidized Bed Granulator) is made and improved. The sorbent for the removal of hydrogen sulfide is produced using an agitation fluidized bed granulator (ZnO 1.5 mole+TiO₂ 1.0mole+bentonite 5.0wt%). The techniques for fluidizing fine particles, classified in Geldart C group, in a fluidized bed are developed by installing an agitator blade in a fluidized bed granulator. The fine particles are fluidized and granulated successfully by using the techniques. Statistical, spectral and chaos analyses with granulated sorbent (100-300㎛) are performed to investigate the hydrodynamics of granulates in a fluidized bed. The average absolute deviation, power spectral density functions, phase space trajectories, and Kolmogorov entropy obtained from pressure fluctuation are plotted as a function of fluidizing velocity. It is shown that the Kolmogorov entropy implying the rate of generation of information can be applied to the control of fluidization regimes.

A new oxygenated monoterpene (4) was isolated from the methanol extract of the aerial part of Erechtites hieraceiolia together with six known components, a dimethylheptane (1), three ionone derivatives (2,3 and 7) and two phenylpropanoids (5 and 6). Their structures were identified by means of physico-chemical and spectral data to be (2E, 5E)-6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylhepta-2,4-dienal (1), 3(R)- hydroxy-5,6- epoxy-β-ionone (2), 3(R)-hydroxy-5,6-epoxy-β-ionol (3), (3E, 6E)-3,7- dimethylocta-3,5-dien-1,2,7-trios (4), 2-hydroxy4- (2-propenyl)phenyl- β-D -glucopvanoside (5), 2-methoxy-7(2-pnpenyl)phenyl -β-D -glucopyra- noside (6) and (6R,9R)-3-oxo-β-ionol-α-D -glucopyranoside (7).
Protocorm-like body를 이용한 호접란 형질전환 연구

본 연구는 Agrobacterium을 이용한 효율적인 호접란 형질전환 시스템의 확립을 위해 실시하였고, 호접란 PLB의 대량증식을 위한 배지 조성은 하이포넥스 기본 배지에 활성탄 1g/l, 티아민 0.1 mg/l 및 sucrose 30 g/l을 배지에 첨가한 경우 PLB가 안정적으로 증식되었다. 계대 배양시 PLB 절단 방법이 PLB의 생존과 증식에 큰 영향을 미치며, PLB 위쪽으로부터 1/3 부위를 절단하여 계대 배양한 경우 90% 이상의 가장 높은 증식률을 나타났다. Agrobacterium 접종 시 균이 묻어 있는 침으로 PLB를 찔러 상처를 내는 dipping 방법을 이용하여 형질전환 효율을 높일 수 있었다. Agrobacterium 배양액의 흡광도 값이 0.8일 때 형질전환 효율이 가장 높았고, 형질전환된 PLB의 선발은 1 ㎎/l 정도의 저농도 hygromycin을 함유한 배지에 계대배양 하는 것이 효율적이었다. 호접란 형질전환체를 먼저 GUS assay를 통하여 선발하였고, 선발된 개체로부터 genomic DNA를 추출하여 GUS 특이적 primer와 probe로 PCR과 Southern blot 분석을 수행하고 유전자의 도입여부를 조사한 결과 GUS 염색된 형질전환체에서 정상적으로 GUS 유전자가 도입된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation procedure for the phalaenopsis orchid, established by using Protocormlike bodies (PLBs), was aimed at the introduction of target genes into individuals with divergent genetic backgrounds. PLBs obtained from the axillary bud of a peduncle were maintained on a hyponex medium supplemented with 1 g/l of activated charcoal, 30 g/l of sucrose and 0.1 mg/l thiamine. The multiplication rate of PLBs was about 90% in case of subculture PLBs to be cut transversely into 1/3 part from top position. The PLBs were inoculated with Agrobacterium strain EHA105 harboring both β-glucuronidase (GUS) and hygromycin-resistant genes for 20 minutes after dipping treatment. Transformation efficiency was the highest with a Agrobacterium culture medium and dipping treatment of O.D. 0.8. Newly induced PLBs were put on selection medium containing 1 ㎎/l hygromycin for 2 months. Hygromycin-resistant phalaenopsis plants that regenerated after the selection culture of PLBs showed histochemical blue staining due to GUS. Transgene integration of the hygromycin-resistant plants was confirmed by PCR and Southern blot using GUS specific primers and probe.

<P>The goal of this study is to develop a simple one-pot method for the synthesis of a zwitterionic small molecule bearing disulfide moiety, which can effectively inhibit nonspecific protein adsorption on macroscopic and nanoscopic gold surfaces. To this end, the optimal molecular structure of a pyridine disulfide derivative was explored and a zwitterionic small molecule was successfully synthesized from the tertiary amine residue on the pyridine ring through a one-pot method. The coating conditions of the synthesized zwitterionic molecules on the gold surface were optimized through contact angle measurements, and the strong interactions between the gold surface and the disulfide moiety of the zwitterion small molecule were confirmed by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) analysis and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The antibiofouling properties of the coated gold surface were analyzed by fluorescence microscopic observations after contacting with FITC-labeled bovine serum albumin (BSA) and SPR sensor as contacting with BSA solution. In addition, the effect of zwitterion-coating on the salt stability of and protein adsorption on nanoscopic gold surfaces were examined through a NaCl stability test and BSA adsorption test, respectively. From the obtained results, it was confirmed that the simply synthesized zwitterionic small molecule was effective in inhibiting nonspecific protein adsorption on macroscopic and nanoscopic gold surfaces; further, it enhanced the salt stability of gold nanoparticle surfaces.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
