      • Smart Charging Concept with Infortainment Device in EV space

        Electric Vehicles (EV) are getting fast increased in current car sales market. Two major issues, however, which are charging delay and an infrastructure of charging system, are still waiting for proper investigations. The charging delay is basically correlated to electric cost in the power grid space. The infrastructure of charging system is actually required to huge investment to cover the current same units of fuel station in the world. This paper proposes a concept so that these problems can be quite improved by using intelligent charging method, which can commonly be called to as “Smart Charging Solution” in EV space. The main approach of this suggestion is a method refining the basic vehicle charging scheme of pure charging system using infortainment (Information + Entertainment) component, to a more proper way that is derived from insight into the current power grid configurations. The concept proposed in this paper, includes a real-time control strategy for charging the EV battery using a dynamic algorithm by infortainment electric device connected to smart grid environment through network, with the objective of improving the charging efficiency.
